Very nice and cosy place, we were welcomed with a small child and stroller was no problem. The staff was super nice and helpful. Food was very tasty and we didn’t wait long. We had some traditional dishes, as far as English cousine goes the food was good, not oversized neither small. Really nothing to complain about. Thank you very much

This is a favourite local or ours and even though they were super busy today, the service is always 5* and nothing is too much for them. Service with a smile - always. This place also does the best coffees. Thank you again

Been using this coffee shop for years as a local Chorleywood resident, but please note do not complain or send anything back as you risk rudeness from the young man. My experience this morning is by way of example. I thought poached eggs should be soft not hard but when taken back, instead of politely replacing them he threw the entire meal in the bin and said he would not be replacing it. Sorry, but no way to treat a customer! Complaining about being busy is no excuse. I should have thought he’d be happy to have customers. (Actually, not that busy at 10.30 anyway.) If you can’t take the pressure with courtesy , you’re in the wrong business. Well he now has three less customers to worry about in the future.

Met a friend for a cuppa in the middle of the afternoon. Great hot chocolate. Accommodated our requested for some frothy milk for my friends toddler, which they didn’t charge for. Would definitely return.

Having eaten at top restaurants around the capital cities in dozens of countries, the Mill End Cafe has always come out top for several years now. Proper English fare which just cannot be beaten. The fastest service you'll find anywhere. Try it, You'll love it.

Very friendly from the moment we walked in. Excellent service, and the best omelette and chips I’ve had in a very long time. I’m not local but if I was in the area again that’s where I’d go for lunch

A lovely little pub, not far from the City Centre with amazing food. The service by our lovely waitress Cariad was excellent and we had a very pleasant chat about the rugby! Gorgeous atmosphere and will be returning again soon

Came here for food the first night of a weekend away and it was a great choice. Lovely food (halloumi fries and salmon), honestly some of the best salmon I've had. My boyfriebs enjoyed his steak too. We also had great service; I became quite faint halfway through my meal and the staff were so attentive, bringing me water and letting me lay down in a quieter area. Everyone was so friendly and made us feel welcome. The drinks were reasonably priced and we even enjoyed a game of trivial pursuit in the bar after our meal. Would happily come again if we're in the area
