Great location, friendly staff and plenty of them, most accommodating, felt very covid safe will be visiting again

I have been here a number of times over the last year or so a d have never been disappointed. I can’t comment on their meat but their range of vegetarian and vegan food is the best in the village. The drinks are varied and very interesting and the range of cakes varies every day. Check out their Instagram to see what cakes are available on any given day.There is also a range of flour, pasta and sauces to buy should that take your fancy. The staff are always friendly and follow the correct COVID protocols. My daughter has her own loyalty card as she loves the place so much.

Lost count of the amount of times we’ve been to Perch! We love it here, the coffee, food and service is always brilliant!

........visited on Saturday evening with friends and had a superb meal with no meat !!This was a 'jazz' evening (I'm not a jazz fan), the atmosphere was brilliant, cosy and friendly.We enjoyed boards of bread, cheeses, tomatoes, salad, humus all washed down with lashings of cold beer - IT WAS FAB !!Will definitely be going again and I advise you to try it too at any time of day.Sophie and James' hospitality is second to none and a wonderful time was had by everyone on the night and it was full !!

We visit Perch a lot and love the delicious, freshly cooked food. They cater really well for vegetarians and vegans and regularly have specials in addition to the menu so there’s often something new to try. The staff are all really friendly and helpful so we find it a lovely relaxed environment, which is especially good for us as we have a toddler and baby with us. Dogs are also welcome. Space is a bit tight so there isn’t a baby change table so bear that in mind and get organised accordingly!

I stumbled upon Perch and Co by chance with some friends that i was visiting in the area. What a gem! Care and attention has been given to every little aspect of both food and service to make this offering both unique and different. the food was high-end and homely. it caters for every taste with the entire experiencing making you feel like they are catering just for you. the biggest surprise for my friends and i was the price. Value for money in our view was the cherry on they cake, literally.Thank you Perch and Co for making our visit such a personal and pleasant experience. i sometimes feel like driving all the way from London just to try your home-made treats.

Had a work leaving party and the atmosphere was brilliant. Amazing service and wonderful music. Good vibes.

A great place for those with dietary needs. Four vegan cakes to choose from. Nice breakfasts and sandwiches. Needs more non vegan cakes for more of a balance.

I love Perch. Easily my favourite cafe! The staff, the decor & the FOOD is just excellent. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Without a doubt my favourite place to grab some breakfast or brunch! Food is always consistent and taste amazing and fresh!!! Poached eggs are the best ever and if you haven’t tried the homemade chilli jam then you haven’t even lived!!!!!Atmosphere is always a vibe, staff are very accommodating and lovely, music is always good too!Always my go to when I fancy a decent brunch and will always bring family or friends visiting the area to here too!Dogs welcome also and the cutest little sun trap in the garden for when the weather gets warmer.Just the best 10/10!!!!!

Went to the Perch for late breakfast, I love fresh, Veggie brunchie food whereas my husband loves the big builders full English breakfast- the Perch caters beautifully for both. The food was fresh, beautifully cooked in front of us, and was of great quality, service was excellent, great coffee, friendly knowledgeable staff, cafe is quirky and clean.

Went for the 1st time today. We were 2 of 6 people in the establishment . Ordered tea for two which took 10 minutes to order then a further 15 minutes to arrive. 10 minutes later asked what we would like to eat. 30 minutes later food arrived . Waitress then dropped my food on the table ( Bless her, see did feel terible and could not have apologised enough and did offer to replace it but quite frankly I still had to get through Christmas and felt I would still be here in the new year if I accepted her offer ) . So food and drink are not meant to be consummed together.

Perch&Co; is a credit to the area. The food is wonderful, fresh and reasonably priced. The coffee is superb.

Myself and a friend visited for brunch and coffee today. No problem getting a table, nice atmosphere, clean, simple furnishings. Excellent service from the team, polite, friendly and charming. Food arrived fairly quickly and was delicious, good quality and very tasty full English breakfasts. The sourdough toast in particular was lovely. Coffee was also how it should be, hot and powerful in a large cup. Will definitely come back.

My husband and I researched a number of independent cafes and restaurants locally, looking for catering for our daughters pre-wedding breakfast before the big day, for 10 people at our home. We were so happy with Perch & Co, they were the first to reply back to us, offered a very smart, colourful and professional proposal which includes prices, menu’s etc. We ordered such a range of dishes, smoked salmon, smashed avocados, haloumi, eggs, it was all just delicious. The fact that the owner Sophie did this herself ensured we had the best start to the day, we are very grateful. We all had a glass of champagne with our breakfast, Perch & Co started us off to what was a great day. Thank you so much!

Came for the first time, after a recommendation from a friend. I live in the area, but have never been, and was a pleasant surprise. Also, bonus for my friends who came from London, as it’s a short walk from the tube station.

My first visit. It was a cold day. Ordered a hot drink which came in a small cup and was warm and did not taste like what i Ordered. And the price was too much for a little cup. Lunch was ok. Doubt I will visit again.

Always love going to Perch & Co, great coffee and the food is delicious. Cakes are some of the best I've had! Highly recommended

Just got around to writing a review about this great cafe in Croxley Green, near Watford.

Quaint and tranquil, Perch & Co is a nice, chilled place to collect oneself and enjoy great grub. We stopped in after getting the train back from a busy day in London and were impressed by the polite, non intrusive service and the menu selection. Huevos Rancheros for the win!

On holiday from Pembrokeshire visiting Family and called into Perch and co. What a lovely surprise. Superb breakfast and first class friendly service. We were made very welcome

Always have the best food, fantastic service and amazing value! Highly recommend going for a lovely brunch/lunch or a slice of cake and coffee (the cakes are amazing)! My fav is the Oreo!

First time visit here with my mum and daughter. What a lovely place, I was so impressed! The staff were really helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. My daughter had a quesadilla with cheese and onion, she loved it, my mum had poached egg with avocado and chorizo on toast, she said it was delicious and I had an avocado, spinach, halloumi and hummus wrap which was yummy. They do a lovely cappuccino too. I will definitely be back to try the next thing on the menu.

So I visited recently as I had on many occasions before but I’ve never had the English Breakfast. I’ve had many English breakfasts so I do know what to expect! My breakfast came and it was just wet ( water from mushrooms and bacon) and under cooked except the pre- cooked, re- heated in the microwave sausage that was burnt; I had you use my knife to saw through it. The mushrooms under cooked and pale. The bacon I had to send back as it looked raw and soggy, it came back after around 7mins with a slightly cooked look but not much change. The Beans heated in the microwave which is not great. As I said I’ve been before and had a vegan breakfast and the mushroom and spinach hot wrap both very nice. How can you get an english breakfast so wrong? Perch & co is an open planned look so you can see everything that’s happening in the kitchenette area hence I could see the use of the microwave. Perch & co please invest in better equipment so you can make better English Breakfast.

I recently visited Perch & Co for one of their fantastic jazz nights, and had a wonderful time.

Love the food here. So much choice and they cater for pretty much and dietary needs. Lovely friendly atmosphere. The staff are lovely especially the owner Sophie. Great place to hire out for events to. Couldn’t recommend this place enough it’s absolutely fabulous

Had a fabulous breakfast with my daughter yesterday Plentiful and very well cooked - poached eggs were perfect. Daughter went for the halloumi breakfast but I saw a meaty meal on another table and that looked great as well

This is my second time at Perch&Co; and it was just as good the second time round. The cafe is welcoming and light with freshly prepared cakes, tarts and salads on display, inviting you to look at the menu. My friend and I went for the huevos rancheros, which interestingly comes with a toasted flatbread, and smashed avocado on toast with chorizo. All with a side order of chilli jam. Usually I worry about the amount of avocado I get with brunch but I needn't have worried here - there was lots of it, and it was delicious. I will definitely be going back.

Being new dog owners we are now more limited as to where we can eat out on a Sunday morning. I came across this cafe via a word of mouth recommendation. Although on a main road there is free parking for an hour by the pub opposite plus a couple of spaces outside.

I’ve eaten in this cafe several times over the last year. The food is always delicious and well priced and the service is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Have the eggs with chorizo 10/10, amazing bread! Lovely friendly cafe, great for breakfast, close to Croxley Station and good walking in the woods available just down the road. Will be back many times more.

I have always loved eating at this place - the food and service is always consistent, and I think Sophie's attitude towards cooking and healthy eating is great. A great place to write, eat, catch up, see friends and spen time with family. Highly recommended.

Had seen this cafe on Instagram and thought we'd spend our only day off having lunch here and we were pleased we did so.

What a nice little cafe .... just at the end of the small parade of shops in Croxley Green. I'd not noticed it before ... ( I'm not sure that either the name or the green colour make it stand out as a cafe/ eating place) .... I think I previously thought it was an office or an estate agents ... But I'm so glad I popped in ...... Friendly staff and a decent day-time menu ( Breakfasts and Lunch ), Spanish bias I think and some tasty eats ... all specially prepared for your order, so it does take a little longer than yr average fast foodie place. Great coffee, which does come swiftly .... and the food , when it arrives, is spot on !! Bit of outside seating at the rear which is nice if its warm. I shall return !!

Had a nice breakfast! I enjoyed their attention to quality ingredients and friendly staff. I had a bacon sandwich and my other half had avocado on toast with chorizo, which which we would recommend! Looking forward to trying out everything else on offer.

I am a regular customer of Perch, always having a vegan breakfast cooked and served by the lovely owner and her friendly staff. Great menu up on the wall, caters for all dietary requirements. My omnivore friends love it too. The cakes and vegan treats also look delicious but I'm always too full up on breakfast to try them! I'll have to order a smaller meal some time :D Family and dog friendly.

Wonderful staff who are so happy to help. A great menu of home cooked food with locally sourced ingredients. A big list of teas and coffees and very pretty inside too. It has a lovely outdoor area. Fabulous!

Sophie and Will have a very special place in Croxley near the Metropolitan line station.

I was working in Croxley and decided to pop in, I had the spinach and mushroom quesadilla which was excellent. Have been back a few times and the food is always good and fresh. Really friendly staff as well.

Popped in for a freshly made spinach and mushroom quesadilla. Fresh baby spinach and nice chunks of Portobello mushroom with melted cheese and topped with homemade salsa and a dollop of sour cream! As delicious as it sounds. Plenty of choice for vegetarians and meat eaters and the tea and toast is lovely too! Prices are very reasonable too for such good quality food. Wish I had had room for the peanut butter brownies......

Popped in for lunch, struggled to choose because it all looked delicious. Had the eggs & spicy beans on sourdough bread, was short on time so took home some fab carrot cake. Thank you very much.

Stopped for tea and cake before a walk. Cake was delicious homemade. Large portion so needed a walk after! Very friendly staff and some evenings there is music. Small cafe but that's what makes it cosy and inviting.

We stopped here for breakfast while on the way to Heathrow from our friends' house. Good friendly service, spotlessly clean and an excellent service. All of our meals were good.

Came across this little cafe on my way through to Rickmansworth. The guy who served me was friendly enough, however my meal was quite poor. I wanted scrambled eggs on toast. What was served was more like an omelette served on the biggest doorstep of bread (the size of a brick) that's ever been served. If I ventured back, I certainly wouldn't order the eggs again. Coffee was decent enough.

Visited for lunch yesterday. One of us had a sandwich - doorstop doesn't begin to describe it - and the other had the most lovely courgette and basil fritatta accompanied by a great homemade coleslaw.

I have never left a review before however a week on and I am still dreaming of my lunch! I had 30 minutes to kill before heading in to London so I popped in. I assume it is newly opened as they were tweaking some signage and trying out new recipes. I wasn't sure what to order and they suggested I tried a new recipe frittata consisting of brie, sweet potato and roasted peppers. It was served with a healthy portion of salad and coleslaw and it was absolutely delicious! I was quite upset I didn't have the time to finish it all! They were making a new lentil dish and trying out the spice level so lucky me got to be guinea pig! Although slightly warm (not to everyone's taste) it was delicious. If I didn't live so far away I would eat here every lunch! The only thing I would suggest is to make it a little more homely as everything is quite minimalist, but I suppose that's a personal preference and they have recently opened (I think) :)

Stopped off on our way past to enjoy tasty veggie breakfast with egg, tomato, halloumi, mushrooms, beans and plenty of good toast. Great service and nice atmosphere. Good cups of tea too - we like our tea and they had a good varied menu of speciality options. They had high chairs for baby too. Back for cake next time.

A lovely little cafe where you're always assured a friendly welcome. Good choice of food and drinks.
