food was lovely and staff were fab! Service was great and food was quick. Was worth the visit and would definitely visit again!

Had the tomahawk which was served with potatoes and mushrooms and we ordered a side of onion rings - all went down a treat! Great service, attentive but didn't feel pressured in to leaving. We also had the cheesecakes which were spot on! Over all excellent experience, music is ambient and you can easily have a conversation over it, atmosphere was lovely, not too costly for what we ordered either.

I came here to celebrate my results with family, the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere with incredible service and lovely staff particularly kardi who was our server she was so polite and made us all feel welcome. The staff kindly gifted me a free drink to celebrate which was so kind of them to go above and beyond for our meal. I could not fault anything as the food was delicious and everything about the restaurant was just incredible.

Broadway Steak and Wine has long been a restaurant I've wanted to visit but never been able to until tonight. Today is mine and my husband's 23rd wedding anniversary and so we decided to celebrate in style. The restaurant provides table service which I love. Don't get me wrong, going to the bar to order your meal is great and easy to do but if I'm going out for a special occasion I think table service is best (for me at least). We arrived in plenty of time for our booking and the restaurant was quiet, there was a football match on at the time but the sound was off and it didn't interfere with the ambiance of the place either. We decided on a table near to the bar as I use a wheelchair and there seemed to be a bigger space at the table provided. Our server was polite and kind and very understanding when I asked for no ice in my drink. We both had starters. I had the Bruschetta and my husband the Calamari. We then both had steak for our main meals. Now typically the steaks here come with new potatoes but I asked if I could have chips with mine instead and it was not a problem at all. We both had dessert too. He had the trio of ice cream and I had the Sticky Toffee Pudding with custard. You could have it with ice cream if you prefer. Because it was our anniversary the manager gave us both a cup of tea on the house. We could have had alcohol but we don't drink it. This is a great place to come for food. The staff are all very polite and nothing is too much trouble for them. They are so helpful and listen to you when you talk to them. The steaks are pricey but these are T-Bone steaks cooked exactly to your likeness. We will definitely go again but not for a while. This is our new special occasion place and it's brilliant. If you haven't been you should go. They do other meals beside Steak. They have Chicken or Lamb Casseroles, burgers, fish and other items. It was terrific!

We visited on Saturday night for an anniversary meal with my other half. The restaurant is clean, tidy and has warm decor throughout. We had chicken wings and creamy prawns to start with, then very flavoursome melt in the mouth fillet and t-bone steaks, we ordered peppercorn and Diane sauce but had it with our chips as the meat was very simply delicious on its own. For dessert we had raspberry and biscoff cheesecakes, again very flavoursome. Waiter was very polite and friendly without being overbearing. We had 3 course meal, 3 drinks and 2 coffees (one of them a Bailey's coffee) and the bill came to £130 with a tip included. Happy birthday was played very loudly 3 times for different parties and the whole atmosphere was great without being too loud, nice background music and lively ambience. We have been before and will come back again.

First time we have been here, but it was very nice. Food was very good, staff were. Ice and stayed out of the way when they weren't needed and the atmosphere was chilled. We'll be back soon for more

Amazing place well worth going.

Absolutely love this Steak house. The Steak is the best I've had. The fish is beautiful with all trimmings. They even go out their way to do me a pot of gravy to dip my chips 😊. Staff are so lovely friendly and make your night so special. The Cocktails are the best, ( Strong) Lovely cosmopolitan or porn star. Atmosphere is always great. Had a lady singer on last week, excellent 👏. Never Ever disappointed. My favourite place to eat out. All the waiters are always happy never a dull moment. 🤩

Went to this restaurant for a 40th birthday meal it was delicious food staff very friendly and a good atmosphere would highly recommend .

I had sea bass and the rest of us had fillet steak or burgers, it was all absolutely delicious. My fish was cooked perfectly and was the most delicious meal I have eaten out in a very long time so said all 8 others in our group , the staff made us so welcome they all made the evening special. Exceptional place to eat .

Excellent service always on the ball with drinks and taking order! We both had the fillet steak 10/10 would recommend absolutely incredible! We came for my boyfriend birthday and they gave a cheesecake on the house with a candle! Such a special touch! This was my first time coming here and I will 100% be returning and telling family and friends!

Place was nice only gave 3 stars as we asked to swap the boiled potatoes for mash an they agreed an yet brought the boiled an the mash out an charged for us both an this happened with all our party meal was a bit pricy, the photo is the tomahawk steak for 2

we had great night, great place to dine and wine.

We have been several times before and knew we were on to a winner! The steaks were big and tender and the burgers were huge with a great variety of fillings and mixes. All five of us enjoyed our food immensely and would recommend this to anyone and everyone.

Walked in on the off chance and got a table. There was a Birthday party in progress which the Staff were managing and whilst they were all having fun this didn’t spoil the dining experience. Food was great .

I feel sad to write this review as I have had many good evenings at Broadway steak and wine. My previous experience has found the food to be good and service excellent. It is for this reason I booked to have Christmas dinner there this year. I can't express how disappointing this was. The meal options felt cheap and easy with little thought. The meals arrived reflecting that. My daughter is 3 years old and was given adult portions even though I advised beforehand it was for a child. She refused to even try it because she recognised this wasn't a child's meal and was overwhelmed. I requested specific things for my daughter to make the meal option child friendly but this was ignored and adult portions were brought out ie bruschetta with little topping. It arrived with an overwhelming amount of tomato and did not look appetising. The Christmas dinner was shocking. The vegetables completely bland and simply boiled, not even seasoned. The Yorkshire pudding rock hard. ONE roast potato. I don't know about anyone else but no one has one roast potato on any roast dinner never mind a Christmas dinner. My friend had lamb shank. The mash potato was soft to the point of being watery. The only bit that was nice was the dessert which was acceptable but nothing exciting. The final course was a cheese board but we said to leave it as we had had enough by that point. To be fair my daughter wasn't charged (not that she ate any of it) but we were both charged £69 each. Considering the meal was so poor and we didn't have the final course this shows it was simply about the numbers and money on the day. Even the crackers were cheap with a joke, hat and no toy. When I reported my dissatisfaction a gentleman did come over to try and resolve this by giving my daughter a balloon. This was appreciated but sadly the gesture didn't make up for the issues. I have been to Broadway steak and wine for Sunday dinner and had a better (and cheaper) experience. I have been other nights and loved it. After this I wouldn't return again as I feel that such a special occasion should have thought. If you are charging you should deliver a service to reflect this. It felt like it was a conveyer-belt service getting as many people in as they could to make money with the largest mark up they could manage at the expense of the customer. Really disappointing.

I won't elaborate too much as everyone's already said it. We all had a superb meal here, the steak is absolutely delicious, grilled to perfection, and I'm fussy when it comes to steak. The burgers are superb too as are the salad and sides that come with it. Very generous portions too. Every staff member (and the boss) who came to check on us were great. Give these guys a good tip as they deserve it. An easy 5* rating from me. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely meal at Broadway Steak and Wine. The food was delicious, and the steak so well cooked. The atmosphere of this place on a Saturday feels like the is a buzz of energy about the place. We booked a table for two the day before, and it was busy but this didn't seem to affect the service. We were seated quickly, and didn't wait long for drinks or food orders. Food came in good time as well. The mixed grill is a lot of meat, if that's what you like - but all well cooked and good pieces of meat. Chicken shish was so tender. The fillet steak was really good quality and well cooked to our liking. Facilities were clean, modern, and well looked after There are other items on the menu, but if its steak your ordering, depending on the cut, you'll be paying around £25 for a main meal. That's reasonable I think due to the high quality and preparation, and good standards throughout the restaurant. If you like steak then this place is for you.

We had a lovely meal last night, lots of choice on the menu. There were 5 in our party, we all ordered different things and all cleared our plates. The staff were very attentive but not in your face. I would highly recommend it. The prices are reasonable too. I’ll look forward to our next visit.

I really like this place, but the sea bass was dry. Service is really good though and the other 7 in our party enjoyed their meals.

We had a lovely experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing, delicious and really good value for money. Mixed grill was delicious and the halloumi salad and cheeseburger! The atmosphere is great! Definitely recommend it and we're gonna go again very soon!

Not to be missed great food and service.

The steak is really good quality. However the first time I went the T bone was unevenly cooked and completely overdone. One half more than well done and the other half well done. I asked for medium rare. This time we ordered the tomahawk to share. Again, great steak and this time really well cooked. We asked for however the chef thought it should be done and it was perfect. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the visual look of the huge tomahawk bone because the waitress dropped it on the floor as she reached our table and before she put the food down. It's a good job they'd chopped it up beforehand. I was slightly irritated because there was clearly meat still on the bone and it was just annoying when you're paying 60 quid for a steak. However we took the bone home for the dog. Lucky dog! No apology either or suggestion of any kind of restitution. Still gave them a tip but just left irritated for the second time.

Was pleasantly surprised at the interior of this place, very nice 👌 I thought the food was good, tasty and how it should be...hard to come by on the Wirral. There was only 10 or so customers so would like to go back when it's busy to compare. I'm considering it for a reception venue if they'll accommodate 🙂

Lovely atmosphere, comfy environment. Food was lovely. I loved the starter and dessert. Only slight niggle was the Sunday roast, the veg could be softer and was expected a better Yorkshire pudding? But other meal (the steak was cooked perfectly, couldn’t fault it) I would definitely come here again

We went last night as it was our 40th Wedding Anniversary. The service was fabulous as was the food. Staff were very attentive, but not pushy. The place was packed so we were glad we booked a table & people were in & out all the time. The atmosphere is lovely & has a bit of a holiday vibe. The only thing i didn't like (& this is i suppose personal to me) that the music was too loud & we couldn't talk without raising our voices. Other than that, i would highly recommend a visit!!!

I thought this place may be another on the Wirral where people are nuts for it but then when you go it isn't that great... LET ME TELL YOU... It was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is just so warm and if I am honest the decore is so well done I could imagine being anywhere, love when a place creates escapism! The staff were so attentive, thorough and friendly. I feel they would of done anything for me. Service was so quick and easy didn't feel a chore. The food was super good. We had a sharing platter, which was put together by someone who clearly enjoys the kitchen and it reflected in their food. I had the cajun chicken burger which was nice but after tasting my husbands steak dish I wish I had had that because that was something else! I thought it was reasonably priced, and I was happy to pay for all the above reasons. Would definitely come here again.

Went on a Thursday to celebrate our anniversary, and by 7.30pm the place was rammed! Delicious food, attentive, friendly staff and great atmosphere! Going back at the end of the month for my wife's 60th birthday bash!

Everything was perfect, the steak was cooked to perfection, highly recommended, there was no facility to add gratuity to the bill when paying by card, and I only had £5 in cash for the tip.

Went for Sunday roast booked in for 4pm on arrival were told roast had all gone had off there menu food was delicious great service

After quite a few visits to Broadway over the last year, every time it exceeds expectations. Steak is always incredible and the service is always perfect. Every time visited we have been made to feel so welcome. Our favourite restaurant on the Wirral by a mile! Highly recommended.

Wow, what can I say? Booked a table for 14 on Tuesday evening to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. We arrived in dribs and drabs but nothing was too much trouble. We were shown to our table, asked if we wanted drinks or if we wanted to wait. Once we'd all arrived the service was exceptional. Never intrusive but we never felt ignored or made to wait for anything (a great skill of any restaurant). They made my dad feel so important and that was brilliant. And then to the food....double wow!!!...starters were great (a selection of bruschetta, garlic bread, hummus, feta cheese & olives, prawn cocktail and garlic sausages). All brought to the table in double quick time and served with a smile. As we had older guests, we never felt rushed and plates were only cleared when everyone had finished. Main courses were a selection of steaks, chilli chicken, beef and cajun chicken burgers, a lamb shank that would feed about four, salmon. Sides were delicious and we even got some complimentary chips. Service was again attentive but not intrusive. Just perfect. Desserts were also delicious. Selection of cheesecakes, ice cream and an Irish coffee. We had a mixture of drinks from soft drinks (lemonade, blackcurrant and soda, diet coke, coke) to beers (Peroni and Efes) and some other drinks (vodka, lime and lemonade and dry martini and lemonade). Then, to top everything off, when we got the bill, we were advised that there was 25% off the main courses so our expected outlay was significantly less. All in all, a perfect evening, in a restaurant that obviously cares for it's customers, served by a polite and professional team, where the atmosphere was great. Highly highly recommended and we will be back.
