Moor Cafe in Ribble Valley

Found this lovely VERY dog friendly cafe by chance. Great coffee and bacon sandwich, even had a little dog chew menu. The staff were really friendly and attentive, and the prices reasonable. Would highly recommend, we will certainly be back next time we're in Clitheroe.

Found this little Gem in Clitheroe. 1st thing is its doggy friendly but the main thing is the breakfasts was one of the nicest breakfast I've had in a long time. I had regular, my partner had large and both were well cooked and the produce used was lovely. Definitely be back when next in Clitheroe

Great food at reasonable prices for the big portions and ginormous teapot!! Service was excellent.

Build your own breakfast is a great option. Most of the options are very reasonably priced. However £2.50 for 1 slice of toast and butter is ridiculous.

A perfect Sunday full English breakfast, all fresh produce, lovely friendly staff. Great service & value. A little gem.

Lovely local cafe. Had the sausage and bacon roll with a coffee. Perfectly cooked and good tasty ingredients. Served up by friendly, helpful, charming staff. Definitely worth visiting if you're in need of a light bite or lunch.

Called in with some friends today for breakfast whilst visiting Clitheroe for a couple of days. We were looking for something to eat after a wander around the castle, and this place popped on google and was only a few yards away - perfect. Absolutely delighted that we found this place - we had a full breakfast that was simply lovely (and at a reasonable price), the staff were excellent - really excellent and attentive, and we’re only sorry that we’re not staying any longer to pop in for a lunch. Definitely worth a visit if you are in town.

Great spot to eat in Clitheroe! Always love to go there. Service is great.. the young blonde lad who is front of house is a credit to the business, extremely professional and friendly, nothing seems ever too much to ask. Lovely food and great atmosphere.

Called in as raining and with it being dog friendly seemed a nice place. Very nice cafe with pleasant staff. Had a good latte and an excellent piece of chocolate fudge cake with cream. Well priced and good portion size. Would visit again

Had a fantastic lunch at the Moor Cafe with my partner and Puppet the toy poodle. Recommend the 3 egg omelette with ham, cheese and mushrooms. The coffee was really good too. We both recommend this dog friendly cafe, welcoming hosts and we look forward to eating there again soon.

Had a loverly lunch at the Moor cafe in Clitheroe. They made us feel very welcome including our toy poodle. Great food, especially .the omelette and jacket potato. Good cup of coffee too. Recommend this cafe if you’re looking for somewhere which is dog friendly, excellent food and welcoming staff. Looking forward to eating there again.

Stopped here for lunch when in Clitheroe. Plenty of menu choice with reasonable prices and generous portions. The cafe is also licensed. Friendly staff. Would come here again when in Clitheroe.

Now THAT is a FULL, ENGLISH, BREAKFAST! Superb, and very reasonable price too. A very welcoming, homely, cafe with very friendly owners. A really great place to just chill, and start the day anew. Highly recommended.

We went for late breakfast on saturday, around 12, we ordered a full english and the avocado stach with veggie sausages, food was ok but the tomato and mushrooms of the full English were canned ones, not too great. Dish presentation is a bit poor. Service was ok but, had to ask for the table to be cleaned as they were starting to bring our food without having cleaned the table after the previous customers. Being the first time there, overall, it was not welcoming enough or food good enough to make me want to come back.

First class service and a fabulous positive and friendly manner from the young man who took our order. Cafe was full and seems popular. I would go again and try something different from the menu. My full English breakfast was however not great. Fatty cheap bacon and sausages. Eggs well overdone. Beans were sauce less and poor quality. Black pudding wasn't cooked through. The rest was ok. The amount on the plate was generous but the quality wasn't up to standard

Highly recommended cafe in Clitheroe. Great place to eat, food is excellent and portion sizes are so generous. The staff are great with customers and nothings to much effort. A great choice on the menu for everyone including children & some fantastic offers and deals. The cafe is very clean and kept to a high standard. The owners clearly care and know what they are doing. Prices are perfect for the area and for the food you recieve. It's a busy place so speaks volumes. After several visits here it's our 1st choice cafe to go too. Well done Moor Cafe, keep up the great work & don't change what you do!

Had the most amazing Vegan Christmas Dinner..Friday evening You have to book the dates that are advertised in the bistro..but we highly reccomend it The vegan pigs in blankets were the best we've ever had and the vegan chicken slices were amazing The veg was cooked to perfection ..no soggy sprouts...lol We started with tomato soup delicious and so fresh tasting Followed by full Xmas Dinner and I mean full .parsnips carrots sprouts stuffing cauliflower vegan chicken ..gravy absolutely gorgeous Real cranberry sauce absolutely beautiful And the most amazing gin and raspberry vegan cheese cake with vegan cream . The chef went above and beyond to cater for us and certainly didn't dissapoint. The meat xmas Dinner was fabulous also as reported by our friends . I highly reccomend this place for a great value meal in a lovely relaxed friendly atmosphere..dog friendly also.

It's a nice place to visit in Clitheroe close to the castle Service is so friendly and quick. Foods were tasty. Lovely looking interior with plenty of seats available. Prices are very much affordable

I first time came here. So many food to choose from. And I thought price was reasonable,too. Staff were really nice.

Just nipped in for a spot if brunch with my 2 boys and the food was fantastic. I chose from the build your own breakfast..poached egg 👏 the service was excellent, very attentive. The food was delivered on a timely manner. Excellent.

Was just going to have coffee, but saw food being served... opted to try the Cajun wrap...beautifully presented, decent fresh salad and home made coleslaw...what's not to like. Pleasant staff, very reasonable prices too...like I said... a bit of a gem

We visited here for lunch with our 3 children, food was lovely, good sized portions, good value and great service. I would recommend and hope to return next time we visit Clitheroe.

Wow, lovely little cafe. Service was second to non. Friendly, happy atmosphere. Wheelchair friendly. Clean and cozy Toilet nice and large for wheelchair users, baby changing facilities within. Air freshener and small basket of lady 'things' free of charge. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

Came across Moor cafe and bistro by chance. We weren't disappointed. Lovely, little cafe, very clean, including the toilets. We ordered a cappuccino, tea, and two scones, all of which arrived with a smile a rare thing these days....😃 😊. Staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful, polite, and not overly attentive......

Can't fault this cafe ,been here a few times and enjoyed the food all reasonably priced,with warm friendly staff and it is dog friendly, pay them a visit if you are in clitheroe and enjoy

Lovely local cafe with a homely feel and very pleasant, welcoming service. Perfect spot to get breakfast the morning after the night before. And they have excellent brownies too.

Myself and a group of 12 friends were visiting the area for a wedding and Moor was more than accommodating (excuse the pun!). They went above and beyond to ensure the service was quick and food was of high quality. I could not recommend more!

Placed an order simply for coffee and cake. Noticed customers who came in to the establishment after us being served their cooked meal and we were still waiting. 20 minutes after placing our order and paying for it the waiter came to take our order again. Pointing out that it had been placed, we were advised that they had lost the order. Rushing around all the time! Less haste, more speed, less mistakes. We won't be back

Ordered 4 x breakfasts on a busy Sunday morning. Wait was around 15 mins but well worth it. Everything hot and by far the best breakfast I have eaten in a long time. Excellent food and service

A weekend in Clitheroe with Besties called for a good Sunday morning breaky. A quick search found Moor, and we were soon through the door and greeted by the owner and Cookie - a lovely & happy pooch. The food was great, with enough to satisfy meat-eaters and herbivores alike in our troop. The coffees and teas were all good, and the prices fab. The staff were all very friendly, and the place was soon full, showing how popular it is.

The cakes were delicious came with a large pot of tea the staff were friendly and as accommodating as could be lovely place will def be back

Real Gluten Free options, not just cake! Wife had gluten free bacon butty, me a sausage bap. Quality meats from Cowmans butchers just up the hill. No extra charge for sachets of sauce on the tables. Friendly, knowledgeable staff & speedy service. Beautiful decor and a multi-aged buzz in the place. Also openly dog friendly. Wonderful place and on my doorstep!!! (Proper sized teapots too!)

Just called in here for the first time, with my Husband and dog. Had Scampi, chips, peas and salad plus a latte. Eveeything was excellent. Piping hot foid and coffee. Very good portions, very reasonable prices and delicious. Dog loved it too as dig treats freely available. Now our go to cafe in Clitheroe, with our without the dog.

I went on Christmas eve. Struggled to get a table a few other places admitted but glad i did as the food and service was brilliant at Moor. They were very attentive and the food was delicious, i had the breakfast. I would recommend and will be back again.

First time here. Popped in for tea and cake. Reasonably priced and an enjoyable cuppa. Took a while to get served but the young staff are doing a great job and are very pleasant 😀

A dog friendly place that is actually dog friendly, where you can sit inside. Despite checking for dog friendly cafes before walking around town, the 1st two we came across that were supposed to be dog friendly only let you sit outside. Due to the cold weather we carried on before finding Moors, and I'm so very pleased that we did. I disagree with previous reviews about the place, as we couldn't find fault at all. Very warm welcome from the staff, and the best breakfast. I think we've had. The quality of the products was superb and provided us with an incredibly tasty meal indeed. If you happen to be there while th breakfast is available then don't miss out!

The Cafe Manager should stop their dog from begging for food while you are trying to eat. I mentioned this to one of the youth, But he would struggle to fog a mirror. Spoilt my breakfast.

Went for the first time this morning, wanting to treat myself to a Full English. I went for the large and it was spectacular - incredibly generous quantity, quality ingredients, now absolutely my go to place for breakfast in Clitheroe.

Stopped here for lunch on a day out , lovely food and friendly atmosphere. Ploughman’s platter was amazing. Kids meals available on request.

Kerb appeal made me stop at Moor this morning. Once inside I was greeted warmly and given time to browse the choices. I'm kind of picky but the proprietor was wonderful and completely happy for me to order off menu and my food arrived promptly - it was hot, well presented and most importantly delicious! The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient and it was a lovely, relaxing experience. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area. Highly recommended!
