Try a Lodes Brioche so delicious. Soft sliced brioche bun filled with custard and chantilly cream. Also the large sponge cakes filled with custard and topped with white icing and chopped nuts i dont know what their called i call them vanilla circles.

Absolutely Outstanding! A Great local and family run bakery. I have visited this Robinson’s a few times now and the food has always been so tasty and fresh.

The best bakery in the whole wide world! Amazing pies, cakes and breads at decent prices. All made on the premises. The Beef in Guinness pies are outrageously good and the Eccles cakes are...well...I could marry one I reckon.

We are lucky to live locally to this great family run bakery - famous for their sourdough. My favourite are the barm cakes :) Extensive range of lovely fresh bread and sweet treats. They also do lots of pies and quiches. The shop itself is really enticing - it is hard to resist a home made cake - and it feels good to shop local. A real asset.

I purchased a sandwich for lunch but bit into a large piece of lettuce heart which spoiled the otherwise nice sandwich Worthy of note though is the additional shelves, counters and fridges on the customer side, all lit up with fairy lights making it look a little like a christmas market not a bakery - a little hard on the eye. Just my opinion.

Preordered a sandwich to collect. Only had a Scottish £10 in my pocket and left my phone at home as it’s only 5 mins away in the car. Told me they only take English money. This was after standing in the queue for about 10 minutes too because they still have covid rules in place where only 2 people are allowed in, yet touch your food and cash with the same gloveless hands. I’ll spend my money elsewhere

I attempted to entry the shop yesterday and the young girl behind the counter was very rude the way she spoke to me regarding masks, I was not aware I needed a mask so I went and got one out of my vehicle to return and I was still spoken to like a child. We are aware that some businesses adhere to mask wearing and I am quite happy to do this but to be asked in a better way. On my return with my mask I was then spoken to again in a very rude way regarding only two people in the shop. This employee need to learn some customer service skills. In the end I walked out without purchasing anything.

Called in last Wednesday at 10.15am I am a regular customer calling in for my elderly mum who has shopped at Robinsons since Arthur was in charge. Most weeks at this time there are only ever a little of most things but last wednesday I could not believe there was no bread rolls left at all. Having put up with the lack of pies, madeira cake and jam tarts and having to wait a long time to pay due to one till that the girls all have to use this was the final straw I will now transfer my custom to Martins Bakery which is close and of good quality and has a good supply of products and two tills.

Honestly it is a long time since I walked into such a nice bakery. The lady that served me was really kind, I was spoilt for choice and the food I bought was really tasty.

Worst sandwich shop around for standing in line, only one ever person serving, staff look like they don’t want to be there, everything is such an effort, always a queue, when you eventually get served the food is ok, pies are nice

Usually love your pies but today’s meat and potato was tasteless. Had to throw in the bin. Did the baker forget the seasoning ?I travel from far so wouldn’t have got chance to return it.

Simply the best bakery I have ever visited. They have everything you can imagine and more. Last time I got some traditional oven bottoms that I haven't seen anyone else making they're an oven bottom with dimple in the top making the center slightly denser, perfect for a juicy pulled pork sandwich. Their Manchester tarts are legendary around these parts too and I could easily polish off half a dozen to myself.Wether it's a box of treats for you and the family like...rum truffles, Eccles cakes, chocolate fudge brownie, fruit flapjack, cream cakes or your everyday essentials like bread and muffins, the choice and quality will have you coming back again and again.Be sure to follow them on Facebook and Instagram you will not be disappointed.

So lucky to have this gem on my doorstep. Not only can you get your breakfast baps, lunch and pies and an exceptional No of sweets and pastries (everything hand made) the thing that makes Robinsons so exceptional is the bakery. From traditional crafted loaves to low GI and artisan seeded varieties. As doo as you walk in the aroma reminds me of years gone by when there were so many local bakeries. This place has survived and prospered through the high quality of its products and dedication of its staff. Always a pleasure to pay a visit and come home ready to enjoy our purchase.

The food here is very nice, but the sausage roll fillings are a big let down and final negative comment get a better quality margarine / butter spread on the sandwiches it is also a big letdown. Is it worth buying from here yes, but some of the staff are well not very efficient.

Really enjoyed our meal here. It was our first time visiting this cafe, but I have to say it won’t be our last. I have absolutely no complaints. The staff were professional, efficient and friendly. The food and drinks were exceptional and the hygiene was excellent. The place had a lovely atmosphere and you felt welcomed and not rushed. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food provided. And the menu provides something different to the other cafes in the village.

Went to the Muse for a work's party. The food was really good, and the service was quick, considering it was Mad Friday. I found the bathroom tiling to be a herringbone effect with 4mm black grout (7/10). It happened to be a Pride party, which was quite entertaining.
