Subject: Chilly Experience at Costa 37 Melcombe St, London NW1 6AG Dear Costa, I am writing to express my concern about the consistently cold temperature inside your [Branch Name] location. While I enjoy visiting your coffee shops, the excessively cold air conditioning has made my recent visits quite uncomfortable. I understand the importance of maintaining a pleasant environment, but the current temperature seems to be significantly lower than what is comfortable for most customers. It would be greatly appreciated if you could consider adjusting the air conditioning settings to a more moderate level. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Sincerely, K/h

Kenje and Milene did a fantastic job keeping the breakfast area clean and welcoming. They were quick to clear tables and helped everyone with a friendly attitude. Their hard work made the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you both!

I had heard encouraging reports from friends about Noble Rot restaurants as havens of good food and great wines. So I was looking forward to my first foray as a guest to their Bloomsbury establishment today. My immediate impression was of a traditional wine bar. Small tables, low light, slightly noisy from the lack of soft furnishings but buzzy. The menu du jour was short but interesting and I started with Christian Parra Boudin Noir with roast port-soaked chicory (£17.00). Some say that this black pudding is the best in the world. As a devotee of Stornaway black pudding from MacLeod, I am happy to confirm that this softer, more fragrant French version is definitely premier league. It was perfectly cooked with crisp exterior and complemented by the rich and sweet chicory. A superb dish. The main course of Roast Yorkshire Pheasant with soft polenta and chestnuts (£34.00) was exceptional. Wonderfully tender and moist meat (so often game birds can be dry with over-cooking) with crunchy skin and delicious gooey polenta where the chestnuts provided contrasting firmness. This was an absolute treat especially when accompanied by a young but fruity 100% Syrah grape St Joseph red from Northern Rhone (£70.00). Throughout our meal, the service was attentive, helpful and quietly professional When the food and wine are so good, I really don’t mind that there no linen napkins or tablecloths and that the chairs were mildly uncomfortable. I can’t wait to return and/or try one of their two other restaurants in Soho and Mayfair

Before Covid we used this restaurant weekly and it was always very good. Since then it has been very hit and miss but generally not the standard of previously. Our last visit was the worst yet. Service was extremely slow. The chicken was a very small portion and was sent out cold and had to go back. The bread sent out with the cheese was so hard it was almost like toast. The children’s haddock has changed and now looks more like fishfingers and was sent out still frozen! I have to put the blame for all these issues with the kitchen staff and the quality of the food being served. The restaurant staff were fine and our issues were dealt with by the manageress promptly. If Cote want to keep their core local customers they have to do better.

The worst pret i have been to. Nothing on the shelves same old dead cookies. Sandwiches boring and unappealing.Spelt cookies my favorite are never on offer. If you want to escape the cold weather then it's fine but that's all it's good for and I don't sit in there. Not impressed at all. Plus hella expensive. Nil points

Brilliant tranquil place just next to the noicy and crowded oxford street. St Christoffers place is really a hidden gem and the Lamb & Flag is really a nice place to rest your feet at. Stop just for a drink or have a traditional pub lunch … the fish and ships is excellent and the burgers is far better than average.
