The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in North West

Lovely pub to go for a drink. Only pub close to where we were staying. No food served here. Dog friendly. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Close to request stop railway station. Open 2pm til pub empty. Makes sence. Friendly people.

AVOID!! This is possibly the worst cafe I have ever been in. As someone previously noted, you can’t see in from the outside so you’ve no idea what you’ve committed to. The building itself is quaint, 17th century. We sat at the window. The window sill was covered in cobwebs. We ordered the afternoon tea which came with shop bought cakes one of the chocolate buns (cupcake would be an exaggeration) was mouldy. When we pointed this out to the owner there was no apology just a look of disdain. She returned with a strawberry one instead “just in case”. There is an abundance of eateries in Kendal - this venue should be considered a last resort!!

This is my favourite bakery in the UK and such a gem for Macclesfield! Their pastries are the best I’ve had and each one tastes incredible. Staff are always so friendly and the coffee is also delicious. Myself and my partner regularly go on a weekend for our breakfast and we are never disappointed, it is simply perfect there!

Called for drinks and cake today, the most recent of many visits including breakfast, lunch and afternoon drinks and cake. The food is good and the prices value for money. The lakeside location is lovely. Staff are always friendly and helpful, carried a drink outside for us today. The chocolate orange cake was yummy

It was mid-afternoon by the time I visited, so several products had sold out. However, I still got a nice slice of almond and raspberry loaf.

Entré a tomar un café rápido, terminé quedándome y configurando mi laptop para trabajar híbridamente. Lugar encantador, gran café. Estoy deseando volver.

The food and service at the Lamb is always exceptional, not your average menu and flavours either. If you can go, do.

Saw this place a few weeks ago whilst walking on the canal, read some reviews and thought yeah why not . Popped in this morning, first impressions a really welcoming atmosphere, lovely and warm , staff were friendly and helpful. Busy when we were there which is always a good sign but even so our small breakfasts didn’t take too long to arrive . Clearly using butchers meat for our breakfast and despite us opting for small breakfasts there was plenty and it was really nice . For drinks we chose latte and an instant coffee both were really nice and brought just before our meal . £13.00 was the total for 2 breakfast and 2 drinks which considering the quality of the meal is great value . Butter is a relaxed bar for people who want a nice drink and just to decompress. You need to know what you want but if you do you are good! I'd recommend an old fashioned.

The Park was once a lovely, traditional pub, but sadly, it is now derelict and up for sale.

Visité este lugar durante mi descanso de 30 minutos para comer. Mi novio había pedido nuestra comida 20 minutos antes para asegurarse de que no nos apresuraran. Cuando llegué, me senté allí durante 25 minutos sin comida. Finalmente, tuve que irme, así que mi novio le preguntó al empleado de la mesa qué estaba pasando. ¡Admitió que ni siquiera había hecho mi pedido! Ella sólo procesó su pedido de comida. Si bien puedo entender cierta confusión ya que una persona estaba pidiendo dos, no puedo entender por qué me dejó sentarme allí durante 25 minutos mirando a mi alrededor sin venir a tomar mi orden? El lugar no estaba ocupado - ella estaba detrás de la caja sin hacer nada todo el tiempo. Lo que es peor, ni siquiera se disculpó por el error. Cuando salí después de desperdiciar toda mi pausa para comer y no tener nada que comer, ella simplemente bajó la cabeza y me ignoró. Absolutamente decepcionante.

After a day visiting family, we stopped here for dinner. We were made very welcome, and provided us with a excellent meal. Cost was reasonable, portion size generous, and we really enjoyed the meals.

Quick service and lovely food in the cafe and the butchers. Excellent value too. Farm shop and cafe well worth a visit, lots of frozen and fresh food. Jams, pickles etc too.
