Terrace Cafe in Bromley

Visiting family for Christmas, (I'm from Lincolnshire), was shocked how rediculously expensive everything was in Bromley including even basic food, l could have a 3 course meal in Lincoln for price of a starter is some of the places here!! The Terrace Cafe was a breath of fresh air, really acceptable prices, big menu and good quality food, surprised also on the decent portion sizes. Not surprised they were busy! (I'm writing this review while still in the cafe). Well done guys.

Good food, with plenty of healthy options, at reasonable prices. And always a warm welcome and a pleasant atmosphere.

When visiting Bromley I love to visit this excellent cafe where you will find a massive choice on the menu that you will enjoy. All day breakfasts, vegetarian, lunch and dinner dishes, kebabs, burgers, salads etc., with non - alcoholic and alcoholic drinks available. Very reasonable prices and polite and attentive service. Give it a "go" and see what you think!!

Yo y mi novio desayunamos el mes pasado un sábado. No puedo decir que lo disfrutamos demasiado ya que el lugar olía un aceite frito denso. La comida estaba bien, pero el olor en la cafetería hacía que nuestro desayuno fuera realmente desagradable: (les recomiendo que no usen el mismo aceite una y otra vez y definitivamente compren un ambientador.

Plenty of choice on the menu, nicely cooked and reasonably priced. Friendly and efficient staff, and my only comment is that tea is served as a bag in a mug, making it a little like a transport cafe when it is a lot nicer than that.

Varies menu home cooked food and great value. Recently refurbished to a good standard would love to see even more choice of home cooked food ( trout, salmon maybe, and bright cushions, a few walls painted in brighter colours as well because o like this place and wish it even cozier and successful !

On visiting the cafe ,we placed our order fine,the waitress brought us our teas and a small jug of milk,we use some of it in our tea and the rest we left on table,befor our meal came the waitress without asking if we had finished with it picked up the jug than also went on to pick up a jug from another table again without asking,she than went on to pour the contents into a third jug than gave it to a customer, A bit off putting seeing them do that as we began to wonder how many tables that milk had been passed around to before it got to us.One of our meals came up wrong ,so took it back,brought it back having removed the wrong item,than had to wait a few minutes till they brought the other item,by than had eaten about a 3rd of dinner .Did speak to staff at end of meal on this matter

I was working in Bromley for a week and this was the nearest cafe. Gave it a try on day one and went back every day. Good choices on the menu, with daily specials and Mediterranean options too. Good size portions and reasonably priced. All freshly cooked to order.

Very friendly welcoming staff . Ordered omelette and a coffee. Freshly cooked omelette served with chips and salad . Nicely presented . Coffee was strong but lovely. Will certainly revisit . Thank you .

On first impressions as someone from Kent I'm used to lots of food for not a lot of money but this little high street cafe offered a varied menu of not just English breakfast but Mediterranean options and vegetarian aswell...got seated and lots of people sitting down without drinks or food which worried me ..but then all of a sudden one of the waitresses was off like a shot .. Bang coffees....wallop there's your food and bosh there's a clean table ... absolutely thoroughly satisfied with my meal and even through pricey compared to what im used to would def nicely go again..

We visit this cafe regularly as the service, cost and food are excellent. They make the best lattes in Bromley and the fry ups are value for money. The staff are always friendly and ready to go the extra mile.

A great selection of food, which tastes very good! Inexpensive and friendly staff. I'd recommend if you want a nice, easy meal!

Came here for lunch with a friend. Friendly waitresses and quick service. Nice leisurely lunch and good value.

Came here for a lovely breakfast this week we had omelettes and lovely coffees. Will come again when in town.

Situated near to Bromley Market Square, this café offers a good range of meals at reasonable prices. The service is good and the café well decorated.

Started coming here 2 years ago. Always had lovely food. Never greasy like most cafes. Nice coffee from a machine with froth. Option to sit out back in the sun. Good choice of food. Reasonably priced. Best in Bromley I find.

Fuimos allí el pasado lunes, con un bebé, pedí la silla alta, y cuando llegamos estaba sucio con grasa, así que comer con el bebé en mi regazo. Pasamos de 10 libras en 2 desayunos, tocino demasiado salados, pero sin duda un boliche, así que ¿qué esperas?

I have been walking past this café for the past 3 years and today I fancied a full English breakfast. I went in for a takeaway and asked for a coffee to drink in while I wait for my food and a very milky coffee...

I've been coming here for years with others and on my own. A great little place with friendly staff, a great menu and tasty, fantastically priced and quickly served food.Would absolutely choose here for an informal catch up lunch. Haven't been able to fault it in 9 years!Highly recommended

So lucky this little gem is just around the corner from work! The all day breakfasts are so good I haven't yet strayed away from this side of the menu. In addition to British stalwarts, they also have three great Mediterranean breakfasts, one with halloumi and sujuk, one with borek, and the other with menemen. The staff are friendly, the place is very clean, and you can eat very well for under five pounds. A total win.

I ate at this cafe this weeks and really enjoyed it, very fair prices and good hearty food great coffee, and a nice atmosphere. The staff were helpful and polite. A place I will go back to for sure.

We decided to try this cafe out for breakfast based on the other reviews and were not disappointed. Flexible menu (british/meditaranean), great prices, great tasting food. Best of all, the garden is now open at the back of the cafe where we basked in the sunshine for an hour after finishing off the food and the experience really didn't differ from our time in Cyprus a month earlier!I also work across the road and had lunch here. As impressed :)

We decided to go to this restaurant for lunch, we had been there before and it has been ok but as not coming from this area had not been for a couple of years so we wondered if it had changed, it has, for the better. Obviously since we were last here it has changed hands.The staff were very friendly and helpful and even though the restaurant was packed - we got last table - there was no rush to get us to order, however, as soon as we were ready they were there to take it.We only had Jacket potatoes for lunch, I with Tuna and Sweetcorn my wife with Prawn Mayo the jackets that arrived were nice and hot with plenty of filing so much so that it was hard to see my wives potato under the Prawns, it also comes with literally a full salad, we also had mugs of tea, which were also served hot. The whole cost of this was less than ten pounds which makes it very good value for money and I would recommend this restaurant to any one in the Bromley area

I was in Bromley late morning and feeling peckish. I had a bit of a craving for a fry up and happened to be near Terrace Cafe at the time.Staff were friendly as I entered and told me to take a seat and have a look at the menu.There was a 5 item breakfast for 4.95, which included bread or toast and unlimited tea or coffee. I plumped for this and chose sausage, bacon, fried egg, black pudding and hash brown.I was quickly served my tea and toast - lovely thick doorstep slices, and the rest of it soon followed. I was expecting to just get one of each of the five items I ordered, but I was given two hash browns, rashers of bacon and black pudding slices. This made it even better value!The food was lovely, service excellent and this amount of food for less that five pounds is great value. I didn't feel hungry for quite some time afterwards!I'll definitely go back here if I'm in the area.

2people for £10 with big breakfast plate,drink,bread everything included... just unbelievable!!!Best breakfast cafe in south east London and best breakfast offers..also lovely shawarma kebaps Fridays and Saturdays midnight after clubbing at bibas:)
