Bought a wowcher voucher for breakfast after reading revews. We were told it was fully booked for our chosen time but on arrival, we were the only ones there! Staff were very friendly and brought our breakfast quickly but it was not as we expected. Tinned mushrooms were bland but worst of all were the two rashers of rock solid bacon that must have been left standing for hours. Maybe it was a one off but certainly not a good experience.

I had falafel with chili sauce, sweet potato fries and homemade slaw.They have an amazing menu and the taste of food is also delicious.The food tastes really good.The staff were also friendly and attentive.I would really like to visit it again. Horrifying Stay – Bed Bugs! I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. We booked to stay at this hotel. Check in was fine and we dropped our bags in the room and went straight out. We arrived back at the room at 12:30am and found bed bugs in the bed/mattress. Absolutely disgusting. We immediately went to the desk and requested to be moved only to be told there were no other rooms available. We were told at check in reception was open 24 hours however it was only security on the desk when we went to speak to them. Security rang the manager Meg who seemed indifferent and offered no real apology or refund. Her solution was to give us access to the linen closet to re-make the bed ourselves and a discount on our next stay. This was completely unacceptable and we had to arrange alternative accommodation. I expect basic cleanliness and hygiene from any lodging, and this was a complete failure. Not only is it unsanitary, but it’s a health hazard. I had to wash and disinfect everything I brought with me, and I'm still dealing with the aftermath despite not evening staying in the room itself. Avoid this place at all costs.

Visited today for the Sunday roast — unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The roast beef consisted of just three pathetic slices, each barely 1 mm thick. I honestly put more meat in my sandwiches at home. Definitely not worth the money.
