First time visiting, we both had the potato, leek and ham soup, I had the cheese scone with mine which was like a double size scone, light and fluffy, my wife had bread, which was mixed white and brown and plentiful. It's dog friendly, and they even brought a little bowl of ham for our dog. Staff are lovely. Prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to go back to try more of the menu.

It’s was wet and windy when we walked past this little cafe. They had a spare table so we popped inside. The two ladies were very friendly and we ordered tea and cake. They offered a couple of GF choices (although they were not separated from the other glutinous cakes). The cafe itself was quite basic and sitting near the window, we noticed the window beds were not very clean at all. It’s a little tired and needs some love but it did the job.

Absolutely abysmal experience from start to finish. Visited here on bank holiday and asked for a takeaway coffee and the waiter could not have been ruder!! Disgusting service. Coffee was even worse. The guy looked like he could not be bothered to serve anyone and looked quite angry tbh. Would not recommend and would definitely not re visit. What a waste of money and time!

It was ok but nothing to push the boat out for. My daughter wanted chicken tikka panini but apparently had no tikka, I asked for a sandwich on brown bread cake but they had no brown bread cakes left. Really?? And this was only just after noon. Nothing special about the ham sandwich which all in all tasted bland. The dog ate most of it.

The Fleece is a traditional pub that, thankfully, has avoided modern refurb and retains typical, old style decor, furnishings etc. It’s in a sort of circular shape with a public bar, a slightly smarter area and a separate room for darts etc. We had pints of Wainwright’s which were well kept and perfectly pulled and the young lady behind the bar was charming.

Caffe Piazza doesn't exist anymore, it is now called THE PIG IN MUCK, and it's a great place for a visit
