Sketch Bar in Liverpool

Quería venir como solía beber en el Lord Warden que era el nombre antiguo para el pub. El chico detrás de la barra era realmente genial y amable y me dieron un descuento en las bebidas que era amable. 50 para dos Madri era justo para la ciudad. Está en una buena ubicación cerca de la Academia O 2 y la estación Like Street. La decoración es genial y todo el mundo disfruta de una máquina de discos gratis. Lamentablemente los baños estaban sucios y realmente necesitaban ser limpiados. La selección de cerveza era muy básico y mi Madri no era muy agradable. La mejor selección era casi inexistente y los refrescos provenían de latas. Los asientos eran muy incómodos. Por lo que he oído, el chico detrás de la barra acababa de tomar el control, así que espero que le dé la vuelta, pero actualmente no volvería ni recomendaría Sketch a nadie más.

The bald lad behind the bar was a cheeky chap… but a lovely chap… made the visit a pleasure… loved the tunes on the jookbox and R frankie played a great song by the gorillas… rock on sketch… great Guinness. L x

It's a great place. 1st visit since it's previous name (yes a long time I know) but it's decent, chilled out and nice staff.

Popped in for a coffee, staff were really lovely and friendly. The bar had a great atmosphere and great sport on the TV. Would happily recommend

Nice cozy bar, reasonable prices for Liverpool and free music is always a plus

Sketch is a regular place for me and my friends, it has the best welcoming atmosphere friendly staff and really good live music of a evening the musicians play all rages of music and also take requests which we love, not to mention it is by far the cheapest place for drafts in the area £2.90 for a carling (or £2.60 happy hour) cocktails 2 for £10 and 20% student discount definitely worth a visit!

Visited this pub a couple of times in the past few months! And it’s definitely one of the best pubs in Liverpool the live music is great and there’s also a duke box which is a bonus, cocktails are my fave and they’ve got the best choice! So glad it’s opened, can’t wait for more nights in there in the summer 💃

This is such a great pub! It has a free jukebox, some great beers, and such a fun, carefree interior design. It's an amazing place for a quiet beer away from the hustle and bustle of the main city center. The staff are all super lovely, too. I will definitely be back!

Lovely spot right on the edge of the city centre, great atmosphere and really cheap prices; I recently discovered this bar and as someone who loves a pint I can definitely tell you it’s up there with one of the nicest pints I’ve had and that’s on multiple lagers too, really nice bar staff who go above and beyond for you, if your looking for a spot to drink i can not recommend this pub enough!!

Popped in whilst staying in a hotel nearby. Had great craic with the locals backing horses, and the owner Ciara was a delight. Highly recommend. Gerry

I was looking for a quiet spot to get some work done as I was around Lime st station and what an absolute gem I found. I am so happy I did stumble across sketch bar as it was a pleasure, 2 minutes walk from lime street station and literally opposite St. George’s hall and the Liverpool empire theatre so a great location! They have a coffee menu the caramel latte was really good and not over priced, had a quick glance at price list and there was plenty of offers on bottles and happy hours etc. The staff were so friendly and just let me get on with my work and they even offer free WiFi which was perfect! I will definitely be using this spot again. I think for any students or people looking for a quiet comfortable spot to study or a coffee and catch up with your friend in the day time this is definitely one for your list. Before I left I asked the staff what it is like of a night as I was interested in knowing what type of vibe it is later on in the evening and they said they are about to start live music nights of a Thursday Friday and Saturday local artists and open mic nights which I thought was really good so I’m really looking forward to coming back with friends to enjoy that!

Sketch bar&kitchen on London road is a new bar that has been completely decorated in a Graffiti style exterior and interior and is unmissable on a very bland street. Housed in the former Lord Warden pub this pub is unrecognisable from the Lord Warden with it's funky psychedelic interior with many interesting fixtures and features relating to 60s music and is a superb pub to visit. We had just returned from Leeds and decided to go in here for a few beers.On entry we gave track and trace details and took a seat in the bar area and as it's table service only one of the staff took our order of a Sharp's Brewery Atlantic Pale ale a superb beer which was well served and priced. This is my first visit to here but it won't be my last as I liked the art-work in here and the beers were superb and the staff very nice.Very easy to get to from Fraser street bus stop its a short walk.(This is my first review of Sketch bar&kitchen). Sketch Bar & Kitchen is a new pub that sprung up in an old famous pub along London Road namely The Lord Warden Pub. Over the last couple of months I've seen this former pub being renovated up ,a riot of colour, the giant mural on the side of Sketch Bar & Kitchen looks amazing but not as amazing as the interior, a wonderful, colourful decorative scheme, many interesting features including a piano,old records as wall art ,retro looking tv's ,its just a magnificent conversion, wasn't sure I would like it but stepping inside I was won over immediately. My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Friday early afternoon, we had just got the train back from a four day break in Blackpool, we headed to here ,track and traced and sanitised our hands and we ordered Sharps Brewery " Atlantic pale ale " served in excellent condition, we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great pub we were in. My pale ale was really good, a crisp, well balanced, full bodied pale ale with a big hit of hops, hints of toffee and a delicious aroma, a totally refreshing brew, a cooling brew after our train journey, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew and marvelling at the magnificent transformation of a once tired looking pub. We really enjoyed our pale ale's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to here we had a great time. Sketch Bar & Kitchen is easy to locate along London Road. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 11am till 11pm. A wonderful pub, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

I wandered in with a friend for a casual pint after work and felt like I really uncovered a hidden gem that was actually so bright and obvious to find. The fantastic graffiti work on the outside and in made it feel like a modern art room and it was so interesting to look around. The barmaid was lovely, chatty and very friendly. She even kept my belongings safe as she thought I might've forgot them. All in all... MUST VISIT. P.S. Try the £3.50 pint of cool different lager (forgotten the name), it's great.
