They had a stand at the Apple fest in Fulham Palace garden. We queued for ages to be told at the end they’d run out of burgers. The person serving was exceptionally rude and surly, was very abrupt with his assistant and was over heard to say don’t worry about the queue they’ll wait. Unbelievably bad.

Incredible to find this place I had an appointment near by and I was early that is how I went in this place I thought I have found paradise. I had an incredible kiwi croissant the best ever. We cannot say the same for my cappuccino but it was a positive experience. I went back but kiwi disappeared pity!

I saw an elderly man struggling with a tiny dog and a walking stick , he asked the server if she could help him and bring his coffee to his table . She refused and he got frustrated . Then the huge man in charge started shouting at the elderly man at the top of his voice . Really disturbing lack of respect to the elderly man with mobility issues. They shouldn’t be let loose on the public .

I asked about the Lemon Drizzle cake, and was informed how moist it was; and to be honest, it beats most hands down. It was a piece of indulgence that I will partake in again.

I wanted to share this little star of a bakery/ cafe. Tried a few things here, absolutely loved their ham quiche, packed full of ingredients ham, mushrooms, blank olives, great size portions! Delicious hot flat white too. Tried some cakes that were fresh & very flavoursome. Service was quick & friendly , will definitely be back.

The bread can not be faulted. The choice of food, if you wanted to eat there is not that exciting. The service can be a little vague at times.

I ordered an almond croissant to take away and it was more like a biscuit, it was so hard and dry. They covered it with so much icing sugar so that you couldn’t tell when ordering that they were so dark. These shouldn’t have been served. This was pre 9am so there’s no excuse.

My go to bakery for both bread and pastries. Excellent baking, especially their signature Kuign Amans. Their sourdough pizzas are also delicious and well worth trying. And the personnel are absolutely lovely. Highly recommended!

Wandered up the Wandsworth Bridge Road late evening on a lockdown Sunday. The Bridge Baker was one on the few places open. Ordered a Gluten free, take away pizza, just as they were about to close. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Pizza (Ham & Mushroom) was great. Cakes and bread look excellent. I look forward to visiting the Bridge Baker again in happier times.

I've been going to Bridge Baker since it opened last year for coffee / breakie and it was a great addition to the neighbourhood. The cinnamon rolls seem to get larger every week and veggie roll is also super tasty. The owner Gauri & her team are always welcoming. The addition of the pizzas in the evening is also a welcome bonus, especially as they get some of their topping from Randalls butchers over the road. 6 of us went last month and had a great time with many bottles of vino to boot. Cheers

Superb pizzas. We had the The Allotment (veg) and The Italian. The wine was excellent - the Williams Chase Rose. The tiramisu was delicious. The service is very good and we are regulars as it is in our neighbourhood. Parking is available in the lanes nearby.

Very friendly staff and great food/coffee. The only downside is the lack of vegan options (only one available).

What an absolute change it is that have Eggs Benedict made with real fresh bread - Like your Granny used to make - & - get this - Hollandaise Sauce made from scratch - Not a jar in sight! Such a refreshing change to eat “Real Food” that make your taste buds appreciate - Lovely - I am going to make it a local haunt for my family & friends for breakfast when they visit - Thank you!!!

Popped in for coffee and toast on way to work. It feels a little bit disorganised. They tend to know their locals but maybe not thinking about new customers or perhaps just settling in as they are quite a new business. The coffee was rather weak, maybe too much water in the Americano or not enough shots. Toast came without butter so a man from the kitchen sort of threw some foil covered butter pats onto the table. Like I said , felt a bit chaotic, lots of staff buzzing around. Much prefer Gail’s where the coffee is 100% better.

This is a great addition to the Wandsworth Bridge Road. The croissants are delicious as was the rocky road. If you’re after a croissant go early as they do tend to go quickly at the weekends.

I went to the retro cafe Monday 12th February, 2024, with my sister as I wasn’t feeling well and wanted a good breakfast. I ordered mushrooms, eggs, beans, toast, and hash browns - as I could not order the full English because I do not eat pork and have not for 15 years. While eating my mushrooms I found a small but significantly sized piece of BACON in my food - which my sister checked and it was definitely a piece of pork bacon. As I was quite upset and began feeling quite sick - my sister called over the owner/manager to let him know (too kindly) that there was bacon in my meal and I do not eat meat. He looked at my face and actually smirked (wish I was kidding) and said “Well did you survive?” And laughed about his comment. I proceeded to tell him that it’s not about surviving and is about the fact that I do not eat meat and there was meat in the food - he then said “what, do you want a new one then?”. Absolutely not - in fact I would not eat a single thing from this place ever again, as this clearly is an establishment that does not care for its customers or allergens or food sensitivities. After I left, with ZERO apology made at all, the man said to my sister that it was my own fault that I didn’t state “I don’t eat pork” when ordering a meal that did not have pork in it! As if he would’ve made any change whatsoever to not contaminate the food. The meat and the non- meat is clearly all cooked together - so forget about it if you are a vegetarian or have any sort of allergy - and the awful manager is distinctly rude to customers so don’t expect a pleasant (or at all apologetic) experience.

He encontrado una gran alternativa a Costa.
