Burnt Black Teacake thought hslloween joke !! Staff inattentive too busy on phones bought coffee 1 x teacake coffee given over 20mins later by which time coffee cold I had drunk well Teacake arrived Charcoal black hard underneath on top black cheek to serve that no knife no serviette did not want take teacake back little old lady eating next table take back waited 10mins lady behind counter get off her phone face said it all I said cannot eat this no amount butter is covering that up ! She took it away 15mins later( nearly walked out ) New teacake "blamed it on the toaster" Not even a complementary coffee top up by this time no coffee left the 2nd teacake ! Too dry without drink !

Me and my daughter called in for breakfast. We had a latte each and breakfast butties. Can't recommend enough, proper coffee piping hot.. the good was beautiful, cooked to perfection all fresh and tasted amazing! The staff are all lovely, welcoming and friendly. We don't visit Hyde often but would make a trip just to come here again xx

I never received my drink the eggs benedict and sauce weren't even on the food. The presentation was awful and the food was cold. So disappointing I wouldn't recommend.

I never received my drink. The food looked like it had been thrown in the box. It had salad on so I couldn't reheat it without removing it. I took one bite and couldn't eat anymore it tasted vile. So disappointing as I've had nice food from them before.

I’ve been living in Hyde for over two years, always thinking, “This is a nice place, but there are so few restaurants!” Turns out I missed this fantastic little spot! The place isn’t big, but the interior is lovely, and the staff are friendly. We ordered the large English breakfast, and the portion was more than enough! The chocolate milkshake was delicious! I’m just sorry I didn’t find it sooner.

Everything about gracies is amazing, the food is always on point and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The only thing I have to say is the website prices are very different to the prices in the cafe, £5.50 for a gracies breakfast on the website is actually £7 in the cafe itself.

Visited during a girlie catch up. Was very busy. Thankfully the girls were early so they had managed to get a table. Ordered our food, I had a tuna, and red onion panini, and also a portion of chunky chips, was absolutely delicious. Will definitely return.

Young girl school age, being picked on by two other female staff. Uncomfortable and upsetting. Bullies

Lovely small cafe, but I boycott anywhere where they openly bully staff. 2 women , one with those daft lips were slating a school age girl who was run ragged, and then both women berated her in front of me, criticising her , and picking on the poor girl. It was very upsetting and disgusting to see, and not to mention unprofessional . And if that was the owner which I think it was, she is nothing but a vile bully. And I will not visit again nor will recommend it to anyone ever again. Shame on you.

The food was really delicious and the delivery was quick. The delivery driver was lovely and polite.

Hands down the best food I've ever had. Not only that, the service is impeccable. As soon as you walk in, you know you are in the best of hands. Such a friendly atmosphere and the staff are amazing, and go above and beyond for customers. I wish I could eat here and take some time out here every day. 10/10

Terrible service. Sat down and eventually had to get up to be served. Not sure wether table service is a thing in here but I didn’t receive it. Ordered my food and sat back down. When food arrived I watched the young lad walking towards me and just puts it on the table and says absolutely nothing what so ever like enjoy or there u go pal. Nothing. Ha. Not only that he then walks away and I have to shout him back to ask for cutlery to which he points at and says it’s here. He actually walked past the cutlery on way to bringing my food but didn’t have the decency to bring for me when it’s a café absolute terrible service food was ok tho would not return. Not to mention had to pay to park.

Ordered via uber eats. Very well priced cooked breakfast, which was delicious. Orange juice that we ordered wasn’t available, but the cafe was amazing and sent us both apple juice and a fanta, and gave us a cake free of charge to make up for it. Would definetly order again, and would also want to sit in as staff seem lovely. Really recommend.

Very nice brekky, especially when it's 2 for £10. Lovely place to eat, staff were very pleasant. Does get busy so had to wait a little bit but it was worth it.

Great food best cafe food in tameside. And it's tameside prices. Not 5% better trimmings on your burger so it costs £25 instead it's £8 and still awesome 😎

Lovely lil cafe. Breakfast was perfectly cooked and was flavourful without being at all greasy. Also the mango dragonfruit cooler was delicious :)

Lovely little place with good food and friendly staff. I go most Saturdays and have tried a few things and they have all been really nice. Claire who takes the orders is lovely and always has a smile.

Absolutely amazing food 😍 I fancied an eggs Benedict for breakfast, which normally a lot of places can’t get right and I don’t enjoy it. I think I’ve found my new favourite place to order eggs Benedict from! Just wow!

Food was hot fresh and well presented. And tasted delicious. High quality food and definitely made with love. Really enjoyed and will most certainly be ordering again.

The food was lovely, I had bacon on toast which was cooked to perfection. Nice decent bacon on nice fresh bread and was still warm when arrived. Also got a cheese and chutney sandwich which was fresh and presented lovely too.

Delivery on time, hot and very tasty

They got my order wrong. When I tried to correct it, they reduced the portion of the actual order and charged £6.50 for burnt fries and omelette. Staff was extremely rude and ignorant. I will never visit there again and would definitely not recommend!

I recently came here with a friend and my child and we had a lovely experience. Firstly the staff are welcoming and friendly Second the food is lovely! And good value, a kids meal is onyl about a fiver and the portion would have filled me up. The only downside I would have to say is the baby changing facilities as they are not up to my standard. It's just a fold down changer which is fine however it's just in the upstairs hallway which I didn't like it doesn't give any privacy and the toilets are very small making it hard to go to the toilet with a little one. But overall we had a lovely time here and would go again

Nice coffee and large breakfast was worth the money and tasty.

We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast here plenty on the plate there are other options available on the wide range of Menu and a vegetarian breakfast if wanted a lovely comfortable cafe and the staff are lovely well worth a visit.

It seems very busy but only had a cup of tea I'm so boring. It looks very nice. Love the decor though.Next time I will try the food.

Really nice food and lovely staff!

To be honest it was a bit awkward and we won't be returning, even though the food was reasonable. The service was very slow, and it felt like we were the first people ever to come in with a buggy, no help finding somewhere to store it, and we felt quite unwelcome. We persevered and ordered 4 kids meals and 2 adult meals, after a decent wait it turned out they didn't have all the stock for all the kids meals so we changed the order - these things happen but I was surprised to have to wait even longer after that to get our meals, the kids started to get a bit hangry! Also extremely put off by the raw bacon in a box at the bottom of the stairs that we noticed when using the toilets at the end of our meal - probably wouldn't have eaten there had we seen that first.

Two mediocre sandwiches and two teas a bit of coleslaw £13.60.My granddaughter didnt finish hers. Overpriced. Maybe the meals are better. I won't eat here again.

We as a family this morning enjoyed a fabulous Take away cooked breakfast. Deeeelicious. Would highly recommend. Saves a whole lot of work on a Sunday morning and NO washing up. You can eat and then throw the trays away. BRILLIANT. Well done the team at Gracies. You're doing a fabulous job in another Lockdown. Keep up the good work. I'll be ordering Sunday lunch next week 😀 Dawn Miller

Gracie’s café bar and kitchen the moment you walk in you feel welcome and at ease I would highly recommend this to anyone staff are very welcoming food as well prepared and well served I ordered the large breakfast and it was delicious and not a tall Grieser perfect portion sizes would come back again

Visited Gracie's 1st Sept 2020. Had the traditional Eggs Benedict and coffee. The Covid precautions were taken very seriously and I felt very safe. One way system and ordering explained, outdoor seating available, social distancing maintained where appropriate, contact details taken. The Cafe was spotless, including the loo. Poached eggs done perfectly and good coffee too. I've visited a fair few coffee shops since coming out of lockdown and Gracie's standards are very high, I love their food for it's quality and standard of presentation. This wasn't my 1st visit but Covid has made me much more aware of hygiene standards so felt I just had to praise them for their efforts. Well done Gracie's!.

Visited today had a sandwich and cheese on toast, the food was lovely and all the staff were friendly and professional. I would highly recomend Gracies and all safety measures in place, thank you for a lovely lunch

Overpriced for what you get. No one came to clear the tables after we'd finished eating so had to drink coffee with dirty plates on the table. Won't be rushing back and this was only my 2nd visit in 18 months x

Best caffee in Tameside by far. The food is gorgeous, fairly priced and decent portion sizes. I try and go in as often as I can if I have time before work to buy a gingerbread latte. The owner is lovely and the staff are all very welcoming and helpful. The caffee also has a licence to sell alcohol so it doubles up as a cafe and a nice little bar also. If you're looking for somewhere nice to have a coffee and a bite to eat then look no firther you won't be disappointed.

Went for an early breakfast and the food was really good and plenty of extras. Went some time ago and has now been updated, can't wait to go again.

I've seen where they buy and how they make the food. it's a Mickey mouse business trying so hard to be a "niche" little cafe. overpriced, microwaved and store bought food I wouldn't give to my dog.

Along with my wife, and members of my family from time to time, I've been visiting Gracie's for a while. It only seems to improve too. It looks lovely now inside and has plenty of options. The staff, especially the owner, are friendly and welcoming, and I've never had a bad experience. We've had breakfast here, cakes, coffee and tea, and it's always been tasty, well made and quick. In Hyde, where there aren't too many places to grab a nice cup of coffee, this is a godsend. Keep up the great work guys. Lovely.

Beautiful tapas meal. Great value. We paid £13 for two drinks in Manchester last week but here we got a large wine, a pint of beer, freshly baked bread and five very tasty tapas dishes for £25. What's not to like?

The best cafe/coffee shop in Hyde. Good food and friendly service. Now open some evenings as a bistro; not tried yet, but will.

Love this little cosy cafe all hidden away. The only issue i have with this place is the price. It's waaaaaaay too pricey. Left this place feeling annoyed with myself. Although u can't fault the food as they have gone for a gourmet type of cafe, the price definitely reflects on that. That being said as for the space. There isn't much. It's a struggle to get a pram or wheelchair in. There isn't much room to move around. I think they front counter is too big for the size of that room. The service is always good. Food takes a bit longer to come out compared to other places.

We had a lovely evening. Great Tapas menu in the evening, large variety of drinks. A fantastic deal on a Thursdays.

Absolutely love this little cafe! It’s perfect for a spot of lunch, a catchup and even a G&T. It’s a nice small, rustic environment. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious! The portion sizes are very large so make sure you’ve got room!

Last minute trip on a Thursday evening with Family. Last food order was 8pm and at 7.30 they were still happy to seat a table of 5. Food was good, it was a Thursday Night special Tapas menu. Staff were very friendly, attentive and welcoming. Atmosphere was relaxed with other tables eating and some just enjoying a glass of wine. The interior is lovely and makes you feel more relaxed. Recommend for a quick bite in Hyde.
