The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in East of England

A 15 minute wait to order, and then a HALF AN HOUR for a single bacon roll. Food was ok but you can’t really go wrong with a bacon roll🥲. Service was absolutely awful, although staff were kind they didn’t seem to be doing much to hurry along with their job, serving food. I and another man went in to ask after about 20 minutes, and they said they would check if they had it. Another 10 minutes later, they finally came out with a steaming hot bacon roll, as if they had forgotten to cook it and that my nudge was a reminder? Bacon takes about 6 minutes to cook. NOT.THAT.HARD. You would’ve thought that with all of the clout and popularity they receive, that they would know how to organise a cafe, they don’t.

Came here yesterday food was fantastic wait wasn't too long either! Will defo come again! Beer on tap was great to!

Pub located few minutes walk from Southwold town centre, just round corner from the lighthouse. Old style decor with super friendly staff/owners?. Good place for a drinks and lunch/snack/dinner stop in a quiet location. In Southwold

Very impressed with this for a corporate do. I've not been this side of town for many years. Parking after 5pm wasn't a problem, surprisingly. Greeted on arrival, handed our 3 drink tokens, then upstairs for some fun. Back downstairs for food, which I must say was excellent. 15 of us and no complaints.

This place is a hidden gem. Stop here and don't drive past. The new owners are lovely, the chef is amazing and the food is homemade with love. They all took the time to talk to us which was so nice. We visited twice, first time with my parents for Sunday dinner. We had 2 lamb dinners with all the trimmings, a steak pie, and fish and chips. So tasty, generous portions, and great value for money. We couldn't wait to go back and my wife and I visited again on the last day of our holiday. We had been looking forward to it and were not disappointed. We had lasagne, and wild mushroom and spinach risotto (I added chicken and prawns). It was undoubtedly restaurant quality. My wife who is a self confessed connoisseur of lasagne said it was better than any she has eaten, including in Italy, high praise indeed. We cannot wait to go back the next time we are in the lakes, or might even make a special 4 hour round trip because it was that good.

We go here fairly often for afternoon drinks as it’s local but the service just gets worse. I stood at the bar for at least 10 mins Friday afternoon while 2 barmaids served one party all the while ignoring me, it’s not hard to say “sorry, I’ll be with you as soon as possible”.

Really disappointed with lack of communication and service ... Asked about seating outside and to get food and was told of a small side area outside at the pub where we could sit that was enclosed during to having little ones. When went to order food was told kitchen was closed for 10 minutes during to a big table which was fine so ordered drinks... When went back to order was told we couldn't eat outside ... Really disappointed they couldn't not communicate this with me at the beginning when I first asked. But the actually pub inside seemed nice and clean and the food did look good ... Shame about the rest

There is this lady who works there, unsure of her name, but her description is around 5ft 10, doesn't wear glasses, black hair usually gelled back, she has so much attitude, Caffè Nero needs to get rid of her, as she's letting you down! When I find her name out, I will name and shame. Otherwise, all the other staff are amazing.

Food is always top notch there. Staff are always lovely and friendly. I would not go anywhere else for decent food in Bury. You don't get no small portions there. All my coach driver and hgv colleagues go there also if they are in the area. Food is always freshly cooked too.

Wow, amazing fish and chips, probably the best I've had in years. Amazing pub with fantastic staff and talented chefs. Will definitely be back!

Cheapest beer in the city. Veteran friendly, no food.

The worst mixed grill I have ever eaten. Egg: undercooked. Sausage & burger: inedible. Tomato: barely cooked. Chips; not freshly cooked. Peas: hard. Mushrooms: ok. £13.95. It wasn’t cheap, you should be using better quality sausages and burgers.

Went for sunday lunch, 3 had roast that was served cold , had to be returned to be reheated. One of the party opted for steak , this was a mistake , it was full of gristle , uneatable ,taken home for the dog . Would have walked out but for the fact we were with friends. Staff ere pleasant . Wont be going again .
