Incredible food, such a little gem that I'd recommend!

Love place to have breakfast. Good service and quiet place. The food is very good and tasty. I would recommend the Halloween menu.

The space is slightly small but has a beautiful aesthetic. Feels quite cosy. People seem to be respectful of the small space and could have a conversation without mixing voices from tables around. I ordered the Cream Cheese Salmon Bagel and an Iced Matcha Latte. The bagel was quite nice, slightly toasted but still fluffy and soft, with a good amount of salmon. It even came with some side salads which was a nice and fresh touch! The Matcha Latte was a bit too milky for my taste but still enjoyable. All came promptly, I was in and out within 40 minutes which is good for the business district it's located in. The service was also nice, kind and cheerful staff!

Great cafe and really good food. We had the Vegetarian and Vegan half breakfast, lots of food and tasted great. Coffee was good too.

Arrived at 10:30 ordered coffee within 5 minutes of being there but didn’t get it until 11:05. I was hoping it was going to be the best coffee in the world the time I waited for it but I was very disappointed with the taste. I couldn’t drink it. Breakfast finally arrived about 11:15 I got the eggs royal. The poached egg whites were so undercooked it was a snotty egg but the yoke was way overdone no runny yoke unfortunately. The whole Lucy in the sky first time experience was a big massive disappointment, the service, coffee and breakfast. I got up to pay at the till the girl asked me if everything was okay I said “no it wasn’t but it’s okay” she then said “£30 please” I paid and left. Definitely won’t be returning

Brilliant place fantastic staff and amazing food

Came here this morning and the breakfast was unreal. Everything was fresh, cooked to perfection and the ingredients used are top quality. Service was fast and the staff were so lovely, will deffo be back!

Spent a weekend in Liverpool and a quick search of local eateries on tripadviser indicated a 5 star cafe literally on our doorstep, so we called in for breakfast. I opted for the full English, and my partner went for the cheesy beans on toast. Both were delicious, as was the coffee we ordered with them. Next morning we headed straight back there, and ordered the exact same dishes. Service was excellent - each and every member of staff was friendly and efficient. My only regret is that our stay in the city wasn’t long enough for us to head to Lucy’s to try the scouse .... top marks, all - we’ll definitely be back 😎✌🏼😎

This was my second visit to this place. I was very happy with my first one, but I am not happy with the today's one. Last time I was amazed with the indoor style and atmosphere and the food was good. Today we decided to sit outside as it was super hot inside. We had to wait 40 minutes for our order, what was way to long for a basic brunch. I ordered Chicken Burger for 12 pounds with halumi fries and to be honest I was disappointed with the size of it. Also, the taste of it was just ok, had eaten much better ones in other places for the same price before. Another thing that I disliked was lack of rubbish bin in the toilet. That was very inconvenient for me.

Loved it. Delicious food and great service. Arrived not long after opened so got seated quickly filled up and people waited outside for a table. Very nice.

We checked out this coffee shop on our last day in Liverpool, after seeing it on Google, and we're so glad we did! We couldn't get seated inside because it was so busy - this was fine with us as we were happy to sit outside (and it's also a good sign if the cafe is busy). I had the eggs royale and the scouse shake - a chocolate milkshake with marshmallows and cream served in a little wheelie bin. Both were absolutely delicious!! My mum had a salmon cheese bagel and orange juice and she really enjoyed hers too. The food was gorgeous, the staff were lovely, and it's a really nice atmosphere. Would definitely visit again.

Loved this place. We arrived with 6 people on a Sunday morning. The place was pretty packed but the staff went out of their way to create space for us. Lovely atmosphere and nice food. The full English was a proper treat for us visiting from the Netherlands. Would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely and elequent coffee and cafe. Scouse was on offer, an my son said it was heavy. Which a real compliment from him, the shop had an offer on the scouse so he messaged his mum to advise he was sorted for his tea this evening. 😉 The service was great, helped with my order and friendly. Stumbled on this cute hidden gem of a cafe. Absolutely loved the breakfast I had :) so accommodating for my dairy free needs. The servers are so nice and lovely, welcoming with our scouse charm. Food is great .

What a fantastic little Cafe. Visited whilst Taylor Swift was in town and the city was very busy. We had a 1/2 breakfast which is 1 of everything which was plenty for me it was made with great quality ingredients and the perfect fried egg and a veggie breakfast also very good. The staff were so friendly and happy even though they were clearly very busy. Make this a definite for breakfast if you are ever in Liverpool

Came here the day after a big concert at Anfield. It was very busy, but the staff were well organised and willing to go the extra mile to accommodate everyone with a smile. We were served quickly, and our breakfasts were delicious. Will visit again.

Wonderful food, staff and atmosphere. We were looking for somewhere for a nice brunch and just happened to pass Lucy in the sky, and it's a good job we did. The food and service were excellent and the prices were good too. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely come back again.

Lovely little independent cafe which we just came across when looking for a lunch spot. Very friendly young staff. My wife is particular about her cafe latte (always asks for a variation on the standard make) and said that the one she had here was one of the best she's ever had.

Good coffee and a nice alternative to enjoy a hearty breakfast in this place, for example if the very popular restaurant across the street might be very busy. The food was very tasty and the personnel friendly and attentive.

The breakfast is really very good, which I really like, it's a small local company and not a chain restaurant. We were lucky and got a table for 6 of us - but I would definitely make a reservation next time. Value for money for Liverpool is definitely very good.

If you are in Liverpool and you want a good, healthy (not oily!) cafe breakfast/meal, in a colourful setting, served by friendly, efficient staff, then look no further than here. It's lovely. Tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and with really good tea, coffee and meals served with trendy china and branded serviettes, this is an A-class cafe. The "Half Scouse" breakfast is a great meal. Well done to the owners for making Lucy's what it is. We'll be back!

Went for a nice breakfast when I was in Liverpool. Before going we saw the reviews and it did live up to its hype. We had a nice cold coffee which was very refreshing. But I had to add a bit more sugar. Then we had a breakfast bagel which was so good that we now make it at home as we live in Inverness. The bagel was nicely arranged, the ingredients were fresh and it was very fulfilling. The hash browns were distinctively very delicious. We also had eggs Benedict. This was my very first time trying the eggs Benedict and Lucy’s did justice to it. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the sauce was creamy and what really stood out were the pomegranate seeds on the top. The staff was very friendly and gave us an excellent service. Would recommend to everyone who is visiting Liverpool. I forgot to ask one question to them - Why is it named “Lucy in the Sky” ?

Super enjoyed our brunch here! We were in Liverpool for half term break and read really good reviews on this cafe so we just had to try. Boy, I was not disappointed! I was worried that there would be no seats for us but luckily, we got there around 10:15am on a Friday and there was one table for 4 for us! Yey! Ordered Royal Poached Eggs and Hollandaise. It was sooo good! The sauce and the eggs were cooked just right! Coffee was also good. Ambiance is cozy and warm. Staff was friendly. There is just a wait for the food to come but it was worth it. Will definitely be coming back here when we visit Liverpool again! Perfect place for breakfast (or brunch or lunch)!

Just finished our „fantastic” breakfast in this place. 40 minutes from sitting by the table to get breakfast for two, which came incomplete. Waitress said that thing I should have on plate might fall from it 😂 smashed avocado toast is just 1cm thin piece of bread with avocado, if I know I wouldn’t pay 8£ for that . My coffee cup had avocado stains from dishwasher I assume, plus bamboo desk was dirty with some berry jam or something. They have hard water and you can clearly see that on the surface of the coffee. I really want to know who give them so high reviews. I won’t come back to this place anymore.

Stumbled across this little place whilst walking around Liverpool. The food was great! We got the smashed avacado (added poached eggs and mushrooms) and two large breakfasts. Food was delicious and freshly prepared. The space is small but it’s worth going to. Staff were super friendly. I would highly recommend.

Ich muss ehrlich gestehen dass ich zuerst beim Restaurant daneben frühstücken wollte aber mich dann doch für ein englisches Frühstück bei Lucy entschieden haben. Diese Entscheidung war die Beste an diesem Tag! Unglaublich wie nett und freundlich das Personal ist und das Essen ist ein Michelin Stern wert!
