The food OH THE FOOD - WOW Not had as much delicious food from one place ever, price is so fair for the quality and the size of the portions. Do not pass this place up, I’m having left overs for breakfast lol

We waited 45 minutes for a chicken sandwich and three fried eggs. They didn’t ask how we wanted the eggs cooked, and they arrived undercooked. The prices are extremely high for food that is below average in quality. Although the kitchen is hidden, I saw a young lady handling our fries with her bare hands—imagine someone touching your food before you eat it! I don’t recommend this place, as they clearly need professional staff, not 16-year-old school kids.

Just had breakfast at this lovely new cafe. They do decaf lattes too. Breakfast was delicious hot, tasty and plenty of what you requested (breakfast your own way) option. Lovely service. Love the styling and the best bit this cafe is open till 9.30pm, love this, this is what more cafes should do. I believe this is what more people want, a nice local place you can go on an evening to socialise, have a drink, have coffee, food etc. I really hope this cafe does well, I hope local people visit here and keep this lovely cafe going. Can't recommend Three dollar bill enough. I will most definitely be going again and making this my friends and I new favourite coffee place. 😊

I walked in today and asked very politely if I could use the toilet. I explained that I was desperate and was pregnant. I explained that all the public toilets were closed. I pleaded with the girl on the counter but she insisted it was only for customers. I feel that this was unfair and a basic human right. I remained calm and friendly but she insisted only for customers. I don’t care how nice the food is in here. It put me off ever coming to eat in their establishment, with their attitude to someone in desperate need.

Have been numerous times and enjoyed every bit of it, these guys care about their craft guys, get on to it! ✌️

The evening started with a debate about what makes a pizza. As this is "Detroit" style the cheese is on the bottom. My partner prefers this style as the cheese covers every corner so your never short and the base is much thicker and softer. I feel like it's more like cheese on toast with an after thought of pizza toppings. Putting that debate to one side and just focusing on the flavours - this was a very nice meal! I would advise if you are getting a pizza to yourself, you probably don't need sides though as it is very filling! This time we opted to share a pizza and get sides too. The "saucy salami" pizza was really quite nice. I did spread the marinara sauce all over though as for presentations sake, it's just down the centre on top of the toppings. And for side I got salt n pepper fries, which were actually very nice! All in all it was a very nice meal that we paired with Pina coladas!

It was fairly unedible, sorry. Too sweet, to artificial in taste. Potatoes were well burned too.

Absolutely love the pizza here and you get so much for your money. The chicken and tots, also fantastic, I can't decide which are my favourite, I love it all. Service is top notch, very friendly and efficient staff, everyone makes you feel very welcome. Great to go with the kids but also as a couple or friends as you can have a few drinks. Highly recommend!

Amy and the team were fantastic in catering for our group of 17 on Saturday night. Food and service were both first class - no one was without a drink all night and we all left with our bellies full! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

I am taking full credit for finding this absolute gem !!! Mummy points for me! The food is incredible. It was our first time trying pizza like this and we were not disappointed. My husband and I visited with our 11 year old daughter. All of us are fussy foodies and we have our bar set high. The three of us could not fault anything. Food, Service & atmosphere perfect. We ordered 2 Detroit style pizzas , tots , fries and Mac and cheese ( daughter’s favourite). Everything we left was happily boxed up for us to take home. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. Ordered a takeaway last night and it was hands down THE best pizza we’ve ever had (and we’ve eaten a lot of pizza). Prompt and friendly delivery, they even threw in a hot honey which elevated the meat feast pizza to the next level. Keep on being awesome guys!

Excellent place, staff are awesome and the food is amazing.

Visited today for a light lunch whilst in the area. After looking at the menu somebody passing by said how the food was lovely, so we decided to give it a go. We had a mixture off the toastie menu and my good they were delicious. Service was great and so welcoming. We love the fact that dogs are also welcome so next time we're over this way we know where we're going.

Called up for a collection order on a Sunday. Friendly staff over the phone. Arrived and waited a little bit for my order, but I didn’t mind because it was nice and hot. My boyfriend and I split the Bang Bang Chicken pizza (definitely big enough to share) and a side of tater totes with garlic and hot honey dip. All delicious! Would definitely go back and have the loaded tater tots and dessert next time

We ordered a takeaway for collection and it was running a bit over. The team were Brillant got us colours for my daughter and a drink. The food was amazing as always.

Still a great place to get huge thick Detroit pizza.. really filling... One pizza will easily do 2 people.. nice sides to, the Mac n cheese is fabulous.. Loaded tots are tasty with the burrata also.

Never had a Detroit style pizza before so went open minded, and we weren't disappointed. Apart from one small niggle. Pizzas are huge, I mean huge. One would have done the two of us with a side or two. Perfectly cooked, lovely crunchy chewy focaccia style base, and the caramelised cheese crust was on another level. The only thing was the toppings were a bit light. I really struggled to taste the difference in the two pizzas we ordered. Just a sprinkle more toppings and it would have been five stars. Would definitely recommend Three Dollar Bill, and look forward to going again.

Outstanding...We ordered a meat feast pizza and chicken strips, and it would have fed a family of four easily. Let's start with the chicken strips. These thick, juicy and crispy strips aren't just your bog standard chicken tenders everyone does, no! These are giant strips of chicken breast, deep fried to crispy, spicy heaven. The pizza is loaded with flavour, toppings and cheese, and one slice is would fill any belly, with a chicken strip or two 😉. Don't think, just order******

We just got takeout from here and Wow it was delicious 😋. We got the Lola , And the Barratta and the spicy tots! Was plentiful, also the pizza dough is the best I’ve ever had!! Great addition to Hoylake..

The food is delicious with good quality ingredients and the portions are a good size. The staff are lovely, some good tunes on the CD player. It's a nice treat.

Have you ordered a good few times now from Three Dollar Bill, every time its been high quality, and always on time too! Used to be opposed to the idea of Detroit style pizzas (tomato on top of cheese? Heresy!) but I now see the light!

Been here loads of times for the amazing pizza, popped in today for breakfast/brunch and loved it! Had the breakfast wrap with a cappuccino and it was freshly made, tasty and fulfilling. Staff were really helpful, having an adult meal for my two girls and attentive at all times. We planned on maybe another coffee and a cake but I just couldn't fit it in! (Unfortunately!) Well recommended.

Easily my favourite pizza parlour. The Detroit style pizzas knock the spots off any other available locally. The presentation is outstanding, the myriad of flavours meld together perfectly. A pizza and a side of potato tots is food heaven. It's a shame the outlet is so small, so much so that we usually get a takeaway. Very highly recommended. Edit following owner's reply: I didn't notice the huge doors at the front! Plenty of wheelchair access. I still feel eating in would be a less-than-perfect experience, Purely from the layout of the tables and the position of the takeaway counter. I'm happier with a takeaway thank you.

Arrived this morning with my heart set on breakfast. I got the American waffles and bacon. Not my usual pick but was glad I did over typical english breakfast. Will be trying the pancakes next time. Great coffee and breakfast and service from Katie .

Very fresh bread, cosy and lovely

This was one of the best meals out we’ve had in a long time! The food was absolutely heavenly, we shared the sausage pizza and the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese and would heartily recommend both. We’ve had to take half the pizza home with us because the portion sizes are so generous! Staff were really friendly and attentive, they made sure we had everything we need. It was just a lovely experience! Would definitely recommend eating in as the atmosphere was lovely. Can’t wait to go again!

Attentive service, the restaurant was busy and the food still arrived quickly and was just as delicious as it was when I came on quieter night a few months back. Fried chicken was great kicker to a half and half pizza. Would highly recommend.

The wait time for food to take away was 25-30 minuets, the brownies were good shame there was no cupcakes or anything else like that, needs to have the menu about a bit more than on a board, the girls at front of house were good but too slow and didn’t even check on the progress of the food or give an update, man from the back came out apologised and offered a seat and a can for the wait, this wasn’t good enough and needs the service to be stepped up to the next level as the place wasn’t that busy for them to make us wait so long for a sandwich and potato tots, overall the food was good but can be done quicker espically with having a co-op over the road.

First time visiting three dollar bill, and safe to say we will be back! The food was absolutely phenomenal, great prices for the portions, and the service was fantastic.

I first came to Three Dollar Bill a couple of months ago in the evening and was blown away by the food, so thought I'd come back and try the lunch menu since it has now opened in the day. I had a jacket potato with chicken mayo and salad. Honestly, it's the best jacket potato I've ever had, cooked to perfection with a great amount of filling. Although full up, I couldn't leave without trying one of the cakes. The sponge was so light and fluffy, really tasty. The owner cooks them herself which explains why they are super fresh and flavoursome. The place has been redecorated recently, and there is a really nice chill vibe with twinkly lights, comfy booths and a great music in the background. The staff were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble, and I think it's reasonably priced given the quality of food and portion size. This place is a real gem. I'll definitely be going back soon.

We've loved the pizzas for a while, but recently went in for their new brunch menu. It was great and will definitely become a regular weekend trip! Delicious food, great for the kids (they loved the pancakes) and lovely staff who were so welcoming. A fab new addition to Hoylakes lunchtime offering.

This restaurant is to die for! The staff are amazing and there’s a real family feel to the place. The chicken is the best chicken I have ever had and coupled with the jerk glaze, it’s life changing 🤣🤣🤣🤣 everything about this place is faultless and if my bank account and belt allowed, I’d be there every night!

My husband and I visited on the first day after their renovation. So impressed with the cosy and inviting vibe.. We ordered lattes and sourdough sandwiches. When the sandwiches arrived with a full plate of the most amazing fries, we soon realised they were too big! We shared the fried chicken one and took the Hog one home for later. I cannot begin to describe how tasty they both were. The bread was so fresh as were the rest of the ingredients. We both said the best we 've ever tasted. We cannot wait to return with our children to sample the brunch! The menu looks incredible. Wishing Amy and the team all the best in their new venture x

Booked a table of 8 for our daughter’s birthday. The staff were amazing, so friendly, made such a fuss of my daughter and all sang happy birthday to her at the end. The service was great, had our drinks within minutes as we ordered food. Pizzas are something else, so delicious and absolutely huge. Couldn’t stop eating the boneless chicken and the potato tots were so tasty. First time at the restaurant but definitely not the last. Thank you for making my daughter’s birthday so special. Can’t wait to come back and try more things from the menu.

Food was unreal. Had burrata and meat pizzas, truffle tater tots, and bbq Mac and cheese, and they were so good, and quite large portions. The service was very friendly and the R&b soul music on in the restaurant made for a really lovely atmosphere and put us in a great mood.

Went here last night for the first time. Got a take away pizza and those little cheesy potatoes! They are something else! Portion size are huge so it’s pizza again tonight! All the other pizza places are just clones, this is different! You need to try a three dollar bill pizza!

The pizzas are big, so if you want sides, share the pizza. And don't miss out on the sides. Just as good as the pizza. And the pizza is GOOD! also, try the hot honey dip.

I picked a takeaway order as I was craving pizza and wanted to try something new. Blown away, absolutely gorgeous Pizza!

Ordered online but decided to eat in, pizza was ready and sides were about 10 mins after. Pizza arrived cold ish, but it was nice. Mac and cheese arrived luke warm, and the chicken on the top one piece I sent back as it looked very pink to me , so didn’t feel comfortable eating it. Tater tots were delicious & hot. We paid separately for our drinks, £6 for 2 cans of coke. Abit overpriced for a can . Average at best & uncomfortable metal seats also.

I had the garlic mushroom and the burrata tots and my partner had chicken strips and meat feast ..we took away most of it and my dad ate it who said it was bloody lovely which is high praise indeed ☺️ 😁, my baby girl loved it. We will be back.

Best pizza in Merseyside for me, quality ingredients and can't go wrong with whatever pizza you pick. Staff are always really friendly and the atmosphere is great inside.

We went on a Sunday evening and ate in, so it was fairly quiet but by no means empty, and it's a small place. I'd seen the photos of the food on social media and it looked amazing, but I've been taken in by that before and found myself disappointed. Not this time, though. We ordered three different pizzas, some chicken wings and some potato tots to share and all of it was absolutely delicious. Especially the pizza, as you'd hope. I've never had Detroit-style pizza before, and I have no idea how authentic it is, but it's sensational. We all really enjoyed it. We'll definitely be back!

I have been to Three dollar bill twice and was highly satisfied both times, the pizza's are absolutely amazing, my favourite pizza place by far. I had never had American pizza before now I absolutely love it. All of the staff are so so lovely and the atmosphere is calm and chill. recommend one pizza between two as they are big luckily they do half-half. love it so much.

Just had takeout whilst staying nearby. Absolutely magnificent grub. Timely service and liked the ambience as I awaited my pickup.

I’m torn with this one because the marinara sauce and tater tots are so good but the pizza just doesn’t work for me. The focaccia is dry and bland and as it’s so thick it takes away from the toppings. I’ve been a couple of times and it’s been the same both times. It’s a shame but just not for me.

I ordered delivery last night and I was very impressed! The pizza took me back to my childhood when I used to eat deep-pan with my aunt. Happy times! The pizza itself was covered in toppings and cooked perfectly. The mac cheese was MASSIVE and enough for 2 or 3 people. Extremely tasty as well! I definitely recommend this restaurant! A+
