Went for our tea as stuck in the road work traffic. Lovely welcome treats for our dogs and plenty of attention. Lovely pint of Thwaites bitter, and the boss had her usual.bucket of pinot. I had the gammon, and to be honest, it was the best piece of gammon I've had in ages, and the chips were excellent. The Boss had the Chicken Burger, and she loved it as well as the seasoned fries. Lovely well presented food and nice sized portions, not too big and not too small. Bob on. All in all a cracking dog friendly pub with good ale and food

Called in to see what was diffetent in the reopening of the Stork. Lovely welcome for us and our two dogs. The place looks really bright and welcoming. The addition of big tele and pool table. The reupolsteted seats were teally comfy. We only had drinks, but the food we saw served looked amazing. My pint of Twaites Ribble Valley was scrumptious and the boss enjoyed her Pino Will deffo be back for some food. The staff were very attentive and good for a.bit of banter

Had to pay a visit and welcome the new Landlords. Fantastic news that it is now Dog friendly and turns out it's the same people who have the White Hart at Sabden. It was quite busy with being Easter Saturday and nice to see a few Dogs in. We just had drinks but the menu looks very nice. We saw some food being served and it looked to be the same standard as the White Hart which is excellent. Will definitely be back, this time for food.

It's a traditional place with decent grub at a good value price. I will pop in again next time I'm passing and have a beer in their beer garden.

Parked on the large car park across from the the Stork and passed a board outside saying lovely home cooked food. Ordered a pint of beer and a Diet Coke and sat to look at the menu and glance at the specials board. The menu is limited but promises locally sourced ingredients and the specials board only had a couple of other choices, one of which was sausage n mash with onion gravy. I ordered the Sausage n mash and my wife chose the Lasagne. Got to say very dissatisfied with both meals and also the pint of beer. The sausages can only be best described as bulk buy catering sausages normally found at a road side cafe, the mash was obviously premade and not warmed up properly and the less said about the over cooked tin peas and over cooked carrots the better. The gravy was watery powdered stuff with some onion added... My wife's lasagne honestly looked like a £1.89 Aldi microwave meal for one that had been flung onto a plate with a salad and some garlic bread.... to add insult to injury we were massively over charged and had to challenge the barmaid on the price which was uncomfortable..... The earnest Aldi or Lidl is where I think all the ingredients are locally sourced.. We will stick to going to the swan with two necks in Pendleton in future Thanks for reading and I would love the Owners to read this and improve because they have a lovely little pub and the potential is massive if the get it right

this is a lovely little pub, with lovely home cooked food. The menu has plenty for everyone, and there is a specials board each day..the staff are very friendly and accommodating. . Whilst there is a large car park across road, it can be a bit tricky crossing the road at bust times.

Very pleasant surprise as we walked into the Stork. What a lovely Traditional village pub. Very warm welcome, lovely log fire and nicely decorated for Christmas. Had a nice bit of banter with the staff as we ordered food. Not too long to wait for our food and I have to say, it was very nice indeed. Nice portions and well cooked. We were given a 10% discount voucher for our next visit, which was very nice. The log fire was lovely and cosy and certainly contributed to the warm friendly pub. We will definitely be back, and not just for our 10% discount.

Friendly staff affordable and great food. Well worth a visit. The gammon is amazing but the coleslaw makes the meal.

I wish I could be more complimentary about this roadside inn, the young staff are very friendly and welcoming, the interior is cosy, if a little dated as a pub should be, the menu is good basic food, the prices are spot on, service is prompt and efficient, the food is obviously 'home-cooked'. They deserve to be busy. There was just something lacking. My salad was varied and ample, especially with chips. The breaded fish was slightly overcooked leaving the outside rather hard. The only complaint.Minor quibbles but there must be better eateries locally. For 'home-cooked' food at a decent price this pub is fine but if you want interesting food look elsewhere.

We live locally but heard that Greendale had changed ownership and wanted to try it out. We’ve since been several times for brunch and lunch and keep going back for more .. If plain menus and ordinary fare is your preference maybe it won’t suit, but if you favour culinary flair and a point of difference to the norm Greendale is definitely worth a visit. They support local producers offering a small but interesting menu. There’s always a specials variation & everything is homemade. They have an alcohol licence and even pair some of their meals with various beverages as an option. The coffee is gorgeous, & served with a little homemade shortbread… what’s not to like A little Gem right on our doorstep, with great service and ambience into the bargain! 🤗

Very friendly and welcoming staff who did all they could to accommodate the disabled gentleman I was with. For the first time ever in a cafe/restaurant I was asked if he would like a different type of mug for his coffee so he would be able to hold it better. They a wide range of food available, we will be back
