Wow drinks great value ,and then tried the pizza and salt pepper fries tasted great good size pizza no reflection on the quality has it’s top drawer food but couldn’t finish it anybody lives or visits Liverpool then you got to try this place slightly hidden but to the left hand side of line street station worth the 300 mile trip just for the pizza great staff friendly polite get ya self in there

They have good offers everyday! Really affordable for students.

Our family is visiting from the USA and we just happened upon the Dough Bar - what a treat! All of the staff were so friendly! Our young kids loved the games and we, parents appreciated the old school N64 Mario Kart! The burgers were so great, we came back 2 days later for the pizza and it was even better! The head chef goes out of his way to make sure everything is exceptional that comes out of the kitchen. The bar staff are so great. Can't recommend this place enough!

I had such a brilliant experience working with the Dough Bar to run an event this week. They were so friendly and so helpful, all of the staff, and a crew of ~130 of us had an excellent evening. Thanks to Callum, Matt and the team!

Incredibly, we arrived and the waiters did not approach us, we had to go to the bar to be told that the kitchen was closed one hour after the store's closing time. Likewise, they didn't come over to see if we wanted something to drink. Appalling.

We arrived at 9:50 p.m., they didn't even come close to tell us that the kitchen was closed, there were several people at the bar looking at us without serving us.

We had Chicken wings, chips, I had halloumi salad with sweet potato balls, brownie with ice cream and oatmilk hot chocolate., lovely. Handy near lime street. All good.

Service slow, not enough people on the bar even though there was a Liverpool match on. Empty glasses left on the table for like 2 hours maybe longer. I was eating my food and someone was vaping behind me. Wouldn't normally be too bothered but it was like literally a cloud of smoke and it stank. Then I realised the man actually worked behind the bar. Also the toilets were disgusting and there was no soap. Vile.

Amazing bar, great food at great prices. Staff are unbelievable here. Most definitely reccomend. Vegetarian platter is unbelievable.

I love this place. I was in a tight spot needing a venue for a networking event after the place I had booked cancelled one me at very late notice. One call to the Dough Bar and they reserved me a few tables. Feedback from the night from my group was that they loved the venue, great drinks, good food, excellent staff and a fun, chilled out atmosphere where people could talk and get to know each other. I would like to thank the staff 💖

Met friends for meal and a few drinks around 3pm - For perspective we are late 30s to mid 60s. The servers are lovely, atmosphere is poppy but fun. The food was surprisingly amazing! One of the people said the 'greek freak' pizza was better than the same pizza she had in Greece cooked by locals! Also halloumi fries are easily the best I have ever had. I would definitely recommend

Cheap studenty type bar. Food is great for the price but service a bit slow. Fun atmosphere with games and good music on. Easy stop on our way to the theatre.

Lovely food, good choice on the menu for all tastes. We visited as a family of 5 and ate burgers, chicken and bacon waffles and a wrap with fries and some sides, all reasonably priced. Portion sizes were great. Staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant decor was good with a student vibe. We will definitely be visiting again.

Amazing vibe ! Not many gluten free options but the ones they served were tasty. Staff made sure to ask about all food options for allergies etc - took great take. 3 cocktails for 9 quid - who could ask for more ?

Took afternoon off work to come down in time for a great full english breakfast. Might have been tons on the plate, but despite the doubts of the staff, I wasn't wasting any of this great cooking!!

Visited here for my wife’s birthday after discovering it online. It’s sits slightly hiding down a side street not far from the train station. It was fantastic. Friendly staff, some cool retro arcade machines and consoles and the highlight was definitely the food. Extremely reasonably priced, fresh and really excellent. The pizza was one of the best I’ve had away from proper Italian places. Would love to visit again when I return to Liverpool

Friends and I visited dough bar after a few years and was delighted with its improvements. We were served by Callum who looked after us greatly all evening. Cocktails and food were both spectacular!

Very fair prices on cocktails, food is also very well priced and tastes good. Only thing is the atmosphere can sometimes be a little quiet.

First time going. Went out with a couple of lads from work for something to eat before heading to the hot water comedy club. Really enjoyed the place. Will be going again.

From Start to finish the staff and atmosphere were absolutely amazing ! We visited to celebrate our daughters 18th birthday and it didn't disappoint 👏 she received a free drink,happy birthday off all the staff,and a surprise happy birthday dessert plate with candles.Food and drinks were spot on can't fault anything! Been going to dough bar for years and it's about time I give it a review. Always been a great location for some reasonably priced great food and drinks. The app offers great deals too. Good vibes and decent arcade machines too, perfect for a night of board games and cheap cocktails 👍 it's me and my friends go-to place if we want drinks or food 😋

Used to be an easy 5 stars. But now they must be owned by the Tories because they stopped serving paulaner. Tried to slide tackle the barmaid but missed and flew through the window. Won't go back

This is the third time going to Dough bar and we have never had any complaints. The food portions are great and costs adequate with a good selections of drinks from beers to cocktails. We have had the pizza, hotdogs, burgers and all have been great. The house fries with the upgrade of Garlic and parmesan is a great recommendation. Would recommend anyone to go for good food and a chilled out atmosphere with old school Nintendo N64 and a few classic arcade games

A brilliant spot for families, especially on a rainy evening. Pizza is fresh, hot and delicious. The retro games and music turned a meal into an evening out! Kids were entertained and fed. Good pizza. Great entrees! The bar seems to be an issue ... how do you not know how to make martinis?

Food slaps. Service was epic as well as atmosphere. Me and my dad are big gig goers. We decided this is our Liverpool spot now aha. Really nice place and felt comfortable there. I'm someone with a lot of anxiety too and I felt good in that atmosphere.

We popped in for a quick meal before a gig. The staff were friendly and helpful. The venue is aimed at students and as such is very reasonable priced, especially the cocktails. The food was quick to come out and tasty, in particular the pizza. The hotdog is disappointingly skinny but tasted good. The whole area could of done with a clean, table and seats had crumbs and sticky bits. But overall a great place to grab a bite, cocktail and play some games.

We visited here on a Friday afternoon it weren’t too busy but I could imagine the atmosphere to pick up late on. The food was nice we opted for the jailbird pizza’s and salt and pepper fries. The food did take a little while to come which was surprising given it weren’t too busy. The drinks were stunning considering it was £9 for three cocktails I wasn’t expecting much but they tasted unreal! Highly recommend if your a student or just looking to save some money to come here. There are arcade machines in there and a tv which you can play a console on as well. Decent little bar that’s tucked away but I feel like people should shout this place because I would return :)

Lovely place just by the railway station. Food here was fresh and very filling. Shame some of the consoles weren't working (Xbox) but otherwise a nice place to visit if you're a gamer and in Liverpool.

I brought a group of 22 Italian teenagers to Dough Bar Liverpool and we were very pleased with food, service and value for money. Great atmosphere too and the kids were made to feel very welcome

Ordered the the spicy chicken burger and a pizza, food was delicious and fresh. Drinks were very reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly. Definitely going back again.

Unremarkable. Food not as advertised and ingredients missing. Staff member who served me had friends there and was more interested in going to chat to friends and leaving the work up to colleagues. But the above is factual for the experience I had and I will not be back in Liverpool for the foreseeable future to take them up on offer to correct this.

But that's ok, if it's a place only for locals to have drinks, we wouldn't want to be there as well, so we left after a few minutes. Thankfully this was an exception in Liverpool, and throughout our stay, we found many other places with staff that are friendly and kind to everyone, not just their regular customers.

Student bar next to lime street with some cheap cocktails and great pizza.

Ok, so little embarrassing, but we didn't realise it was a total student haunt! Booked it through the website as the food was right up my street! We walked in and felt a little uncomfortable as in our 30s, we were the oldest there, lol ! The staff were amazing, though! Big shout out to them, made us feel so welcome !! The food was delish ! The drink prices were amazingly cheap ! The retro games were cool, but we didn't play as already felt out of place lol ! Do not regret booking in the slightest though because like i said the food was worth it!

It's a bit run down but has a nice atmosphere. The service is good as is the quality of the food. It is also good value so good for a family

Popped in for an early dinner, we have been many times we love the relaxed atmosphere, played a game of connect four while we waited for our pizzas, loads to choose from and really tasty, also had loaded fries which were great too, we ended up taking pizza home as the portions are very generous will definitely be back again

Visited here pre theatre not really knowing what to expect, but it was convenient. However, we were met with friendly staff, lovely food served promptly as a very reasonable price for what you got. Everyone had different meals (5 of us) but everything looked tasty. Definitely would return. Great little atmosphere and relaxed place.

Proper retro, loved all the little touches. Order at the bar and just tell them where you're sitting. The most fantastic selection of pizzas and names for said pizzas, we shared some loaded fries (again several options to choose from). Biggest problem here is making a decision, as I found myself wanting to try lots. I don't tend to eat the crusts as I've always thought of the crusts as the tool in which to eat the pizza with toppings... It's usually pretty bland and uninteresting to me. I ate all but one piece of this crust and that was only because I thought if I ate it I might burst. Dining partner also had ice cream, I couldn't have managed another bite. I really loved the cinnamon milkshakes, they can make so many different flavours it's great. Have already decided we must go back to try other pizzas and loaded fries. Its a must visit.

Me and my friends have been coming here for 10 years. Every time we come the atmosphere is so welcoming and chill. Food and drinks are always amazing. Staff have always been so kind. Great place.

4 of us popped into this place on a wet and cold Sunday afternoon in Liverpool on the basis of a passersby recommendation. Superb choice, seated right away,atmosphere warm n cosy and the pizzas were first class, cooked in front of your eyes, fresh and really good. Drinks and food reasonably priced and staff superb. If I'm back in Liverpool I'll be back there. Highly recommended.

Found this place on trip advisor looking for something to eat in the lime street station area. This place popped up and decided to give it a go. We had an elderly family member with us, she was a bit put off by the external look of the establishment as it has a young student bar look to it with band posters and video game cabinets around the entrance. We pressed on, the next thing was it was very empty but had only just opened, the gentleman at the bar welcomed us in, he was very friendly and helpful, the older family member felt more at ease at once. We sat in a little booth and ordered food and drink, all came quick, looked amazing and tasted wonderful, best pizza I’ve had in Liverpool, the salt and pepper chicken pizza is highly recommended. I asked my son if he liked the place “can we go back next time” high recommendation indeed.

Visited whilst on a weekend in Liverpool. Me and my Husband had a pizza each (highly reccomend the Winnie the Blue) and shared the Northern Chippy fries. Cocktails are so reasonably priced and very yummy!! If you download the app you can get 3 for £9. There's also a range of video games and board games to play, we could have spent hours playing Mario Kart on the N64 and drinking cocktails!

Banging French Martini, and Mariokart 64

The pizza was out of this world but the Thursday night quiz made us wish we'd stayed out of this bar.

We went there as we were recommended by a friend that this was a good place. The drinks were pretty decent tbh cheap prices and tasted good. The food was pretty mediocre, nothing special about it, tasted like food you’d just buy from the supermarket and put in the oven at home. The toilets were absolutely disgusting, they looked as if they’d not been cleaned in months, none of the doors had locks either in a unisex toilet so you had to try and hold the door whilst using the loo hoping nobody would walk in. Customer service was also non existent, no welcoming as you came in the door, servers looked miserable, they also had to be guided by my friend to find their own tequila and then went to use the wrong glass for a martini which isn’t particularly bad but made us feel less confident that our drinks were being made correctly. 2.5/10 and I wouldn’t be recommending this place to anybody or going back.

Stopped here just before a show so didn't have much time, but it seemed a really nice place, with a buzzy atmosphere. Food was really nice, though the pizzas we had were larger than we thought, so would recommend maybe sharing one. Chips were lovely! Unfortunately some of the games available weren't accepting money or were missing pieces whilst we were there, but there was loads of choice and we couldn't try everything in fairness

I like this place and go here often enough for their retro arcade games and the super friendly staff. It's a spacious venue with a relaxed atmosphere, making it a good space for a Meetup group or any other event where lots of new people are meeting each other for the first time. The food and pricing was similar to any other bar/pub in the area and I appreciated their vegetarian options..

We went this evening for a bite to eat and drink before going on to see a band at The 02 Academy (2 mins walk). Great food and choice of drinks, with really warm engaging staff. My wife left her phone at the bar, and one of the staff that we were chatting with came running after us with the phone. Just fantastic. Recommend, recommend, recommend!’

I came to this place for my birthday expecting a nice time, the man in blue with too much hair gel necked my drink when it was half full, spat in my face and called me a cracker. NOT COMING BACK!

Came up from London and stumbled across this place from the station. The best pizza I’ve ever had! Great vibe too.

The guy in blue gave me the Heimlich manoeuvre. I wasn’t choking. Think it was meant to be the garnish for my cocktail or something. Who knows with cocktails nowadays 🤷🏻. Even gave me a reach around. Excellent service! Would cum again.

Women at the bar was very kind and friendly but I believe it was the waiter with gelled hair and blue shirt told me off for "spilling drinks" even though myself and others can confirm we didn't. He talked privately to my friend who also left a bad review which really made a bad atmosphere. We later saw him drinking at the the bar. Very confused and left very unwelcome.

Decent visit with old uni friends It was hot outside, bar was nice and chilled! Busy on the Saturday we were there but we got a booth. I had the Hogfather pizza with a couple of great beers, Top Rope and a Tiny Rebel Staff...

Great atmosphere, plenty of choice of drink, and amazing pizzas. Having Mario Kart available to play as well as a bunch of arcade games is an added bonus.

In liverpool for the night with my young boys, had booked ahead and really looked forward to going here after seeing the menu and reading the reviews so I'll start with the positive, the food was great. However, sullen staff gave the impression they couldn't...
