We have had many meals here and always come back because the food is really good, it has friendly staff and a great atmosphere. This pub / restaurant was the first place we headed to after lockdown

Food was absolutely incredible and staff very helpful. We went in on a Monday evening and will definitely return. Food menu very affordable and the quality makes it a must visit.

The first waiter was attentive but the other server had zero customer service skills. He did not bother to check in with us and we had to keep calling him over. The food was beautifully presented; but most of it was stale. Should not then slap on a £6.00 per head service charge in addition to this. I was unable to eat most of the food due to the state it was delivered in. The bubbles however were the best part of the meal as well as the lobster rolls. Would not recommend this unfortunately.

We booked several rooms for my daughter’s wedding week and couldn’t have been happier. Kate and the staff were fantastic and the rooms are beautifully appointed. The bar staff were helpful and friendly, making us feel like family. I can’t recommend the Rose and Crown highly enough!

One of the best pubs we found. The two young gentlemen at the bar were very helpful and made for a fun evening. When I'm here again I'll at least stop by for a beer.

Insanely good and healthy lamb chops!

I get coffee here on my way to work a couple of times a week. It's great coffee, the service is always excellent and with a smile and the cookies and pastries are delicious! The price is a bit high, particularly due to the surcharge for non-dairy milk, but ok for a treat a couple of times a week.
