Went to The Red Lion, it's got a lovely big beer garden lots of families, the food was cheap pub grub which was nice, wasn't much of a wait, staff were very friendly I would go back.

I don't have enough info to give you a review of a specific dessert shop, but I can tell you some things that people generally look for in a good one! People usually want a variety of fresh, tasty desserts. Cleanliness and a nice atmosphere are important too. Good service always makes a difference, and reasonable prices are a plus. From start to finish the service I received from Evie was second to none, I contacted Evie at short notice for an event and Evie went above and beyond to accommodate the event and make sure that it run smoothly and with ease. The service, food and care from the team on the day was fantastic and I cannot thank the team enough. I would recommend the brassiere to anybody thinking of hosting an event. A wonderful place to completely disconnect from everyday life. Cloverdale Retreat is the kind of spot you visit once and instantly want to come back to. Peace, quiet, and closeness to nature – everything here creates an atmosphere that truly lets you reset. The cabins are very well equipped – clean, comfortable, and cozy. You can tell the owners put their heart into this place. There are thoughtful little touches that make a difference – soft blankets, warm lighting, fresh-smelling bedding, and even local products in the kitchen. The surroundings are stunning – perfect for walks, morning coffee on the terrace, or evenings by the fire. We were lucky with the weather, and the night sky was incredible – we could even see the Milky Way. The service was lovely, very helpful but never intrusive – exactly how it should be. I genuinely felt like a guest who was being taken care of. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort with nature, far from the noise of everyday life, I absolutely recommend Cloverdale Retreat. It’s perfect for a romantic getaway or some peaceful time off the grid.
