Nice little cafe at the end of the Tolkien trail. We popped in for an early lunch. Speedy service. Good toastie and egg mayo cob. Generous mug of coffee.

Delicious ice cream and coffee in an idyllic setting. A welcome sit down in the sunshine. Served by a charming lady who was very friendly and welcoming.

If you're a member of a walking group, or just out walking in the vicinity of Hurst Green or Stoneyhurst College, this place is a gem of a find just minutes away at the Gardens at Stydd. They provide super coffee and cakes, plus more if you wish, in comfortable, warm surroundings. The staff are very friendly and super efficient and it was an absolute pleasure to find it. (The Victoria Sponge was in my top three Victoria Sponges, and believe you me, I've eaten many over the years!) I could not recommend this establishment highly enough and will definitely come here again.

Went for the first time and had a really good coffee. In the market and very popular with shoppers. Staff are friendly and good to watch the world go by when having a coffee

What a great find!! The cafe was bustling and that is always a great sign. Fantastic atmosphere with wonderful staff who were so kind and accommodating to cook scrambled eggs for my toddler after the breakfast menu closed. I had the most delicious turkey, cranberry and stuffing sandwich!! Would highly recommend and we can't wait to return. So reasonable too! Thank you!

I was allowed to hold my 70th birthday party here. Tom and Jen allocated half the bar to my guests and I and we had a FANTASTIC time !! The staff were fantastic, they kept the drinks flowing. Tom had advised on the wines which were brilliant. The bar looked great and the whole afternoon was a great success. Thank you Tom and Jen and all the staff.

We were served by Daz and the food was spot on. Top man who helped and offered advice where needed. We had pigs in blankets along with the smothered chicken. It was really tasty.

Looking for a dog friendly pub for a quick weekend lunch we picked here as we’d been before our four legged friend came along. Nice place with warm staff who seemed to work as a real team. On the food front B had Beef, GF had a couple of starters (can’t remember them) and I had a lovely tender steak pie with greens and chips. Baby pooch had an urge to bark a little and false alarm needs to go outside. Really nice place, people and food and we will come back if they’ll have us!

Two night stay. Food, very poor. Accommodation, very comfortable, but the place begun to look a bit tired. Needs some attention. Staff, absolutely brilliant, attentive and very friendly.

Lovely setting,really nice team. We ate lunch and the staff were on point,it was quiet as mid week. The alcoholic beverages are quite expensive but all in all really nice and great location.
