The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in East of England

Pick some stuff up at the industrial estate and came across this cafe and had a lovely traditional breakfast and was amazing. The staff are very friendly and it’s clean . The decor is bare but it is an industrial cafe . The tea was lovely and hot and just the way I drink it . I’ll definitely will visit again xxxxxxxx

Shocking place, misleading advertising saying cafe serving hot n cold food, cafe permanently closed, charging £5 for a shower outrageous. Coopers only in this to rip pple off, total disregard for welfare of fellow truck drivers.

We walked past and decided to pop in to have the cheesecake that was being advertised in the window. The board said “all cheesecakes £1”. After ordering milkshakes for the kids who were then suitably excited, it appears that the lady serving decided not to honour the sign. We were charged full price for the cheesecake. There were only two people working and the wait time for us was about 20 mins.

Thank you so much! finger buffet was well thought out and lots of it. Not a dry sandwich insight. Catered and labelled dairy free , vegan and vegetarian trays and kept them to one end to avoid mixing. Tasty food and on budget. Delivered and set up for us.

My wife and I visited Keysoe International cafe for lunch in June 2024. We found the food and service to be of excellent quality and good value. It was also extremely interesting to see top class show jumpers practicing from our table in the outside seating area. The coffees were also top class. Well done Keysoe, a much needed foodie venue in the area.

Hi.i waited for my daughter at The Old Spring. The bar lady was so kind. My daughter was late arriving for lunch so I said we can just have nibbles. The Chef said no! I’m cooking The most gorgeous Greek wraps with Chicken and Greek cheese was the most amazing food my daughter and I have ever tasted.Living in Greece summer after summer we had forgotten how Greek food is I irreplaceable Only Thursdays nd m’ Fridays Greek option if you wish . Very tasty slow cooked ribs, we had melted in your mouth. Friendly staff.

We met some old friends for a drink and food at the Kings Arms in Crouch street. The pub itself is very pleasant and the staff were very pleasant as well. We decided to order food. I ordered the Scampi at £15 and the ladies each ordered the grilled cheese which was £10.at that price I was expecting a really exceptional Grilled Cheeses with artisan bread and great cheese and a nice side salad. Describes as “ A medley of mature cheddar cheese and emmentsl with bechemel sauce in a toasted farmhouse loaf”….What they actually received was beyond appalling, 2 slices of processed white bread with a slice of plastic processed cheese no obvious sauce and a small bland salad.. I’ve had similar cheap toasties before , typically paying £2.50-£3 but to charge £30 for these sandwiches is nothing short of criminal. The scampi came with 13 chips and 7 normal pieces of scampi and 3 tiny pieces that were 90% breadcrumbs. Compared to other local pubs such as the Princess Charlotte this was similar to the “light version”. I would never recommend eating at this pub although as a drinking hole it’s very pleasant .

A busy Costa on the high street. Gets plenty of visitors and starts to get pretty full by lunchtime, so getting served can sometimes take time. But it's a great coffee shop. Plenty of tables to sit at and it has a toilet. Great selection of food reasonably priced.

Another local pub close to me. Always serves a decent pint of lager and seem very friendly. Very handy for parking at the station too and paying inside, cheaper than the station car park!

Edit. Returned from our walk 2 hrs later and went from 1* to 5*. Great service on the return. Waited for a good five minutes at the bar, no one there to serve. Rang the little bell on the counter to no avail. Walked out again

The staff was helpful and friendly. Very clean. The music was not too loud. The cocktails were very good. A nice place to spend a couple of hours and have some drinks

First time there and was well impressed with the layout and the amount of shops. Knocks Basingstoke shopping mall out of the park
