Relaxing atmosphere with good value meals with large portions. The steak rag pudding was delicious with its fat chips, jug of extra gravy and mushy peas. It is a shame that there are no fires especially when its grim outside.

We went to the Greyhound Inn for Mother’s Day and had the roast dinner, it was absolutely delicious. The beef was tender & vegetables cooked to perfection. It was the first time here but not the last. All the staff / servers were really friendly and on the ball. The beer garden is huge too and as it’s high up in the summer will be even more perfect. 12 out of 10.

The food wasn't good at all. I had three tapas - salt and pepper squid, Louisiana fried chicken and bang bang cauliflower. I'd actually ordered guacamole but didn't complain as I quite like cauliflower. I rarely have deep fried food, but when I do, I like it hot, golden and crispy. All three of these were lukewarm, dark brown and crunchy. The squid was billed as 'with garlic mayo' but that turned out to be half a teaspoon of mayo smeared on one of the squid pieces. A pity, as the service was great - friendly, chatty and food arrived promptly. And value-for-money was excellent, for the tapas as described on the menu. It's just a shame the food itself was borderline inedible.

I absolutely love the roast dinner here. I always get the beef roast, the Yorkshire puddings are amazing and I love the caramelised onion sauce. The portion size is just right and the roast potatoes are crispy. I’ve tried a lot of places for a roast but the Swan Inn is unbeatable. The atmosphere and staff are really nice too!

Have had many great meals at The Willow Tavern. Service always friendly and spot on. Staff genuinely want you to enjoy your time there. Lovely beer garden for warm days and nice eating area inside. Parking to side of pub and bus stop a few feet away.

Food was lovely, came fast, and was very hot. We had the cheese & onion pie with chunky chips and beans. A kids cheese burger with fries, and desserts all the food was delicious and the service was great and the staff were really friendly & helpful. This is our first visit but it won’t be the last.

the owner is up her own back side, she's rude and I would think that after being donated 25k by the public she wouldn't be such ignorant person

The Door man insulted a woman and manhandled her She was upset and in her early 60s vile bully’s Stay clear of this place it’s well know for this type of behaviour but first time I’ve witnessed it.

I rate this 10 out of 10 it is amazing staff are really kind the food is amazing I would recommend this to anyone the coffee is amazing and they have nice sweet treats

Try a Lodes Brioche so delicious. Soft sliced brioche bun filled with custard and chantilly cream. Also the large sponge cakes filled with custard and topped with white icing and chopped nuts i dont know what their called i call them vanilla circles.

Went 2 weeks ago on a Saturday with my partner. 2 staff both female made me feel very uncomfortable. Not good customer service no interaction basically just throwing out dirty looks.

Came for a family meal for the first time and was made to feel welcome by the staff kara was especially helpful with my fussy eating child nothing was too much trouble she was kind and helpful

Decided to give the pub an other try as heard it’s recently been taken over and refurbed. It did not disappoint. The decor is tasteful. The food was the best I’ve had there. I ordered the burger and my friend the steak. Both of which were delicious, well cooked and reasonably priced. Didn’t book and were immediately sat down, service was great. I would had given 5 stars but the cherry Bakewell desert which sounded delicious was in fact a dried bit of Bakewell a few dried almond scattered on with poor quality vanilla ice cream. I don’t usually have desert but it sounded so nice - Will skip this next time. Well worth a visit.
