So much variety of sweet and savoury. Fresh delicious bread. Lovely, courteous staff and a fabulous family business. Great value for money.

Really good place if you have a sweet tooth, fresh bread daily, amazing sandwiches and very friendly staff. For what you get, the prices are reasonable.

Excellent sourdough bread as well as delicious egg custards and Manchester tarts. Friendly customer service. Well worth a visit. You will need cash to pay.

I have been a customer of Fahys' for some 15 years. Having tried many many other bakers both within the Wirral, the wider North West and further afield, this is without any doubt the most underrated bakery. The products, particularly the bread, are of a consistently high standard. Traditionally baked, it is how bread 'used to be'. Their bread puts these acclaimed 'artisan ' bakers to shame. Given the quality, their pricing is is very low. Customer service is excellent. Would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Fayhs if you want good quality traditionally baked bread. Long may they thrive in this world of 'blotting paper bread'

Lovely home made pastries and also good hot food to take away. I am sent there with a shopping list from family every time I go into Hoylake! Pork pies and baked custart pies are the faves.

The standard of the sandwich fillings are low. The so called chicken was wafer thin, reformed and mushy. Shame, as the bread isn't too bad at all.

Fahy’s Bakery is a Hoylake Institution now. The bread baked there is marvellous as are the cakes, little pork pies and sausage rolls, they sell sandwiches and soup at lunch time. A real family bakery with generations of the Fahy family working there.

The taste of the bread is far better than any supermarket. We need to continue supporting these local bakeries . if not we will lose them for good. I regularly support them on a weekly basis.

Fahys is one of the best known businesses in Hoylake. They provide a wide variety of bread products, savoury products, sandwiches and confectionery items, all of which are made to a high standard. Be warned that if you get there around mid day, a lot of the more popular items will be sold out, especially the rolls, buns and dinkies The savoury pies and slices are always good value and very tasty. The fresh cream cake selection offers generously sized items. The fresh sandwiches look excellent and they also offer hot lunch options.

Plenty of attractive looking produce in stock - but again no GI bread left! (10:13 on a Saturday- the only day of the week it is available apparently) I wonder whether the bakery realises that Waterfields in West Kirby has closed and this has given Fahys an opportunity to gain market share? I'll have to drive to Hursts in Upton to get their (not quite as nice) GI loaf; at least it's cheaper!

It's very difficult to walk past Fahy's without being tempted in by all the cakes and pies on display in the window. The shop has been there for so long and the quality is always the same. We had a cake made by Fahy's for a special occasion and it was great. Keep on Baking!

Fine tradition of the Bakers Shop tradition. Have used the shop for many years and always find their bread and cakes superb. If we don't use it we could loose it.

I have shopped at Fahy's for years. I have yet to find anything they sell that isn't top class. The huge choice of breads is bread like it used to be and stays fresh too. The cakes and pies are second to none. The best bakers on the wirral bar nobe

Always friendly, always fresh and always busy!! This little gem in Hoylake is so worth a visit - good old fashioned butties, bursting with filling and always freshly made. Nothing is too much trouble either. They are quick, polite and very reasonable. Why make them yourselves when Fahys can make them better!?

Have visited Fahy's on many occasions and their bread products are always fresh and tasty. The cakes suit all of the family, from those liking scones and buns to fresh cream cakes and gingerbread for the children. Really well worth a visit, but try to get there early in the day when there is a wide range to choose from.

Very disappointed with our experience here as previously had very lively and entertaining evenings. Staff not trained and atmosphere behind the bar so tense. No music which was disappointing. Will not be returning.

This is not an hotel and we are local regulars at this traditional pub. We particularly like the quiz night on a Wednesday and the delicious pies served.
