Morgan's Deli in Three Rivers

Been using this coffee shop for years as a local Chorleywood resident, but please note do not complain or send anything back as you risk rudeness from the young man. My experience this morning is by way of example. I thought poached eggs should be soft not hard but when taken back, instead of politely replacing them he threw the entire meal in the bin and said he would not be replacing it. Sorry, but no way to treat a customer! Complaining about being busy is no excuse. I should have thought he’d be happy to have customers. (Actually, not that busy at 10.30 anyway.) If you can’t take the pressure with courtesy , you’re in the wrong business. Well he now has three less customers to worry about in the future.

The perfect place for a post Heathrow drop ... travelling back to Essex and a small detour off the M25. After an emotional morning, a good breakfast needs. Just wanted to say thanks accommodating my request for a bulletproof coffee on Wednesday morning. It curbed my hunger and I managed a 16hr fast following drinking the coconut oil and lovely coffee blended together 😄

Brilliant coffee, fabulous breakfasts and great choices of lunch time snacks. A great meeting place, with free WiFi, friendly staff and inside and outside seating. A community gem to eat in or takeaway

Chorleywood is blessed with many cafes but this is a firm favourite with locals. There are no airs and graces, or modern gimmicks. This is a down-to-earth cafe serving good hot drinks, snacks and sandwiches as well as selling some deli foods like ham and cheese. My cappuccino was excellent. It’s popularity is demonstrated by the fact that it’s always busy. There’s some limited outside seating.

thought I’d drop by after visiting relatives in the village. the morning cuppa really sealed the deal for my trip to Chorleywood. good coffee. friendly staff. happy days. Graham

We called in for a coffee and found the place to be very pleasant. There are about three tables inside and the same outside, and the coffee is good. It looked like there was a fine range of tea, juice and smoothies and while we sat there, the sandwiches were proving to be popular. Nice staff.

These guys know how to make the perfect coffee. Real professionals. Love the free toast in the morning with my flat white. Lovely little place with great atmosphere. Excellent staff. Perfect coffee shop for the perfect village.

Serves really great coffee, and the sandwiches and cakes are amazing. The cakes are home made, and the sandwiches are all freshly made to order, with a delicious combination of fresh, generous fillings. Super friendly staff, and if I'm there with my young son, he's made to feel very welcome.

Very good friendly and quick service. Excellent bread. Very little meat on the duck sandwich. Looks nothing like picture. Sandwich tastes good but needs at least another layer of meat so it could be tasted.

Great sandwiches and drinks (hot and cold). The sandwiches are made to order from fresh ingredients. Seating is not too tightly packed.

Fantastic place with proper coffee and a cheeky slice of free toast. Great staff. Always have a chat. Lunches are lovely with fresh sandwiches and a great selection of fillings.

Such good quality food and service. Always a pleasure to go in there. Chicken sandwich is a must.!! So much better than any of the other coffee shops and bakery's that keep popping up in the village.

I've been here a few times now. They do great sandwiches, my favourite is the mozzarella, olive, sundried tomato and salami, yum! Coffee is also great, and fresh juices too, "the Gwyneth" is the best I'd say. Always friendly and lovely, so worth it

El único inconveniente es que se llena de gente, así que a veces tienes que esperar por una mesa, pero no te preocupes solo para llevar y sentarse en Chorleywood común. Sólo una idea! Excelente ubicación en el pueblo y nunca decepciona. Mis dos hijos no puedo conseguir suficiente de los deliciosos bocadillos!

Me encanta este lugar. Me encanta el personal y la comida. Mis hijos son particularmente aficionados a las galletas, tartas, batidos y pan tostado. Me gusta el desayuno y bocadillos se le pueda permitir. Sí, es pequeño, pero siempre dentro de la pena el tiempo merodeando por un poco más y algún tipo villager le permitirá compartir su mesa.

Had a nice latte here recently and their cakes look great to have a slice of, unfortunately I didn't get a chance. Not very big inside at busy times getting a seat can be a challenge, but well worth it if you can.

Good deli offering great food with an Italian theme. All ingredients good quality and deli items available for home use. Cakes fab for those with a sweet tooth.

We use any excuse to have lunch or a coffee at this friendly deli. Thoroughly recommend the lemon grass tea with a slice of toasted avocado cake.

Great coffee and cake anytime of the day and perfect place for a morning coffee or a delicious lunch.

I use any excuse to pick up a coffee from Morgans Deli. Such good cappuccino's. And the selection of cakes are excellent - they look and taste home made and portions are generous. Friendly and efficient service from the staff.

Have visited many times with the kids, always a good selection available to eat in or take away, will keep coming by

Best deli I have been to by a long shot. Staff are delightful food is delicious. My friend and I don't live in Chorleywood but we travel there especially to go to Morgan's deli.we sit have a fab Brie and bacon sandwich and a healthy freshly squeezed juice. The naughty with the nice. I recommend anyone to go M&C

Always a nice welcome here - I do stick to my fav offering from this lovelie place - but there's a really nice choice on the menu - all freshly cooked in front of you - pity they are no longer open Sunday's

Our cafe latte and chai latte were excellent. The very tasty sandwiches are large and there is a good selection of vegigiterian options.

This quirky and modern coffee shop serve a variety of treats. It came recommended and didn't disappoint. Lovely salad with a fresh coffee - perfect for lunch or brunch!

Great deli store - shakes to die for and loads of choice on the menu for eat in or takeaway. worth a visit when in town.

Granted, Chorleywood has it's fair share of coffee joints, but Morgan's Deli is, rightly, the connoisseurs' choice. Great flat whites (made from ace source beans) lovingly crafted by Lauren and Dave. Plus, divine Tiffin slices and a Smoked Duck sandwich to die for. A real treat.

This coffee shop is certainly different. They are creative with the fillings. I especially like the duck breast with peanut butter. Yes sounds weird but tastes really good. They also do a lovely range of smoothies.

Im not sure what qualifies you as a regular customer, but am never served with a smile - always seem to busy for the amount of staff

Best sandwiches around. Love the chicken sandwich. Quality of food 100% consistent. Add that to the great and friendly service that keeps people going back for more.. I'd Eat there every day if I could...!!

Morgans seems like a really nice place, but having lived in Chorleywood for almost 2 years, we've only been there once - as on that occasion the service (for 2 coffees only) was painfully slow).

Morgan's sandwiches are always so filling and yum on a choice of breads and you can decide to have them toasted or not. The juices are also great, very refreshing and perfect for Summer!

My husband and I come here more than once a week, and we love it! The staff are always so friendly and helpful, and the food and coffee is exceptional. You can tell that Morgan's is a well thought of establishment, with all the local shop keepers and the local people coming for their coffee or lunch most days. My husband is very put out if we can't visit Morgan's on a Saturday morning for a coffee and a croissant! If you are ever in the area, you must visit!

My father is a regular goer at this well known deli, and he bought me here for the first time on the weekend. There was a busy friendly atmosphere with a sandwich that kept the hungry wolf from knocking at the door. Great coffee as well and a juice to cleanse after! Favourite place in chorleywood!

This place is always so busy, so I have to phone ahead and order.It's always ready when I arrive. A lovely mozzarella, olive, pesto, rocket combination on sour dough! Love it.Great for vegetarians, see you soon!

Had a wonderful sandwich served by the brilliant team at Morgan's. Best coffee in the area! - much better than rootz...

So, third visit to Morgan's Deli. Came for the coffee, came back for the food! Brought a friend after two solo lunches, sat outside in the sun and watched Chorleywood go by.We both had Juices - freshly blended and superb. Mine was tagged as an Apple-Tini and apart from the lack of vodka, it was perfect.Sandwiches were also really good - excellent breads, generously filled and served with a friendly smile. Mine: Pastrami, cheese, pickle and mustard on a nice chewy wholeweat, hers: Rosemary ham, taleggio, sunblush tomato on a crsiply toasted white.Finished off with cappucino and americano. These guys serve a good cup of coffee, just the right temperature to keep the flavour, and tastes like a good quality bean. Lunch for two - £19. Not cheap, but I'd rather have good quality food and pay for it, and it still seems good value for that.So there you are - if you feel the need for a nice deli lunch - give Morgan's a try.
