The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Tameside North West

Staff lovely and friendly make lovely coffee but I’m not into fried breakfasts so I canto comment . I believe they do Pasta but I’ve never seen anyone with it. To me it is more a coffee bar than a special eating place and a place to chat over a coffee with friends

Great breakfast and nice service everything was tasty and very good. I had a great time. I am glad to see that every costumer enjoyed their dish that prepared. The staff also are very friendly. I really recommend

We visited here a number of times and really enjoyed it. It was good to sit out in the sun at the back of the premises. Unfortunately has now been taken over by a pizza takeaway at the back so nowhere to sit. We wouldnt bother going back now.

Booked for Christmas Day (not a cheap meal) and it was an extremely disappointing visit. The landlord confirmed for 1pm and when we arrived the restaurant was empty. 25 minutes later the waiter informed us food wasn’t being served till half 2. I did show them the message with a 1pm time stated, but they knew nothing of it. We went down to the bar and an hour later the landlord came to tell us to go up to the restaurant. No apology was forthcoming for our wait. Tables were cheaply decorated considering it was Christmas Day and that should have warned us what was to come. When it finally arrived, the food was bland and very poorly presented. Prawn and avocado cocktail was half an avocado and a few prawns on a plate. Christmas dinner was turkey, potatoes, a couple of parsnips and the smallest pig in blanket ever seen! Sprouts and carrots were then unceremoniously plonked on table in cereal bowls. Service was inadequate to say the least and they were clearly new and had had no real training. We then waited over an hour for dessert and they then mixed up the orders. Some people left as they were fed up of waiting. When it was time to pay the balance, I was too angry to say anything. However, I did message the landlord the following day stating I wanted to give him ‘right to reply’ before writing a review. He messaged back an apology saying he was sorry he had forgotten to tell us of the change in time, he also said he had had to intervene in the kitchen and as a result, was now chef-less! He also said he would welcome us back when he had a new chef for a meal (without charge)! The experience would have been disappointing if it had just been a regular meal but the fact it was a special day was also really upsetting. Clearly customer satisfaction is not a priority and I would strongly recommend you choose a different restaurant. Please don’t waste your time and money.

Excellent cafe highly recommend lovely food I know the people who own it and they have excellent service once again highly recomend

Really nice proper pub, went in last Saturday evening for a few pints and was met with outstanding service and a very warm welcome from the landlord and the bar staff, would definitely recommend!!!!

The food was really nice but we waited ages nearly 40mins There was 4 staff and it was empty .we had finished our drinks within 15 mins but wasnt paying another £2.50 for a tiny pot of tea. .Also if you want mayo. The smallest squirt of mayo in a pot.If we hadnt waited so long for our food it would of been nice and sometimes you expect to wait if it was busy but it wasnt when we got there.

It’s the go to place when I meet my dad for lunch or tea. Always great food, drinks choice and a nice atmosphere. Staff are great too. Nothing is too much trouble. Visited again yesterday on the 4th March at lunchtime. I had the Gammon whilst my dad had Fish, Chips & Peas.

This is the first time we have been in the pub in almost three years, in that three years it's change hands and I'm sorry to say not for the better, went in on Saturday evening expecting a lively atmosphere, how wrong can you be! Eight or nine people in lots of bad language and to top it all the price of the drinks no wonder it was almost empty. At 10.30 last orders and told we had to be out for 11.00, the lady behind the bar was putting the chairs on the table at 10.45,talk about not feeling welcome, there was eight of us spending money yet still kicked out at 11.00pm, none of us will be going in again.

The Footage has unfortunately closed down however I am writing this review as a tribute to the business. This year was my first time coming to Footage and I am sad I didn't know about it sooner. Cheap Drinks and Food with plenty of excitement. Our friend group would go every Tuesday for Karaoke and it became a tradition. In between Uni lectures, there was nowhere better to go. Sometimes the place was booming with life from all the sport games being placed. Other times it was relaxed and calm for casual conversation. When I informed our group of Footage closing down, we were all upset as it had become such a routine for us to go to. The people we met, the people we sang with. We shall miss you Footage.
