The food and service at the Lamb is always exceptional, not your average menu and flavours either. If you can go, do.

Really enjoyed our meal at The Lamb yesterday evening. The dog friendly section was cosy and our black lab was made a fuss of and enjoyed the dog treats. Friendly staff and pub exceptionally clean. My partner has a dairy allergy and this was catered for without fuss. Interesting menu and great to see Croatian dishes on the menu.Food very fresh and home made bread was lovely..Will be back to try the desserts. Wishing the landlord and staff every success. Well worth a visit. .

Sorry food was very very basic, awful greasy after taste, I like garlic but over powered, I hate being asked how I want my steak when they clearly do not pay attention to detail. Not good value for money. Service ok but one of waiting staff did not understand what I asked for!

We tried an unplanned early evening meal today which was superb and great value. A warm welcome from Dragon and his wife who are doing a great job offering great pub grub with a croatian touch and hospitality. Highly recommended.

Fifty five years since I was in this pub so when I’d heard nice things about the food being served me and my wife called in after shopping. The pub was not busy but it was quite late on a Wednesday lunchtime. One couple had already eaten and a few were having a pint in the public bar. A very polite, pleasant guy behind the bar (he later told us he was Croatian) took our orders. We liked the sound of the ‘Dalmatian’ casserole but it was in the oven and wasn’t going to be ready until the evening (lucky evening diners). So I had a delicious plate of sea bream in a tomato, courgette and pepper sauce with roasted potatoes and my wife had a type of Mediterranean meat balls with the same type of vegetables. So, the starter was a dish of lovely olives with homemade focaccia bread and sun-dried tomatoes and the pudding,I don’t know because I don’t eat them. My wife performs that service. So in summary; a step back in time, a chat with one of our European cousins and some delicious simple Mediterranean food. And all for £40 quid. A bargain!

Called in to The Lamb, Willaston For a meal, Have been a few times before but now it has a new people running the bar and restaurant. New Menu with a good selection of meals to choose from, we ordered a starter and main course and drinks, we were not disappointed and we both agreed that the food was good quality and service pleasant and good, we chose a sweet to eat and that was very nice i had a coffee to finish with all just perfect. After 9pm they had some entertainment on, a young lady from Liverpool university and yes she could sing, pleasant selection of songs and just loud enough so it didn't drive the customers out, all in all a very pleasant evening.

First time visiting will not be the last! Lovely atmosphere, warm and welcoming. All the staff friendly. Had a lovely home cooked lunch. Fish and Chips the best ever according to my hubby. Will definitely return in the future.

Always a delight to have breakfast here. Proper full breakfast cooked and served to perfection by Holly and Gemma. There's nothing here to complain about at all. Always a warm welcome, and just a pleasure to make time here for a proper breakfast. What more can I say?

We used to regularly walk to Miola for a coffee and can’t believe how it has changed. Outside is a complete dump with tatty pieces of furniture up for sale at ridiculous prices . The elephant and giraffe which have been there for years are still for sale at a ridiculous price. Toilet was filthy with no toilet paper. Chose to sit outside as had children with us and tables were tatty and dirty. The food was overpriced and mediocre. Bacon sandwich with virtually no bacon. Peanut butter on toast which was slimy and greasy. Children took one look and didn’t touch it and can’t say I blamed them. It is so sad as Miola used to be such a lovely place to go to. Can only assume that with Holmes Chapel closing its on the cards that Sandbach will close as well. So disappointing and what a waste of money !
