Atmosphere it's in a library what do you think? A quiet place to browse a book before deciding whether to take it home. Food and service are great. It is a charity cafe run by Watford Mencap.

Took the parents out on Sunday and visited Anwick Garden Centre. After having a wander around the Garden Centre and purchasing a few items, we went into the cafe to have a drink and chose to dine, as it was lunch time (13:30ish). I went with the house Cheese Burger and both parents went with the Sunday Roast (on this occasion Beef). I had a can of soda (Vimto) and the parents each had a pot of tea. Food wise, the burger was well cooked and chips and salad were also good and overall it was a great portion for the price. The parents both really enjoyed the beef and the roast potatoes, the only issue being the vegetables, both would have preferred it slightly more cooked, and father would have liked a slight larger vegetable portion. Overall though, we’ll be visiting again, and I would recommend a visit if you’re in the area…

Lovely, friendly pub serving quality food. We usually eat here when we are staying with friends in the village. I am always impressed. Great menu and a nice selection of ales and other drinks all at very reasonable prices. I recommend you try it if you are in the area.

If I could give this place 10 stars out 5 I would! Everything is amazing, the location is breath taking, the interiors are warm and welcoming with a mixture of cottage core and old English charm. I am intolerant to gluten and dairy but was spoilt for choice and for once didn't feel like I was making do with what I could actually eat, I had numerous choices and ordered a blueberry and rosemary scone, they even had vegan clotted cream. I was not disappointed when it arrived, it was one of the nicest scones I have ever eaten even before food intolerances started. I would recommend booking in advance as I would have come back the following day with family but it was booked out. The staff were super as well and very knowledgeable of the choices on offer. I just wish I lived closer to visit more!

Visit before it goes! Family’s, couples and I’ll even go on my own it’s that good. Burgers, breakfast, perfect all round! I genuinely love the place and they haven’t paid me a dime to say it! A diamond in the rough. Closing soon, so make the most of it whilst you can, I know I will!

We celebrated a friend's 60th birthday at the Bell Inn. It was a party of 17 including children of varying ages. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The food was spectacular in presentation and quality. The food and drinks were very reasonably priced. They had a fantastic back garden to retire to after the meal. For a small celebration, I would thoroughly recommend the Bell Inn. Excellent, thank you!
