What lovely people and great coffee. A must visit if you’re walking in the area. Friendly efficient and great staff. And dog friendly.

The toastie we had was super tasty and I really enjoyed it. The bread was fresh and the filling delicious. It was a bit odd that they weren’t served on plates, just in cardboard holders, which made eating them awkward. The venue itself has a cool Scandi feel. Only giving 4 stars on account of the fact that it wasn’t super clean- the toilet was grubby and all the glasses/ crockery were slightly sticky

Nice atmosphere, good coffee and chunky, home prepared sarnies! Will call again and will recommend to family and friends.

Very expensive food and drink. Nearly £4 for a soft drink which they pour from a can. Food tasteless - didn’t feel authentic Italian

Recommended by a local, we booked this restaurant for my birthday. It did not disappoint. Great atmosphere, lovely staff including the owner Francine. The food was absolutely delicious from the complementary canapes right through to amazing puddings. Flavours all delicious. Highly recommend.

Amazing atmosphere and a HUGE range of whiskeys! Was greated by the baa( no pun intended) owner on our 1st visit and was warmly welcomed! Great staff and lots of look at when you are sat down!

We visited yesterday evening after a day hiking up Helvellyn and we was in need of a pub food fix and after all the amazing reviews we thought we would give this place a try.The quality of the food was amazing we had the pigs in blankets and calamari to start and gammon steak for mains and it was cooked to perfection.The staff and Owner were lovely and we even ended up staying for alot more drinks than we should have due to how friendly the staff were and how amazing the atmosphere in the pub. (Sore heads this morning!!)Highly recommend visiting this place we would rate higher than 5* if we could!

Absolutely fantastic place and very friendly. We went twice and the lovely lady remembered our order from the day before. The food was spot on and service was very quick. Would definitely recommend

I had the decaf latte, which was barely drinkable. Not so much a coffee shop (at least to American eyes), more like a little diner.

Lovely staff, especially Holly, and the drinks and chips were ace. We felt really welcome and enjoyed our visit. Thank you.

This is an excellent shop and cafe next door to Windermere train station. The ship is well stocked with high quality items and the cafe offers a decent range of drinks. We took away coffees fit our drive into the Lake District.

Came here for a coffee and later for a drink. Nice outdoor seating which would be good during the summer. A little bit on the expensive side.

Came here for the swallows and Amazon afternoon tea with my daughter and friend. The quality of the food and tea was excellent, the view from the dining room stunning, facilities and decor lovely and the staff in the restaurant who attended to us were wonderful. We considered it good value.
