Very very slow service. Also very loud music which is constantly playing in the background and makes talking difficult. They have posters everywhere advertising knitting groups and this that and the other. They would do better to just improve the speed of their service, which was incredibly slow. We waited 30 minutes for bacon and eggs. The food is nice enough, but quite pricey.

Excellent meal with good staff and atmosphere.

We have visited molino lounge many times in the past and enjoyed our visits, even though sometimes it may take a while to be served however today’s experience has solidified a no return from our family. As we entered we were greeted by a polite member of staff who let us sit anywhere and as advised we used the QR code on the table to place our order. The drinks arrived, 25 minutes after we ordered them. Coffees, cold. The food arrived 45 minutes after we ordered, again cold, I had to ask the waitress for the remainder of my food as she had left it sitting on the side. Mid way through our meal I decided to get a cold drink from the bar and stood for 15 minutes waiting to be served, one member of staff behind the bar making online orders and 2 others delivering food, there was no interaction, not an “I’ll be with you soon” “please bear with us” I stood and waited and to be honest I felt invisible as the 3 staff members walked around even after I addressed someone. Shambles. More staff needed as they cannot keep up with the rush hour.

Only popped in for a drink, beer was nice and cold on this rare warm day. Did not order food but aromas smelled good. On this day some new staff were being trained so service was a little slow but still friendly. Use this normally for a central meet up point before a night out.

Gorgeous gluten free varied menu.I visit with friends and also work colleagues as they cater for all dietary requirements.The staff are very helpful especially Chloe who’s friendly and hardworking

Absolutely hats off! What a fantastic place. I seriously can't wait to come again. Do they have musicians playing in the evening it would be so cool. Reminded me of the bars in district 2 Vienna. The food was beautiful, Service came with a smile and the decor I Absolutely loved. I sent picture to my interior designer friend. Well done. And in Oldham about time a decent place

Called in for a quick meal before going to a gig. food was lovely, we got 6 tapas dishes which were all lovely, the chicken wings especially were delicious, nice friendly staff too. will definitely go again.

My Dad and I called in last night, after a long time away. He was very pleased with the Tapas Tuesday offer and there was friendly service from Molly & Tilly (sorry if those names are wrong!) There was a slight delay/mix-up with my burger but it was sensibly resolved (and very enjoyable when it arrived) Will keep this place in mind when next passing though Oldham

Only popped in for a drink was surprised to see it so dead on a Saturday night. Staff were friendly drinks are a little over priced for what they are.

Really enjoyed this place, reasonably priced and really tasty food! Had the flatbread and sweet potato fries! Great for a week night, relaxed atmosphere.

Only ever had takeaway from molinos oldham, we have had 4/5 takeaways food had been great all but once, bang bang cauliflower was burned and 1 portion missing, it ws really busy so didn't call back. Also I have stood waiting to be served while I can see my bags of food going cold but have a go it's rather nice 😋

Good food, although was very busy and staff forgot to bring a couple of drinks we purchased, did refund us. Would go again

Not been here for years, used to be good so we tried to order through Deliveroo, Molino Lounge accepted the order at 9.15, then they cancelled it at 9.55! Can't tell you if the food is still good, but the customer service is very poor.

Nice food and pleasant surroundings. Didn't realise places in Oldham let dogs in! There was a lovely dog at the next table who was really well behaved. Lots of dog treats available too.

Met up for a meal 1 gluten free 1 vegetarian and 3 others every body was happy with their meals lovely atmosphere and reasonable price this was the first time we have been my husband really enjoyed his cowboy burger we will definitely go back a new favourite in Oldham There are vegan options on a different menu and vegetarian on the main menu a lot of choice plus lots of gluten free which is a big bonus

The review is mostly based on the food and service, because as far as atmosphere goes, we went there for breakfast on a rainy Monday morning, so not much atmosphere to speak of; but the place has good vibes. The food was delicious and the server accommodating to our requests and questions. I had the vegan breakfast with a sausage as extra, and it was all tasty. Also very impressed with the vegan selection overall, spoiled for choice, which is still a fairly rare occurrence.

Appallingy slow service and overcooked food.

Great selection of vegan food. Had a selection of 3 small plates which were all tasty. They were able to accommodate a vegan milkshake too. The place was clean with friendly staff. A decent price for portions and a variety of both food and drink choices. They had a separate menu for vegan and gluten free choices.

More bar esk than a restaurant but servers were friendly an OK place to stop and get a meal

Fab food very chilled atmosphere

Molino lounge is a new bar that is set in the old police station under the old town building. It appears to be quite a trendy place with friendly staff. A good choice of ales and also cocktails. I believe the menu and food is nice but have not eaten here

Just been in for drinks a few times and never fails to disappoint, not rowdy so can have a nice conversation. Staff extremely friendly and the whole establishment clean and welcoming.

The food was lovely and as it happens after not being sure the chicken is halal, so next time I will be able to please my whole team. The decor Is lovely and the chairs are comfy so even nice for a quick bite or a coffee.

I only gave the food a two because there's no halal food. Oldham is a diverse place. There should be something for everyone. I went with a large group of work colleagues and only got a drink whilst the others enjoyed hot food. More hala on the menu, please.

I'll keep this simple. This is a fantastic place to eat. The décor, staff, food, and everything is spot on. Highly recommend!

Can’t describe how fantastic this place is. Came last Saturday with friends and Georges and all the staff behind the bar treated us so kindly, like we were family. Food was equally as amazing: would highly recommend the burgers as the one I had was so tasty! I will definitely be back. Thank you everyone who works here.

My last 3 restaurant visits have all been the same, cook / prepare the bulk of the food off site fry and plate up to a specific house style, add salad and squeeze on some sauces out of a bottle. The food its self is fine, but has no soul, style and tastes manufactured. However, we had nice lunch and when ordering we asked for 2 potato and it should have been 1 potato and 1 sweet potato fries, when the manager came over we told him and he gave us another free portion of fries - thank you. The restaurant is set out as a miss / match restaurant of mixed furniture and tables and provides a nice feel, the food took about 35 minutes to arrive off the pass - a bit long for 4 meals in an lightly loaded restaurant. Would I eat here again - why not, its quite reasonable per person, easy eat food, and has no pretentions.

Went for lunch on Friday. Staff really welcoming and helpful. Food for all 3 of us was served promptly was delicious! I lovely relaxed meal out - would highly recommend!! 💪

The unbeatable £5.95 lunchtime deal with panini and soup is served in good quality. And the decorations in the cafe is lovely which is worth a visit.

Eat here weekly, best place for vegan food in the area and full gluten free menu for those looking. Also dog friendly and ours loves coming too.

Been here a couple of times now really quirky decor and a cool vibe to the place I’m big into my coffee and their coffee is fantastic I believe it’s South American . Also every time I’ve been the food is brilliant highly recommend the best cafe / eatery in central Oldham

Food was nice. I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was well cooked. Hot when arrived and tasted good. Service was good. Not intrusive and polite when interacting. Due to the time of our visit the atmosphere was quiet and there was no interaction with any one outside out party. Just people having a meal with their people.

Been here lots of times and never been disappointed. The only thing I'm not too keen on is dogs in the restaurant while we're eating. Other than that the service is great and food is delicious

Mediocre food, had the Korean burger which was lacking flavour, eggs Benedict which was great, and tapas. We were given one of the wrong plates for the tapas but this was quickly fixed. The quesadilla was good but the rest was subpar. Nice atmosphere and good service though

Had to switch things up for dinner and this was a recommendation by a good friend since the weather was decent we came in to order food and sit outside. It's done by the on-line method which I'm not too keen on as it takes time going through to the payment method rather just tap and pay... Having tried the other restaurant at the top smoke yard my initial thoughts on the burger quality and size had been tarnished somewhat but as you can see by my photos the burger has a decent size. The flavour and quality also surprised me and I made a good choice also recommended or encouraged by my friend. The only let down was the water which is bottled at £2.45 and only 330ml.o have to call it robbery. 750ml is £4.50 which means one could buy an actual 24 pack of bottled water. Think that needs revising but apart from this good experience and will return again with my own water ahaha.

I think this place is beautiful. The staff are really nice. And I always love the food. Recent favourite has to be the Lounge eggs with mushroom and spinach. Loads of vegetarian options. Their fresh orange juicy is really nice too.

Have eaten here many times and it’s always great. Very reasonable prices and great service, never disappoints!

Love Molino lounge. Visited a little over a week ago for the first time in a while and it's still fabulous. Food is excellent, menu is varied and offers vegetarian and vegan options, all at reasonable prices. Excellent, friendly service too. Highly recommended.

The jewel in Oldham's crown. Independent, cosmopolitan artisan cafe/bistro. Menu catering for all different palates and wonderful food served efficiently by friendly staff. I don't get her quite as often as I would like, something I must change.

Don't get me wrong the food was nice. However a waitress dropped 2 drinks in one of our bags and pretty much ruined the bag and it's contents. Accidents happen but there was no real apology or an offer ie discount off food or desserts etc as a way of an apology. Wouldn't visit this one again maybe just go to the Bury branch.

Been here a couple of times always get a veggie breakfast. The cheddar fritters are excellent. I always get a large orange juice with no ice, which comes in the usual large glass with no ice. Last time i went here i asked for the same and he proceeded to give me a small glass with no ice and told me thats what a large is. But if I’ve paid for a large I expect a large glass of orange juice, not half filled. After standing my ground and telling him this is what i always get and has never been an issue before, he then gave me a proper large orange juice (didn’t seem to happy about it) bit unethical if you ask me. Nowhere does anyone give you a large drink in a small or medium cup because you asked not to have ice. Not been back since. Edit: doesn’t let me reply to you, but was the usual manager who works there, wears glasses foreign accent, tubby.

Food here is top quality, friendly staff who were quick to explain that they couldn't make one of the cocktails we ordered as they didn't have one of the spirits but could make it with an alternative

It was my birthday today and my partner and I went for Tapas, I commented when ordering another wine that it was my birthday and we were given 2 desserts and a glass of wine complimentary I could have been lying , I wasn’t but what a lovely way to end the evening Well done

An amazing place to stop for some lunch or maybe just a drink. The pink lemonade is a lovely refreshing drink on a hot summer day.

Unfortunately this was my first visit, they had no Bacardi or no Brandy so we didn't stay and have any food not a very good first impression for me

Didn't eat, went in for a drink while my daughter was at the music centre. Staff are always lovely and welcoming. Wine is a bit pricey, but this price isn't set by the location as it's a chain restaurant.

I asked if the breakfast sausages could be replaced for veggie sausages. The waitress taking the order shouted her manger over (Paul) and asked him. His response “no” he didn’t explain why or even suggest they could but the price would be more. He just looked at me angrily and said “No” then walked off. I suggest malino lounge get some people skills training for their managers.

Disappointed with the portion. Ordered a Nasi Goreng, it was genuinely very nice but the portion was so underwhelming considering the price. I didn't even touch it and decided to go ask the server if the portion can be more as it seems really small. The server said no and was unwilling to help. Just a bit disappointing really and I don't usually bring back food for a query. I was in a party of 5 and I finished my food first even after walking back and forth, tragic 🤣

Have been using molino lounge regularly since it opened. But I'm affraid the recent change to the management team as done it no favours. The service quality as plummeted, I feel sorry for george and the rest of the longer serving team who still do their best but are let down by others. Recently the breakfast as been served tepid, beans and mushrooms cold on arrival hash browns burnt but cold inside the only thing hot was the sausage. Was served by the manager a few weeks ago just a coffee, waited thirty minutes for it and had to ask another member of staff for it. No it wasn't busy only two other diners and they were eating when I arrived.

Very VERY slow service, 50 mins to get a breakfast ( not good ), cold food, cold plates, over cooked bacon, cold undercooked eggs ( no choice of egg style ). Cappuccino dangerously too hot. Staff very miserable. Once and once only for us.

Top place for a large family group. Hip deco and vibe. Worldly gamut of dishes. Surprized, all the tapas dishes were good and good plus. Brisket yum, squid tasty, good balls and good sense of hummous! We ate it all. Patatas Bravas least good IMO though above average (tip: Freshly-fried, hand cut square chips, lightly browned and crispy in clean sunflower oil and don't use tinny tasting tomatoes). Drinks were pricey and some disappointment about coffee and wine but I had water :) Everyone in our birthday group was satisfied! Thanks 😌 Access challenging for Queen Bee OAP as no roadside entrance from rear street.

Seen good reviews so had to try not many gluten free places around and they had a good selection of food for GF ..went here with my boy and what a great meal we had both finished our plates so chilled and relaxing and staff was very friendly definitely be back

The service was absolutely outstanding, when we got a tad lazy and ordered drinks via the app they came practically straight away. The food - THE FOOD?! We ordered the tapas, such incredible flavours, can't believe I've been a local for a year and never stumbled across this place. The decor is beautiful too. My only suggestion would be wet wipes after tapas but to be honest if they served us with the blue paper towels from school I would still come back. Thank you for a wonderful evening 10*

Love going for food and drinks to Molino Lounge. The service is always friendly and quick and the food is always yummy.

Food was, at best, mediocre. Service was great and a great little spot to meet. Horrendous to find with all the redevelopment of spindles tho. Absolutely zero signage to suggest they were there, or actually open.

We were looking for somewhere to dine when we came across Molino Lounge. What a lovely place!...The only tiny issue I had was due to the lighting being quite low I struggled to read the menu. We had a great meal though, and the staff are all lovely, definitely recommend Molino 😊

Came here for a pre-birthday meal. Good and service was spot on. I really don’t think there’s a better place in the vicinity at this price point. A great variation of food available including vegan, gluten free and they are also super cautious with allergens which is helpful to see. The menu has a wide variety of food from around the world, including Tapas, steak, Thai style and much more. Staff are extremely helpful and cannot do enough for you. A great atmosphere and vibe to the place to say it is situated in the centre of Oldham, you certainly do not feel like you are there. The only thing that I could nit-pick would be that our food came extremely fast. Which for the vast majority of people is great, however as a type 1 diabetic It was difficult to time my insulin correctly. However I am sure if I had made you aware, the staff would have accommodated. It was that good me and my girlfriend returned on Monday morning to try the brunch. Would highly recommend.

Called in early Friday night ....granted it was busy ... however 2 members of staff whom I assum were senior members of staff were doing a lot of moving about when the queue was 12 deep ....why 1 or both could not of gone behind the bar to help the staff who were working extremely hard ...it took my partner 20mins to get served at the bar .....we come in here often but on no particular time and would normally not mind waiting however the back ground music is not loud but pounding repetitive and very annoying ....when I asked the manager if he could change it he said no as all the company has the same sound .
