My twin brother and I were pub hopping around this part of Liverpool City Centre when we decided to drop into Danny Macs Tavern, been here before on many occasions and it still impresses me. I love the look of this tavern, interior is superb, dark wood features abound throughout this tavern, pubby decor and furnishings, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this tavern, its just a really good place to chill out in. We were here on a Tuesday afternoon, we ordered a guinness each, these were poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular tavern while sipping our guinness. My guinness was absolutely superb, thick, creamy, consistent from the first sip till the last sup and served absolutely freezing cold, a great guinness in a great tavern. We both really enjoyed our guinness in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Danny Macs Tavern we had a great time. Danny Macs Tavern is easy to locate along Oldham Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, midday till 1am. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Danny Mac's Tavern in Oldham street is an excellent Irish pub that offer's an excellent range of drinks and is one of the best pubs to watch live sport. This brilliant pub has an excellent look and feel with brilliant fixtures and features and great seating area's and was a joy to visit. This is a decent pub, but if you are truly an Irish pub rather than a plastic paddy pub then needs to understand your customers . Last Saturday rugby World Cup, Ireland v South Africa, Ireland most important game for 4 years or more, at least 20 Irish supporters watching it and drinking Half time, turned the commentary and put an average musician on! 20 people walked across the rd to the neighbouring bar. Shame because you could be a genuine Irish bar we’re Irish people are happy to drink. PS we like music as well but we love our national teams There’s room for both if you were interested in your customers

This is a fantastic recently opened Irish pub just off Renshaw street near the city centre. Interior is extremely warm, cosy and inviting and full of decor and nicnacs adoring the walls. The toilets are beautiful too. The beer selection was great with a range of keg and cask options as well as an international selection of bottled beer with an extensive range of Irish whiskies on the back bar. I settled for a pint of Guinness and a Glendalough whiskey chaser and could have stayed all night. Pint was delicious and creamy. Will be back again.

We visited as a group of 3 on a busy lunchtime, we were lucky to get a table as it was so busy. It had a great buzz and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional- very tasty and lovely sized portions. I’d definitely love to come back next time I’m in Liverpool.

The one thing about Liverpool City Centre is there are many interesting old pub's and the Cornmarket is one of the oldest and it's one of the best.Located on Old Ropery'the Cornmarket has a fantastic interior with an old world look and feel. The pub dates from the 18th century and is full of character. The interior to this historic pub has many interesting fixture's and lot's of original feature's.There's wood panelling that was taken from a clipper ship that was called the Reina Del Pacifico and excellent seating options. If you enter from Moor street this pub looks completely different as up to the 1960s this was the Bulls Head pub. This pub was taken over by the Cornmarket and has thrived as a pub since then.We have been visiting this pub for many years and it's just as good as it's ever been. We went to here early in the afternoon and it was very busy which is how we like places as the atmosphere is better when pubs are busy. When we visited we had a few glasses of Carling brewery lagers which where first rate and were reasonably priced. Its an excellent old world pub in a fantastic area of the city centre and it's a pub that's well worth going to.(This is my fourth review of the Cornmarket). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-11.30-23.00. Nice cup of coffee thanks! Greeted by Holly who was chatty and took my order with advice when asked for (type of milk used, how many shots). Not a regular at Starbucks but would return. Holly wished me a happy holiday too! This after the the smoothest transit trough the airport ever. Lots to like today at Liverpool JL airport.

Lovely surroundings, comfy sofas, very tasty local gins, and a tasting plate of 3 small beers. Perfect, couldn't wish for better.
