Hotel room (Blue) as described, small but very comfortable. Tasting menu very good, just slightly too long between courses for us. Service excellent.

Very limited gluten free options unfortunately, on arrival instead on going through what l could eat they just put a full allergens menu infront of me that l had to go through myself, when I went to order the man said 'everything is done in the same fryer but that will be ok won't it?' Unfortunately anyone with coeliac disease or an tolerance to gluten will know that is not ok so l just had goats cheese on toast starter as my meal, would not recommend unfortunately, I felt discriminated and felt embarrassed infront of my group of friends.

Closed down, don't waste your time going. This business is no longer trading, it's a shame because it looks lovely. The abbey is still open but not the café

What a find ! The breakfast surpassed all our expectations. We had a full English and avocado/feta egg etc. Both meals were beautifully presented by very friendly staff on hot plates !!! What a treat. I can’t remember the last time I had a meal served on a hot plate. It’s a lovely restaurant and was beautifully warm with a roaring log burner. The staff were exceptional too. We loved it so much that based on the friendliness of the staff and outstanding food we are going to cancel where we’d booked to stay in March and will stay here instead 🤞even though we’ll need to change rooms during the stay it’ll be worth it.

Joe made some unreal espresso martinis. Very chatty lad who made us feel comfortable. Fantastic acoustic guitar performing. Elise was fantastic as well.

False advertisement for starters!! Outside board says £3.80 for a large chips and gravy! Typical tourist price anyway YET INSIDE £5.10!!!! Just for a large chips and gravy!!!! Shameful. Preying on tourists. Walk up the road and explore more reasonable prices cafes ECT

We visited the cafe this Sunday. We checked the google timings before we set off. Timings were from 10.00 to 4.00pm. Reached there by 2.00pm and surprisingly the cafe was closed. Extremely disappointed. The timings on the entrance said the same time for Sunday. We were more annoyed as we drove almost an hour to reach Skipton. Won’t be going again.

Only looks like a village shop from the front but inside there's plenty of tables and a lovely garden. Never imagined that I would get excited about a sausage sandwich but the sausages were perfectly cooked and the sourdough bread was great.

Very clean and tidy pub with friendly staff.

Previously only been for coffee and cake but 6 of us had lovely meals yesterday: prawn curry, chicken curry, Singapore noodles, roast beef dinner, shredded ok sauce beef : every meal was excellent.

As a visiting publican I can honestly say that Iain and Jo really care for their pub. Good selection of drinks and lovely atmosphere. Although a pub for locals it's really well worth a visit.

Went for our tea as stuck in the road work traffic. Lovely welcome treats for our dogs and plenty of attention. Lovely pint of Thwaites bitter, and the boss had her usual.bucket of pinot. I had the gammon, and to be honest, it was the best piece of gammon I've had in ages, and the chips were excellent. The Boss had the Chicken Burger, and she loved it as well as the seasoned fries. Lovely well presented food and nice sized portions, not too big and not too small. Bob on. All in all a cracking dog friendly pub with good ale and food

Tuvimos reuniones con Debbie, ella parecía profesional, así que eligió para hacer todo nuestro catering y bar para nuestra boda. Cuando llegó el día los problemas eran interminables. Ella suponía que era suministrar manteles vajilla y cubertería y organizar el día antes, cuando nos llamó a su chica dijo no estoy ocupado estaré allí mañana. Tuvimos que ir y pedir prestado algunos manteles/sábanas de un amigo! Llegó el día, estaba desaliñada (en ver a través de botines! ), desorganizado, y groseros conmigo - la novia, estaba indignada! Pedimos té y café durante todo el día, ya no bebo, no lo logré. Pedimos un surtido bar con hielo y el personal del bar: no lo logré. Nos horrorizamos cuando llegamos a nuestros huéspedes, DJ y hombre intentando ayudar su carpa organice. Tuvimos que enviar a los huéspedes a comprar bebidas para los niños - quedó de suministro demasiado, afortunadamente algunos de nuestros clientes nos trajo su propio! Pedimos té por la tarde, compramos algunas manky buttys seco con el rancio, no costras mantequilla o crema para los bollos. Ella prometió vajilla y cubiertos y vasos para un brindis, nos dieron una cuchara y un cuchillo, una taza de té (rotos) y una placa lateral - que mis clientes tenía que ayudar a poner y deberían haber hecho el día anterior, no había vasos llegamos. Cuando llegó la noche Buffet de mis clientes fueron interrogados y dijo "te he tenido algunos 'cuando fuimos para un segundo ayudando - habíamos pagado! Arruinó mi día y el estrés me dejó indignada tras la planificación de nuestro día por un año y gastar una fortuna con ella! Si vas con ella - conseguir todo lo discutido por escrito - Debbie es una responsabilidad total!

My friend was going to an auction and going to have her tea at the auction cafe. Cafe clean and very basic. The food was amazing. Good basic well cooked staple recipes. I had lasagne. My friend had shepherds pie. Was absolutely gorgeous. You could have it with chips, beans, peas or gravy - or all the lot! Plate full and cup of coffee £4.50 Can take out so I am going to get some for my freezer. Beats supermarket ready meals. Did not study the menu but noticed plate pies and sausages. Puddings and cakes looked good too.
