LIMITED TIME ONLY!! Who would have thought the pub food from here would SLAP! I didn’t have high hopes cause I mean 8 wings for £9 is unbelievable. They had so many choices of flavour. The chicken burger was so crispy and nothing can go wrong with cheesy sweet potatoes fries. It’s a shame the vendor is closing in few weeks so make sure to pop in for a bite whilst you can! Pub wise- lots of seatings inside and some outdoors too, dog friendly, clean toilets, excellent service from bartender and on Wednesday the pool are free.

Bank Holiday Monday Sarah Moore kids club! Mostly underage girls and boys drinking swearing shouting and even vaping! Terrible place wouldn’t go again if you paid me! This place won’t be about much longer!

Sue and Jamie get a special mention as I see them regularly and have a chat when I go in. The pub has a pool table with free pool Mondays. My kids love playing pool there. What I love most about this pub is that it’s dog friendly and child friendly. The pub never has any stale alcohol smells, it’s always clean and fresh. It’s very spacious and always plays my favourite football games and all other sports. I recently arranged a singles meet from a Facebook group and they all loved the atmosphere. I’ve just arranged another one and will reserve some tables. Highly recommend.

Long wait to get a pint, tables and bar are very sticky, whole place looks really dirty and Very expensive... Looks like the new management will not last long, because they have no idea what they are doing..

Not great really. About 7 TV’s all showing the football. Not a cosy pub environment and a bit grubby, smelled bad. Barman was nice

I just wanted to say, thank you to Joley for making my birthday celebrations so special. Thank you for the quick service and making the night so enjoyable I would definitely recommend this pub to my family and friends.

Been a while since we last visited, but appears a lot has changed. All for the good! It’s in the process of being decorated, updated tvs, two projectors. You can see a lot of work has gone in behind the scenes!! Bar staff are an asset to their employer, Jamie and his team couldn’t have done any more. Very pleased and will be returning again soon for the football & rugby

Great variety of Gin’s, staff are welcoming and helpful. Lots of screens including 2 projectors to be able to watch multiple sports at once! Making this place my local .. Would highly recommend!

Great spot for families during the day or friends late evening. Dogs welcome to :) . The barman Jamie couldn’t of been any more helpful, even providing s drink for our furry friend. We’ve been in a few times over Christmas and will be sure to return again soon. Especially now they’ve got 2 projectors for all the live sport!

No Guiness, No Ale, no Coffee, No Tea. I can not drink anything with fizz all was given as a choice was J20 or Water. There wasn't even an Alcohol free option of an Ale or Guiness.

Busy Saturday night. One fantastic lady barmaid,who was rushed off her feet due too 2 lazy barmen who picked and chose who and when they served. At times 30 mins wait for a drink,and at 5.95 a pint it was expensive. Had a dj who was completely out of touch with the room.

Waited around 10 minutes at the bar whilst the barman served others and then proceeded to serve his friends ahead of me, although they had only just come to the bar. There was no acknowledgement of my presence so just walked out and won't return

The first two ladies toilets on the right don't lock properly... Other than this, good pub showing sports with pool table and darts available. Just need to fix the locks on ladies toilets

Bar staff to interested in chatting to serving regulars also woman smashing glass around. Clearly a regular also.. won't be going back this pub has gone downhill and should be avoided like the plague. Was once a nice pub now shame

Stopped in for dinner and had a great meal. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu offering great recommendations.

Monday night free pool night. Last time I had food there it was very nice. Staff friendly. Reasonable range of beers. Good location for Broadway, paid parking just behind.

Hay Ho, its a nice, decent pub but at £5.70 for a Jd and coke its hardly on the cheap side. There was live music which raised it up to the three star rating. Not sure about the barman drinking behind the bar but as above, Hay Ho. It is what it is.

Popped in on teh off chance and what a lovely pub. The drinks were great and a good atmosphere. Will be back again.

Enjoyed the football here with friends and several beers. Great range of bar food available, new big TV screens and great service. Definitely my new favourite local. It's a great clean friendly night out now. I'll be back.

It's ok, I found it a bit bright not much atmosphere. Had 1 pint and left.

I called ahead and booked a table for 6pm. I was asked if I was booking to eat in, to which I said yes. We arrived just before 6pm, and were told the kitchen was closed with no explanation given. The bloke on the phone did not say the kitchen would be closed and instead confirmed our booking. If the kitchen closed due to insufficient bookings, then the bloke on the phone should've told me that this was a possibility or that they weren't taking bookings that night... completely illogical, and useless staff.

Visited Sunday for lunch. Only one lady serving so had to wait to get served lots of items not available on the menu but probably not there fault with all the strikes going on.cant say I'd return was rather dull with zero atmosphere

One member of staff working the bar with a queue of 8 people wanting drinks. Pretty dull pub. The Broadway is 1 minute away and it's cheaper and more fun and doesn't take 20 minutes to get a round in

Food was very tasty! Went with the family and amongst us had a korma curry, a chicken burger and a beef burger - all delicious! Atmosphere of the pub was very nice and the staff were very friendly!

The only reason I have given this pub a 2 is that the food was OK when it arrived. 35 mins and no one else ordering food. The place needs a thorough clean. This was taken after wiping the table. When I gave the filthy wet wipe to her she said they had a children's party the day before. This was the second wipe.

I arrived here on my own and was made to feel very welcome , was a pit stop on my way home for food , if I ever pass here again will definitely pop in , cannot recommend enough

Music too loud for such a small venue. Should be about the meeting with pals and talking rubbish, not shouting to hear yourself speak at 6.30

Looks better now and has a pool table which is a massive bonus in my eyes. It's only the 2nd one in Leigh outside the private clubs.😊

Stopped off here for a few cocktails with friends. Great atmosphere and even better buffalo wings! Can't fault the service, will definitely be back again soon.

Food was much better than I expected. Selection was good. Prices fair. Landlady nice. Carpet needs replacing but otherwise very nice. Would certainly return.

Nice enough place, but in quieter periods few staff on, so seems to take ages to get drinks. Eaten there a few times, but one time took almost an hour to get food. Wasn't able to sit and eat, so asked to have packed up to take, which they did.

My beer tasted and looked like sarsons vinegar. There was no food available and the beer gave me gut rot. Very loud gang of lads playing pool and the light in the corner of the room was ready for Halloween several months early. Large cobwebs there. If that is a demonstration of how often the front of house is cleaned, think how often the beer lines are cleaned. Very disappointing from this pubco.

My partner and I had our engagement party here. It was free to reserve a space and the staff were more than helpful and very friendly. The food is always good and the drinks are reasonable prices. Will always recommend this place to anyone!

Good food not expensive very friendly staff, would certainly go again. We had been to leigh on sea to visit a friend and wandered down to Old Leigh, thought we would have a meal there, prices a bit expensive for us. So luckily we googled and found the Sarah Moore.

We went to the Sarah Moore Sunday to watch the football. The staff were friendly and the food we had delicious.

I like the way it's set out. Lots of people there so good atmosphere and plenty of seating in different sections and settings. Companion had the roast and it looked very generous, he described it as tasty. The vegetables looked fresh and were cooked to perfection. Only downside...I went for a toasted sandwich with roasted peppers and guacamole which was disappointing. Lost a star for that...shame

I had Sunday roast chicken at the Sarah Moore today, it was lovely, very hot, plentiful and fresh. Value for money. The staff are very friendly and helpful, as are the other customers. I would recommend giving it a try.
