Didn’t actually get to sit or eat anything which is clearly frustrating. We did wait to be attended to for probably 20 minutes during which time none of the staff had any courtesy to speak and advise availability of tables etc. Just too rude! Cakes looked good in the cabinets though 🙄. To be fair even if it was empty and the cakes were the best in the whole county, wouldn’t come back now!

It’s was wet and windy when we walked past this little cafe. They had a spare table so we popped inside. The two ladies were very friendly and we ordered tea and cake. They offered a couple of GF choices (although they were not separated from the other glutinous cakes). The cafe itself was quite basic and sitting near the window, we noticed the window beds were not very clean at all. It’s a little tired and needs some love but it did the job.

Absolutely abysmal experience from start to finish. Visited here on bank holiday and asked for a takeaway coffee and the waiter could not have been ruder!! Disgusting service. Coffee was even worse. The guy looked like he could not be bothered to serve anyone and looked quite angry tbh. Would not recommend and would definitely not re visit. What a waste of money and time!

It was ok but nothing to push the boat out for. My daughter wanted chicken tikka panini but apparently had no tikka, I asked for a sandwich on brown bread cake but they had no brown bread cakes left. Really?? And this was only just after noon. Nothing special about the ham sandwich which all in all tasted bland. The dog ate most of it.

We dashed in here to avoid the rain and ended up staying for lunch as the food looked so tasty. The pub is warm and cosy, a real traditional boozer with cheery staff. We ordered a hot beef sandwich which came with unreal home cooked chips and also a couple of dishes from the starter and side menu. Anytime I see Mac and cheese it’s a must have and the Fleece didn’t disappoint with their tasty offering. There was sports on the TV and the bar was well stocked. They had adverts all around about the live music and quiz nights, so it’s definitely a place that would keep you entertained. We had a lovely Saturday afternoon here.

Caffe Piazza doesn't exist anymore, it is now called THE PIG IN MUCK, and it's a great place for a visit
