The Saddle Club recently hosted my Dads funeral reception. From the outset, the staff were amazing. Very slick, and on the day, everything went perfectly and the food was more than enough and delicious. What a great venue. Thanks

We have just had a 30th birthday party here, and from the first contact it has been great. The communication has been brilliant, and all of the staff are lovely. The function room itself is beautiful and having access to the lovely beer garden is a massive plus. I would definitely recommend. We will be using this venue again.

We where at a function when I went the toilet only to witness at least 8 lads doing drugs, I asked for the owner but was told he’d gone home, to be honest not one person who worked there seemed bothered when I complained, at the bar I was talking to who I thought was the photographer because he had a Max Speilmans top on but turned out he was a local, he told me it’s the same most Sundays when these lads get in there, apparently the owner knows all about the drug dealing but my new friend said he’s not bothered as long as thier spending money, later on the same lads were fighting outside but again no one was bothered, all the doorman said was ‘stop it lads and go home, there was young children at the function watching all this, absolutely disgusting, I managed to video the drug taking and fighting, I was going to send it to the police but apparently the owners a mason so that won’t go anywhere, place should be shut

Excellent venue for celebrating and entertaining.

After much searching for a suitable private venue for a funeral gathering, from nearby Landican we couldn't have made a better choice. Very friendly and efficient staff, a pleasing atmosphere and a well presented buffet. All dietary requirements catered for no problem. Thank you all involved very much, we appreciate you helping to make an important day memorable and easy to organise. Would highly recommend The Saddle Club for functions.

Event for 60th wedding anniversary Hi Leah Well first of all I must apologise for not writing a review before now , it was a manic week and I am now back in Spain. I would like to say thank you so so much for a wonderful evening for mum and dads 60th wedding anniversary celebration - it was fabulous, we all had an amazing evening especially mum and dad as it was an absolute surprise for them. You really did manage an amazing event, the room was fabulous, your staff were amazing, the buffet was perfect with lots of selection . I did thank everyone at the saddle club in my speech but I of course want to thank you personally for such a fabulous professional event - everyone loved it . Yozzer was amazing really made the evening - great entertainer everyone thought he was fab. Best regards Jo

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the saddle club and the staff were brilliant from start to finish, can't thank them all enough for the efforts they put in to make our day memorable.

Went to a 60th last night great disco great atmosphere great food thanks

Ideal venue for a wedding. Olde Worlde bar and large beer garden. Probably best to hire the public bar area as well as function room was a bit packed.

Leah and her team are so lovely , & really helpful . I had my 60th birthday party here......never hired a venue before for a party , but it was amazing. The buffet was lovely & well presented ....its got nice outdoor area too .

Amazing time. The staff dressed the room beautifully. Better than I could have imagined. Amazing venue. Me and my partner were lost for words. Staff are so nice and friendly and even had a dance with us. They went above and beyond. We had so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful the room was. How gorgeous the food was and how polite, funny, and caring the staff are. Me and my partner will 100% be booking events here in the future. Absolutely amazing time! X

Poor all round, staff rude, liers, obnoxious. Whole buffet Poor to say the least. Onion rings hot food, joke. Keep away, waste of good money. 1 star is being generous.

Great little club, friendly atmosphere, great outdoor area. Staff was great, never long to wait for getting served. Reasonable prices and a good choice of drinks. Love going here and if i lived closer, would frequent it a lot more often. Well worth a visit.

We had a wake here yesterday,the barmaid jasmine couldn't have been nicer,the owner was excellent as well,all of our needs were met, very nice beer garden, good range of drinks, excellent service, highly recommended indeed

We went to have at look around whilst looking for wedding venues. Small car park. Wheelchair access is limited. It was basically a room in a pub

Great little place for a do.Had a family party here.Good prices and all the beer I had came in chilled glasses.Been crying out for that in this country for years.Grest place👍

Yesterday we held our dad's funeral wake here . The staff, from us booking the venue and ordering the food were exceptional . The day went well , food was good staff were attentive,, and we were blessed with fabulous weather so were able to use the outside seating area as well.Thank you .

I had my engagement party last night at the saddle, amazing night! Lovely and helpful staff and great atmosphere the function room is beautiful. A lot of space and their DJ was fantastic. Great venue for anyone looking for a special occasion I highly recommend.

There are no words to describe how thankful we are to Leah and the team at The Saddle Club, our previous reception venue cancelled 2 days before our wedding and Leah messaged me straight away upon finding out and did everything in her power and got us booked in with only 2 days notice, they are our heroes, Sarah the barmaid was a superstar all night serving all of us keeping us well "hydrated" haha. The room we were in was beautiful, perfect to fit us all in and a perfect area for a DJ to set up and not impede on the space of the room. All in all the whole night was both saved and made perfect by the team, we will never be looking elsewhere for our future parties!

I dressed this venue and dropped buffet off on Saturday, the staff were very helpful, the place is extremely clean and great to host an event x

We had a funeral here,staff fabulous

The staff were friendly and helpful when we spoke and on the day of our reception but all contact and communication leading up to the day was awful. Emails weren’t replied to, email address were taking down wrong and calls weren’t returned. I had to phone up repeatedly for responses and would get told they had a bounce back and they were planning on contacting us. We understand staff turnover and replacements but felt completely dismissed and ignored as unimportant. After repeated instructions on how to dress the room on the day and specific colour table cloths, when we got there they had put the wrong table cloths on. We paid for the buffet including vegetarian options but nothing was labelled so the vegetarians attending didn’t know what they could eat. We hired out the room for the entire day and evening and was informed by family that when they got there, staff told them they could not enter the room we had hired for resulting in them going somewhere else. Drink prices fluctuated through the night as well. The resident DJ we were told was great and we hired didn’t play the playlist we provided for the first couple of hours and kept switching it over to music people didn’t enjoy and we started getting complaints about it. He turned down our music when we asked him to play it and made rude comments in between songs that soured the tracks. We specifically made a playlist to include songs that were meaningful to us and our guests and his behaviour was appalling, we strongly suggest hiring someone else if you want a DJ for your function there. The staff were always smiling and helpful when we needed them but the organisation and lead up to the day was the most stressful part of our wedding and was a disappointment to have to deal with even on the day itself.

Sadly we there for a funeral so can only rate it for the experience had for that And it was realy nice intermet venue food was good

Fantastic place and very welcoming. Prices are very good too. I was there after my mother's funeral and the owner took care of everything the buffet was superb I don't think anything was left, so thank you so much for everything.

We were attending after a funeral .the staff were welcoming and friendly the adhered to all covid guidelines We sat outside in a beautiful seating area The Buffett was presented beautifully with hot and cold options The soft drinks were cheap I would recommend this venue as the staff were professional and it was spotlessly clean

The Saddle Club is the best kept secret on the wirral. Lovely atmosphere. Great staff and management. These are testing times. The Saddle Club has handled all the rules perfectly.

Friendly club, has function hire facilities for all types of venus, weddings, christening parties, friendly staff , also small separate bar for the public to socially have a drink . Would recommend a visit .

Had my sons 30th was OK but could have done with a happier d.j and more bar staff.

We attended a function and the room was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar prices were reasonable too. One small issue though, the radiators were so hot! We asked for them to be switched off but the roon be ame uncomfortably hot. A room full of people and red hot rads?

Lovely private room for the baby shower. Drinks are very well priced. Staff are lovely. Not much parking.

From the minute we arrived the staff were fabulous, very friendly and helpful. The service was very good especially as there were about 100 people or more to serve. The buffet food was delicious and replaced as soon as it was running out. They cleared the tables to keep areas tidy. My friend used the ladies and said they were quirky with quote signs everywhere to read. The only downside is the car Park is very small. Otherwise can’t fault this place, thank you!

Had our little girls christening here on Sunday. The staff and food were amazing. Great value and all of our guests commented how great it was. Will definitely use for future events.

We have booked our wedding reception here. A lovely place with very helpful and accommodating staff A+

We had our daughters christening here and couldn’t fault it. Staff were friendly and helped with the layout of the room. The room was a good size for our guests and fitted the buffet and dj in. The outdoor area is nicely done out and linked to the room so the kids could play outside.

Nice quirky little pub literally hidden away on the far edge of Prenton. Very cosy with sports on the TV and a really good choice of beers.

Used to be a night club many years ago.its now a pub and has function room it's a lovely place and staff are very helpful and go out of their way to help.Will definitely be going back

Good place for a drink .bit more pricy than when I used to go. Caters for functions. Karaoke on Sunday nights.i have not been yet so do not know how professional it is.

We have had18th, 21sts, 50th and 60th birthdays and 40th eadding anniversarys here. As you might have conclude, we like the place a lot. It is a little gem tucked away in Prenton Wirral. As a bar/pub it is very very nice and freindly/

Beautiful outdoor area, really accomadaring staff, wide variety of drinks and lovely food. Toilets were very clean and the whole place made for a very positive experience.

This was my third visit here and I thoroughly enjoyed it the food is amazing and the staff and service was second to none I would totally have no hesitations in eating here again and look forward to the next time the food is gorgeous and reasonably price as are drinks very reasonably priced staff are very friendly and attentive without being overbearing so well done Cornoviis at the Saddle club
