Sendero Coffee in Wandsworth

Here just for drinks while we waited to check in to Premier Inn just round the corner. Service was okay and coffee okay. Seems to be a café /coffee shop to bring your gadgets and look at your screen. Depends upon your point of view whether that is good, bad or indifferent.

Popped into Sendero before a visit to the US embassy at Nine Elms. The coffee house has a nice chilled vibe with amazing coffee. They also offer lockers if you need store luggage if you’re going to the US embassy.

As much as I have had a number of positive experiences with Sendero the lack of consistency is alarming. For that reason I would recommend just avoiding as you don’t know what level of service you will receive. Twice in the last two months the food I’ve ordered has been burnt to an inedible standard. It’s concerning that on both occasions the food was even bagged up and served to a customer. There are definitely better options in the local area of an independent chain coffee.

Great coffee and I loved the avocado toast with pomegranate. Only issue would be that it is cold in the cafe when the door opens.

Been a regular visitor since it opened and the breakfasts are always fresh. This time I tried the falafel wrap which was fantastic. The chicken sandwich and avocado on sourdough are very good as well. I’m not a coffee person but the flat white I used to drink here was the best I’ve had in london though that is not difficult given there is zero competition for a decent coffee. Even the jam with toast option is brilliant washed down with English breakfast tea.

Nice coffee (although was expecting it to be a little better). Protein bite was also nice. Right on the corner of the main road a couple minutes drive away from Clapham junction

Coffee was poor, over priced and lukewarm, very bitter and staff incredibly rude and unhelpful. Would recommending the coffee shop around the corner.

This is a great coffee shop, nice chilled atmosphere with some music. I enjoyed a mocha and veggie roll which was fresh and tasty. Service was good and prices reasonable for the quality. Lots of nice cakes to choose from. I recommend a visit.

Here in London for few days to celebrate NYE with friends. We have found this cafe on google with good rating, around the corner from our airbnb. Great smooth tasting coffee and tasty breakfast. We will come back tomorrow again before NYE madness.

I had a cappuccino which was lovely and smooth. Arrived in a nice cup. Good selection of cakes and a nice cosy atmosphere

The top of Lavender Hill is at Clapham Junction and to the left the plethora of hip cafes/bars/restaurants of Northcote road and the right a road that I’ve forgotten the name of but similarly populated with nice eateries/coffee shops etc...Down the other end though it’s a different story so I was delighted to find Sendero. Open from 7am and serving a limited but variety of breakfast (keeping in with the fashions of smashed avocados, pastries, eggs etc...) a really lovely laid back atmosphere (the morning I was in there were a mixture of people catching up over coffee/breakfast, lone breakfasters (with or without laptop but this is London and it certainly doesn’t resemble a “office with coffee machine” that I’ve experienced in other cafes) or just people leisurely with papers. Nice relaxed and modern decor without being too try hard. Friendly service and I returned for the live music that they have from 7pm Fridays and Saturdays which was excellent, lovely vibe, candles, good wine selection, fromage/chacuterie boards or galletes and just a really nice without being pretentious place to go even if on own. Wish I lived more local!

I had a gorgeous warming butternut soup with bread. Very reasonably priced especially for the quality. The coffee is delicious too and the service was good. Quirky cosy place to have a pleasant hour with a friend.

Second time her, just waiting for poached eggs. It’s friendly, plenty of choice and laid back too. Maybe pricier than it’s peer group and maybe a bit grubby round the edges. Strong, stale cooking smells in the air, but it’s good nonetheless.
