Very good brunch shakshuka well served in an informal café setting in Maida Vale near the station with outside pavement seating

I was out with friends in the neighbourhood and we were looking for somewhere for Brunch. We stumbled on to this cozy place. There was a good selection of everything. Between us we had Greek Salad, Sourdough french toast. Shashouka and pastries. The only think I wouldn't order again was the Shashouka as there was too much tomato. Everything else was very tasty and good value. We would definitely go back if we're the neighbourhood again.

This is such a lovely welcoming cafe! Always friendly and fast service, the coffee is great as well. Haven’t eaten here yet but the food looks amazing.

Found this place while wandering down the Edgeware Road looking for breakfast at 7am in the morning! I was the first one in and was greeted warmly, despite it being so early. I had a fantastic full english breakfast and a tea. Not cheap, but high quality ingredients, no catering sausages here! I sat outside in the street and watched the commuters popping in and out in the morning heat. It was going to hit 30 degrees in London again! Great, friendly service, great food, no rush or fuss. Perfect. Certainly meets the criteria often used here, a hidden gem!

Food was delicious, made and prepared with love and care. Service was amazing, the gentlemen was very welcoming and accommodating. We had the fish and lamb cube meal, everything was fresh and incredibly scrumptious! Cute décor - definitely our new hot spot! Can't wait for you to re-open to try breakfast :)

Full English at ThePeppermint, Maida Vale. Superb ingredients, big fat peppery bangers, amazing coffee. Small niggle in mixing mushrooms and toms and the green sprinkle but tasted wonderful. Pricey at £16 but it’s Maida Vale 🤷🏼‍♂️ Well worth a visit

I live quite close and have been a number of times. However, I had a really poor experience today at Peppermint and will not be going back. Along with my food, I ordered their Banana, Mango and Orange smoothie. When it arrived I drank some of it and could taste absolutely nothing except banana. I really do mean nothing, not even a hint of either orange or mango. I politely told the waitress this when she brought our food and asked if she could bring the smoothie back to the kitchen and have some 'extra' mango and orange added. When she returned a few minutes later the smoothie tasted exactly the same. There was absolutely no mango or orange in it. It had simply been topped up with more of the exact same. I again politely made this point to the waitress. She gave me a very unconvincing explanation that banana is a very strong taste and it must be over powering the other fruits. I felt it was getting awkward and didn't want to embarrass her so I just nodded and left it at that. But I felt sure they wouldn't charge me for the smoothie. I was shocked to see it on the bill when it arrived. Their smoothies are not cheap and I think it is very poor practice to cut corners like this and leave the waiting staff to come up with weak excuses. I understand that eating out is not cheap and I don't mind paying but I expect to get a fair deal. This experience was very disappointing and left me feeling that customer satisfaction is not a priority. There are plenty of other options in Maida Vale and I will not be a customer at Peppermint again.

Had lunch a couple of times now. First had a chicken wrap which was very good indeed. Today had aubergine dip, fresh bread, pumpkin kibbe and falafel. Every item was fresh and delicious. Basically I'd move in here in if I could.

Great breakfast including croissant, great granola with lots of fruit, very good cappuccino, freshly made juice, etc. Very friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, clean restaurant.

We stopped here a few times before getting on the underground and it had the best breakfast sandwiches and coffee in the area.

Delicious! I had heard good things about this cafe, so came for a visit. The fruit salad was no longer on the menu, but they were happy to make me one on the spot, and the fruit was all delicious! The coffee and pastries were also excellent. I will be returning frequently.

Known about this place ever since it opened but never gave it a chance until now. Went with my brother and from the first moment we felt very welcomed by the waitress (who I’m guilty of not knowing her name!). She was very attentive, polite and always had a smile, even though it was relatively busy. Everything was reasonably priced (could be cheaper) and you did not feel like you’re in a rush to eat and leave. From the peppermint tea and cappuccino, to the poached eggs of the benedict it was a pleasure dining here. This was topped off with the lovely and soft centred home-made oatmeal muffin and almond croissant. Maybe I was hesitant to visit here as it always seemed busy but I will definitely wait for a table next time!

Spotted this café by chance whilst walking to the tube. Best surprise of the day ! Quiche and Greek salad homemade, fresh and very tasty. Dessert was homemade cakes and capucinno. Service was friendly, fast and efficient. Really lovely place and a pleasure to recommend

Whenever I fancy a good cappuccino - which they consistently make good - for breakfast, this is the right place to go. They’ve also a good selection of pastries. The staff is friendly and courteous, definitely recommend a visit.

Had breakfast here. Interior decor is really well done and soothing with a strong presence of pastel colours. Coffee was too milky and scrambled eggs lacked flavour. If this restaurant improved the quality of their food and coffee it would be a real gem.
