Sir Richard Atterbury supported this wetlands! A nice coffee shop to just sit and enjoy nature, away from the rush of modern civilization. The sourdough toastie with tamato, mozzarello and basil is recommendable. Note that gluten free bread is also available on request. Standard coffee selection are on offer. The trail is well kept, but can be muddy - wear closed shoes.

Lovely cafe in the grounds of the Woodberry Down Wetlands nature reserve. Serves breakfasts, cakes and coffee. Good range of healthy drinks and unhealthy cakes. Staffed by volunteers you are supporting a good cause by eating and the outside part has great views. Limited capacity so come early at weekend. Best late afternoon. Venue also recently hosted wedding reception for us and did great job. Great location.

We had coffee and some toasties and everything was delicious and we really enjoyed our visit. The staff were really lovely and the setting is super cute with all of the hanging flowers. Really liked that all of the containers were recyclable/compostable and that the bins explained what went where. Please sell the London Wildlife decaf coffee in bags though in the shop section as I was gutted that there was only regular coffee for sale! Lovely visit and will be coming back regularly.

Came with a friend for a brunch. I was very surprised by the quality of the food ( really home made) natural ingredients, tasty and well presented. No fuss in this place, just friendly staff, people who really care about what they are doing, motivated and delivering, Worth trying.

I came here for lunch on a cold but sunny Sunday. Glorious location, an oasis of calm in the Woodberry Wetlands, a seat outside with a wonderful view. A delicious open smoked salmon sandwich and a really good latte. Lovely people running the place. I'll be back.

Great location good food but service takes v long. Ordered breakfast and coffee - coffee took more than 30 minutes to arrive. Had to ask for take away in the end. For these prices I would expect a more timely service

Woodberry Down looks great since the restoration and a good afternoon walk because it connects (almost) off road to our home through Finsbury Park (and beyond all the way up to Highgate). The cafe is right on the water, stylish and with quirky touches, like the tables that the friendly lady tells us comes from the nearby trees. We can't afford to stop at cafes as often as we used to, but we spotted an accessible £1 builder's tea option so now we can stop by whenever we come.

Today we had a lovely veggie breakfast which was absolutely delicious. Perfectly poached eggs on toast, halloumi, a portobello mushroom, guacamole, relish, a bit of greenery and some seeds, oh and some really tasty homemade baked beans. We will be back!
