Tusk Baltic in Liverpool

Hadn't even realised Tusk was here - it 'appears' in the bistro on Friday and Saturday evenings. Ordered a takeaway for collection, and it was superb. It was ready in 15 mins, and was absolutely delicious! We shared a Bento Box, and everything in it was top notch. I'll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!

Visited Tusk with my husband and son and the whole experience was excellent. The vegan/vegetarian menu was diverse and exciting, and the food was perfect. We will definitely go again.

Found this place yesterday .cam back today . Vegan Sticky beef shocked me . It was just like beef . I had to check with waitress. Staff very helpful . Will adapt food to suit readily . No rigid menu . Great after a walk along otterspool prom . Loads of choice . Great prices .

Came with my boyfriend for an evening meal. The salt and pepper selecting was amazing and the cocktails were fab! First time visiting since it’s moved to 52 Rose Lane and the quality is still as good as in the Baltic. Cute french cafe vibes with high quality food and drinks 😍🙌 Would highly recommend 👍

Had a lovely evening here the other week with my family and partner we came for a cocktail class and ended up staying for food. The class was so much fun the stand out for us was our host Ant he took care of us the whole night had us in stitches laughing and really payed attention to what we liked and provided a really personal evening between greeting us teaching us our cocktails and taking our food order he did it all. The food was amazing we all shared some small plates recommended to us under the 3 for £15 deal that Tusk offer and everything was so tasty and good value for money. Thank you Tusk and extra thank you to Ant for providing a special evening for us all. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon I’m sure.

I recently held a party at Tusk and I can't recommend it enough. The venue is fantastic, right in the heart of the Baltic Triangle, and the whole team went above and beyond to make it a really great night full of dancing, delicious food, and personalised cocktails. Perfect!

Made up Tusk now have an Afternoon Tea offer. Arrived at Tusk and were welcomed with smiles, as always. We were seated by the cosy log fire and offered blankets too. Staff couldn't do enough for us. They even boxed our leftovers up to take home. Best Afternoon Tea I've been to in Liverpool, by far. (Not surprising since they're always on top form). Couldn't fault a single thing. Thanks Tusk, see you again very soon, for a cocktail class next time!

My partner and I attended the cocktail class yesterday and we had a great time. The manager and his assistant Gab who was running the class was very knowledgable and friendly. We were lucky as we had the class to ourselves! Made two lovely cocktails that we are sure to try at home :) Definitely will return.

We went for afternoon tea and couldn't fault anything. On arriving Neil sat us at a table near the fire and got us both a latte til our platter was ready. The platter didn't take long and we were so impressed at the selection. Crisps, sandwiches, scones and cakes. Everything was lovely and fresh and nicely set out. Only thing was there was too much and couldn't finish it. It wasn't a problem as Neil put the cakes into a box for us and we ate them on the train with a cuppa on the way home. Lovely and friendly staff and will definitely go back when we visit Liverpool again.

First of all we couldn’t find it, we were late. with paying parking only on a waste ground, with no disabled parking. The warehouse is big and cold with blankets supplied. The food was awful, sandwiches stale and tasteless, only ate scone which was stale, took rest of cakes home and binned them incase they were given to someone else. The only advantage was the staff, they couldn’t have been any more helpful, pleasant and attentive to all you requested. Tea and coffee plentiful.

Thanks to Neil and all the staff at Tusk for hosting a wonderful surprise 40th party for Lucy last night! The street food (halloumi fries, nachos and Katsu curry) was lovely and went down a storm with our guests!Tusk is a lovely and relaxed space with various options for layout and lighting all of which can be tailored to fit in with your plans. We were able to choose from a range of food options, selecting street food on Neil’s recommendation to fit with the flow of the party. Neil was great to work with and extremely flexible in thinking about how to use the space in the venue to accommodate both the DJ’s and Drag queen bingo! Professional, clear and helpful, he was really resourceful in sorting out last minute hitches with the sound system. The bespoke cocktail menu was also a big hit! We got suggestions for drinks from guests and Neil worked these up into an individualised menu reflecting everyone’s associations with the birthday girl! Neil was absolutely pivotal to the surprise, producing a fake menu and helping us to get the birthday girl into the party without suspecting a thing! I would throughly recommend Tusk, Neil and the team! We had a great night! Xx

Brilliant atmosphere. Definitely a place to visit. The fire is amazing and they provide blankets and hot water bottles to make it even more snug.

We had food before our cocktail making hour. The food was amazing, we had some of everything! My wife particularly loved the halloumi fries and I loved the duck spring rolls and sweet potato fries.

First time I've been here as I popped in with a colleague for lunch. Was quiet and the specials board wasn't up to date but the guy who served us was very helpful and friendly and recommended the Thai green curry, which was excellent, with the perfect mix of flavour and spice. Would recommend it highly.

This little gem of a place were brilliant hosts to a charity night which helped raise money for Hope for Justice to stop human trafficking. The food and drinks we on point. They do a wicked cheese on toast.

We held a private event here in November and it was a massive HIT! The food was DELICIOUS and the venue was PERFECT for bringing people together. The feedback from the event has been INCREDIBLE. Neil and the team are AMAZING! Such warm and friendly people, who go up and beyond to make sure their visitors have a great time. Last night we attended a private event at Tusk and were blown away by not only the venue, food and drink but how friendly the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble and this genuine service is hard to come across.

I'm not vegetarian but thought i would give it go as I was in the company of vegetarians.

We were taking a punt around the Baltic Triangle which is really growing into the go to place in Liverpool! My gosh it is without doubt a venue that is attempting to cater for all tastes and all types and bravo for that! So we first went for a drink and decided to seek out somewhere for a bite to eat. That's how we happened upon Tusk. It looked eclectic and had an eclectic feel to it. It's a very pleasant place with a small bijou area to enjoy the ambience. The waitress was very nice and warm and the food good but I should have chosen more carefully as we both opted for the Thai green curry. Big mistake for me, huge heh heh. But you live and learn. I don't do spicy food as a rule so I should not have chosen it! Heh. My fault but never mind the gyōzas where very nice and tasty and it will not deter me from going there again, I just will not choose the Thai green curry next time.

Absolutely the best food and drink in the baltic, without a doubt. Amazing service and beautiful cocktails. Would definitely recommend the halumi fries, sticky fingers and the satay chicken. The cocktail class was wonderful two lovely bar staff!

Visited Tusk for my friends birthday celebrations. What can I say....... absolutely brilliant. The food was delicious, cocktails flowing, service A1, the staff were attentive, nothing was too much trouble, they ensured we had a fabulous night. The atmosphere and ambience was perfect. Went to tusk with a small group of friends for a 1hour cocktail making session that we had purchased through groupon. Very enjoyable afternoon - we made mojitos & porn star martinis which tasted lovely! Neil was fab - great, friendly guy & really knowledgeable about his drinks! We didn't eat but the menu looked lovely - we'll be sure to return in future.

Tusk Baltic, what an absolute gem in our great city. Had a brilliant visit at one of their great jazz nights. Neil, Izzy and Helen and a new colleague whose name i have rudely forgotten, looked after us with their usual warm, style and humour. The food was gorgeous, try that Feta Field Mushroom with candied walnuts, oh my word, sensational. The jazz was so good, the company and atmosphere a bit special. They have got everything right at Tusk Baltic, cannot recommend it highly enough, you will love the relaxed friendly vibe. Top top venue.

As a regular customer at tusk, it’s safe to say that the staff here are second to none! Hannah, Izzy, Helen and rob are always on the good vibes, always greeting me when I come in and always just seem to know what I’m after when stepping though the doors in the morning! Love it here <3

I booked Tusk for my 34th birthday, and was accompanied by 15 guests. Neil, the manager made the process,so easy and he was so accommodating. When u arrived I was met by Neil and all other staff introduced themselves, and were all friendly. All my guests arrived and they all ordered food that was fantastic and reasonably priced and the drinks were amazing. Towards, the end of the evening, we were able to play music and it was just the best party and venue, ive ever hosted. I will be using Tusk next year and would recommend this venue in a unique location, with its beautiful decor,food and drinks.

We went to tuck for a cocktail making class for our mum's birthday and had an amazing night. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and Neil was very helpful with booking in. Highly recommended

Went to Tusk for lunch only to be told that main ingredients from several main dishes weren't available. I asked if I could substitute quinoa for brown rice with my falafel salad and although I was told I could, what arrived on my plate was some cremated pilau rice alongside some wizened vegetables and falafel that looked as though it'd had a flame thrower on it. Definitely didn't live up to its own hype.

What a lovely hidden gem of restaurant. Literally stumbled across it and what a find it was. The staff are so lovely, and the food is to die for. Quite reasonably priced too. Kids welcome here and they will even tailor the food for them. Will definitely be back here soon.

The food is lush, a little bit different from your average cafe/bar and has a brilliant art gallery and studio attached to it which is well worth a visit to support local artists.

I'm a regular at Tusk for a weekly business breakfast club but recently I visited for social reasons having been invited to an event next door. As a regular visitor, I can vouch for the food, the cleanliness, facilities and staff - all of whom are excellent.

Amazing food, amazing venue, great fire and fantastic staff. What more could you want? Great coffee and great drinks? Got all that too! Screw going the Baltic market. Get yourself here instead

Absolutely amazing service. Neil was super helpful with food allergies and ensured all of my food was safe for me to eat. Really friendly and knowledgeable.

Initial thoughts were that it was a realxing and friendly place to eat. Seating includes tables and chairs or tables and sofas. Decor not too fussy, modern and minimal. Staff smiled as we entered and were very attentive. Our main server was Ian who, I have to say, was faultless. We did not have to wait too long between courses and the food was so tasty and fresh. Highlight of the evening for me though was the salted caramel espresso martini...oh my word!!!! Would I recommend this place? 100% absolutely!

What an amazing find. We have just had a fantastic meal in the heart of the Cain’s Brewery Village. Really innovative food, lots for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. All cooked fresh and to order. Staff are very friendly and had some fantastic gin too. We will defiantly visit here again, the next time we are in Liverpool.

This place is wonderful. It's the second time I have been. The first was a family find and what a find it was, Dog friendly. Not only is this dog friendly but they even brought a treats bag for Archie. A real nice and welcoming touch.

Hidden gem that when you find, you won't go anywhere else. Amazing staff, food, coffee, cocktails. Dogs get the star treatment too. Been visiting since its first opening and it just gets better and better every time.

I hired Tusk for my birthday celebrations earlier this year and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough! The staff are so friendly and attentive - they really did go the extra mile! The food was incredible, I believe my some of my greedy guests asked for seconds! With its cosy log burner and cool neon lighting, Tusk has an awesome vibe for a party.

Their cheese on toast is to die for! We discovered Tusk when we went to one of their regular Sunday dog parties with friends. There still aren't many dog friendly places in town so whenever we walk along Otterspool prom to the Albert dock we always make a detour.

This sums up perfectly how to use space for varied uses, it was a cold and dark evening and the welcome was warm and cosy. The staff were friendly and there was a great range of food being prepared as we were only there for drinks. Wide range of gins and spirits and bottles and canned beers. Lots of local art to buy on the walls and my wife mentioned it was her birthday and after we had sat a small brownie was brought over with a candle - thank you that was a lovely touch.

Just like in the film, The Chronicles of Narnia, when you walk through the doors at Tusk you know you have been transported somewhere magical. The restaurant is very open, high ceilings and yet there is a warmth about the place that I just couldn't put my finger on. As soon as I walked in I knew I would be in for a treat. I was greeted by Neil who is just one of the wonderful team and they go all out to make sure you are being looked after. There was plenty of room at the bar area so a gin & tonic was on the cards before I was guided and sat down at one of the rustic wooden tables which literally stand on bare concrete floors ....these are the things that make Tusk special. No airs and graces just a really friendly genuine welcome. I was smitten with Tusk and I hadn't even tasted their food. I literally didn't know what to order so I ended up ordering a few things to try and boy oh boy I was not disappointed - the chicken is to die for and don't get me started on the fish & chips! From start to finish it was a joy to visit Tusk. I have been so smitten by the whole experience I celebrated New Years Eve there and I will be back in a few weeks to celebrate my birthday with my family as they need to experience what I do everytime I visit. Thank you to all the team at Tusk, an absolute joy and I cannot wait to see what 2019 holds. This place is one to try, leave all the hustle and bustle of the city centre and venture up towards the Baltic Triangle and you won't be sorry!! Tusk you ROCK love Diane x

Can not rate Tusk highly enough, an eclectic mix of expectations exceeded. Decor and the space is excellent, great log burner to sit next to in Winter months in high backed arm chairs. Love the toilets - do not often say that! - choose your shed...Extra credit to the manager Neil, his Negroni expertise is top of the tree and when he says gracefully that that next one may be one too far, listen to him! It could save you from my day after. Great drink selection, mirrors the food menu, diverse but every dish is fantastic and so darn yummy! Tusk is one of the only places I say I will start at and end up staying.

Situated in old warehouse. Friendly staff. Good choice of starters and main courses. Small portioned main courses so you need to order sides as well. Very tasty food. Was surprised when the starters and main came at the same time.

We were a large group at Tusk for New Years Eve. We had such a fantastic time. The food was delicious and such good value for money. The atmosphere was great and the staff were so welcoming. Tusk came to our rescue for a last minute informal family get together. Great food, lovely space and very good food. I would hightly recommend this space for family or friends get togethers.

Called in here with my daughter. Guy on the bar really friendly and helpful. Nice log fire to sit near. Food was great. I had pan fried toastie and my daughter had breakfast brioche bun with sausage egg and bacon. I was nearly offered a taste but apparently too good to share - ha ha! We will return. Evening menu looks nice too.

Stumbled on to this place by accident - it was one of the few places open in the area for breakfast (around 10:30 or so). Service was fast, kind and attentive. The food was yummy and the coffee delicious. Would recommend it to anyone in the area.

We had our Christmas party here and it was enjoyed by all. Cocktail lesson to start, great food but above all the most amazing service as always from the Tusk Team led by the legendary Neil.

Food was very tasty. It a little expensive but what I would expect from that area. The staff were lovely.

Had my 40th birthday party at Tusk on a Saturday night and Neil and his team couldn't have been more helpful in making the night a success, from dealing with my endless questions leading up to the night and then making sure everyone had a good time on the night itself. I only reserved part of the venue so it was still open to the public - I only hope we didn't scare anyone off. The food was excellent, great drinks, good music, decent venue - what more could you want?

I booked Tusk for my Mum's 84th birthday for 20 people. The food was fresh and delicious, and plenty of it. Great staff, good bar, a perfect night for a very special woman.

Popped in here for a spot of lunch when shopping with my daughter - it was perfect. Good relaxed atmosphere. Clean and comfortable - good loos,( always a bonus! )

It was our first time visiting tusk, and I gotta say, I'm not feeling it, it was very cold in there, and we waited for over half an hour before someone camd to take our order and then we waited a further hour and a half for our drinks, two hot chocolates and a latte, all of which were cold on arrival. We then waited another half an hour for our food, two bagels with cream cheese and bacon and one bagel with cream cheese and salmon. I must point out that the restaurant wasn't full,so I don't quite understand how they could take so long.

Lovely happy chappie Shawn, couldn’t be more helpful, works really hard! Bit of a delay with food so we were offered beetroot hummus. Food was delicious( thanks chef Mike) . Recommended. 😘

Impressive, atmospheric cafe/restaurant hidden around the corner from the rest of the Baltic Markets. Well worth checking out for the food alone, which is first class. I had the sweet and sour cauliflower dish - which was delicious. I particularly liked the amount of vegan/vegetarian menu options on offer. There is something on the menu for everyone. Service was excellent too; in particular from Ronan. Can highly recommend. Will definitely be back!

Went to Tusk around 6.30pm on a Saturday. We got a table outside and ordered drinks (2 Aperol Spritz) and food. Drinks were very average, no prosecco so just Aperol and water!!)

Second time we’ve been here and the place doesn’t disappoint. Shaun was a really friendly and accommodating waiter, really made the meal! Plus anyone who sees constant adverts for halloumi fries at the Baltic market - the halloumi fries at Tusk beat them hands down, so good!!!

Just had an amazing afternoon at Tusk, Liverpool! They made us so at home, in a cozy corner for a surprise little party for my daughters baby shower. The staff are very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us! The food was great and free flowing! They were so accommodating, we were not rushed in any way. The music was really great too, really good variety! It was my first time there, but would definitely go again and would highly recommend it! Thanks Sean and Hannah for a really good afternoon!
