My lady and I like this place very much indeed ... Lovely people and delicious food and drinks ... Very friendly and welcoming.

Read reviews and decided to travel out of Ely where we're staying to visit for breakfast. Breakfast and service excellent, so tasty. Toilet slightly let down the experience, but would go back.

Have visited here several times for coffee with clients but today I fancied a brunch so ordered the breakfast accompanied with a expresso and Americano Expresso was amazing very strong and full of flavour !!! Breakfast arrived chorizo and potato …simply Devine , perfect poached eggs , nice bacon , only a single sausage bit it was tasty , tomatoes and mushroom and two pieces of sourdough bread A real nice breakfast that was nicely presented and very tasty also sampled the home made croissants also very good , I will definitely be back

Their Habis Breakfast is absolutely faultless….cooked with love and care and it shows. Highly, highly recommended!!!!

Awful. Drinks were warm, glasses dirty. Tapas unavailable and menu had pen crossing most items out. We left before finishing our warm drinks.

Food was absolutely enjoyable. No complaints whatsoever with food. Fine ingredients cooked perfectly. However, the surroundings is in need of a good clean. Glass in the door and windows appear foggy with dust and likely grease. We sat in the window and counted 7 dead flies and two dead dragon flies on the large window box area. I then began to look closer at my surroundings and realised the place is desperate for a good wash. I hope this cafe survives because it certainly is great food. But another few months of neglect in cleaning and no one will want to eat in here. Please, save your cafe!

Top notch alternative breakfast and brunch. I had the Habis Chorizo and a large latte. Beautifully presented and wonderful flavours. It's certainly a great place to kick-start the weekend.

Service a little slow but it didn't matter as we got talking to locals and were away on a break so not in a rush.

Without question the food was delicious, ate here with a mate, we both had the Habis breakfast. Could not fault it. It just took a little while to prepare. Will definitely return.

Definitely one of the best breakfasts I've ever had

Visited with our Chinese friends for a specially prepared meal. One of us is onion intolerant and that was perfectly taken care of. The food was delicious, lots of it for the four of us, very varied. The service was great, the atmosphere even better. It was our first visit - our friends have been several times before - and Habis will be added to our small list of restaurants where you can eat very well, relax and enjoy life. Not surprised that they have such a high average review rating.

Always absolutely fantastic! My wife and I have been visiting Javier and the team since Day 1 and it's been a real pleasure to see Habis flourish! The tapas at Habis is the most flavoursome we've ever eaten and the breakfast menu always takes our vote for a Sunday morning! Always a pleasant environment in a rustic setting with inkeeping music. The service is efficient, professional and friendly, and there's always a warm welcome and an appreciative goodbye! We look forward to enjoying many more mornings and evenings! Sensational.

I had breakfast here with my wife a couple of weeks ago, some friends a few weeks before that and forgot to leave a review. If you want a personal family run restaurant feel and a great full breakfast with a Spanish twist, this is the place to come. Everyone Oz friendly and the environment is lovely. Less than £10 for a breakfast. Not many places left that can offer that. Will be back regularly. 😁😁😁

Went there based on the reviews here and wasn’t disappointed. Had the Habis chorizo breakfast and it was delicious. Made a nice change from the full English I would usually have. Service was nice and friendly and I thought it was good value. Habis will be added to me and my dad’s list of favourite breakfast spots.

I have had excellent service every time i have been in. The food is delicious and today i got poached egg on toast take away and it was just as delicious as if i was in the cafe Well done guys!

I went there by chance as just moved to the area and my mom that was visiting wanted to have a coffee somewhere. We walked in and it has a cosy interior, we were greeted by the one staff member in a friendly manner that said we can take a seat. We soon realised this wasn't your ordinary breakfast place as chorizo was a star of the menu and it had a Mediterranean twang. I am half Portuguese and half South African so looked it up to find it has Spanish influences. We decided looking at the menu to have breakfast as it sounded delicious and we had just had a cold 20 minute walk from my new place after weeks of moving house... We just wanted to sit down and feel human again and treat ourselves and also have some mom and daughter time as I don't see my mom often. We ordered 2 breakfasts and a takeaway burger. It didn't take long to get our food, a reasonable wait that you would expect for food to be prepared. The food was served and it was delicious, from the chorizo discreetly blended into the potatoes, the I think olive oil drizzled on the eggs, and the break that tasted home cooked. It was amazing! They also waited for us to finish before preparing the burger that was for my lovely fiancé that was looking after our 2 month baby at the time at home to allow us some girl time. Price wise I found it a reasonable price, if anything for the food we had, you'd probably be paying a lot more and the food if in London for example would probably be double if not more as a boutique fancy restaurant with that food and that quality. So I was very pleasantly surprised. It also didn't leave me feeling heavy and sickly which mist fry up breakfasts do due to the high oil content, this breakfast was quite light and pleasant without the heaviness a lot of traditional oily breakfasts have. Now one negative I do need to add, is I mentioned no gherkins in the burger twice, however upon getting home it had gherkins in it. I have not discounted a start however as my lively hubby to be, happily removed them and ate the giant burger and said that despite not liking the aftertaste of the burger was impressed by the burger patties that tasted like good quality ground beef. Only thing he did say was that the type of bread in the patties just squished to nothing easily and not the sort of bread he likes on a burger for this reason, however this is more down to personal preference as they are burger buns made for this purpose. I must note that if I'd had the burger with gherkins I'd not have been able to eat it at all as the flavour makes me ill, and I would have docked stars if the only thing I had ordered had been the burger for myself as I wouldn't have eaten it at all. But as my partner ate all of it once he removed the gherkins and was impressed by the beef patties I decided not to dock any stars and put it down to a one off as they were fairly busy and everything else was spot on. Oh and it is pet friendly we saw people inside with their pets, which we love. Sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes, I do have dyslexia and ADHD so my writing does sometimes get a bit chaotic...

Lovely owner from Spain. We went for my birthday, when we arrived he prepared some things off the menu adapting them to my intolerances, which was great. He also prepared some Spanish tapas for us to try.

Breakfast at Habis is fast becoming a weekend ritual (as well as weekday coffees!) Such a lovely family run place, with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Always lovely tranquil music playing. Both food and coffee delicious. They do oat milk lattes, and offer decaf coffee, which is a bonus. Definitely recommend visiting if you're in the Ely area.

Absolutely gorgeous place. Undoubtedly the best English breakfast ever (which here goes by the name Habis breakfast). The white toasted bread with sausages, mushrooms and eggs cooked to absolute perfection were amazing but what's different from Habis breakfast is the Spanish red chorizo... incredible!. Since it's a family business run by the family, the quality is assured, thus my big thanks to Javier for a terrific time.

We went in for coffee and ended up staying for breakfast as it smelt so inviting. The atmosphere was wonderful and just right in all aspects, the service was friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was delicious and cooked in homemade infused oil and had a beautiful seasoning too. The combination was just right and lifted the flavours to the next level. Overall a rare treat within the service industry these days and thoroughly deserve commending. Can't wait to go back!

Staying at the nearby Swan Hotel we were recommended this establishment for breakfast by the staff. I'm not a vegetarian but decided to try their vegetarian breakfast as it sounded delicious.... And delicious it was!! Everything tasted so fresh, all cooked to perfection (just wish I could do runny poached eggs like them at home!) My partner had scrambled eggs on ciabtta toast and he certainly left with an empty plate. The staff were helpful and friendly. I would definitely return. If the rest of the day/evening menu is half as good as breakfast then you won't be disappointed. Was also nice to support a local independent business.

Can’t believe it’s been 4 years since I last visited Habis in Littleport. I just had a beautiful Spanish breakfast of Chorizo, Eggs, and Potatoes. Javier and team did a wonderful birthday cook in my garden for me years ago and it goes down as the best birthday ever because of the food! The quality remains excellent and Javier is a fantastic and authentic Spanish chef; and a really nice guy too!

Lovely last minute dinner , very authentic Spanish tapas , every dish we had was flavoursome. Independent family run restaurant that is well worth a visit , we shall return often .

Went with the boy, second time for me first for him. All good, and they do a card where you get a drink foc if you buy 8 and dan said can we bring 8 people which was hilarious but also a wonderful insight into how brains work.

First time we visited and loved it. Great chorizo with mushroom sauce and potatoes were delicious with sauce. Next time we will definitely visit this place to dine.

Took my son for a birthday dinner. His first experience of Tapas. He absolutely loved it. Food was excellent, will go again.

We ate at this lovely restaurant on a Friday evening. Myself, my husband and our 10 month old. From the moment we arrived, the people there could not do enough for us. I have a few allergens and our waiter was able to advise us what was safe and what wasn't. When they were worried there could be cross contamination, they spoke to us and asked if they could tweak what we'd ordered to ensure everything was safe. The food was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed every bite! Such a lovely place!

Such a wee gem of a place. Server was so helpful and friendly. Complimentary mozzarella salad was so fresh and we asked how the dressing was made as it was so lovely. Great tapas. Recommend pork loin with blue cheese and mushroom and Patatas bravas. We both had a burger. Mine was felafel, his was chicken. Huge portion of the best chips I have had in years. We could not finish due to being so full! £56 including a bottle of wine and fuzzy water. Brilliant quality at a great price.

Absolutely the tastiest breakfast I've ever had! It's gourmet farm fresh, and delicious, I'm overwhelmed! I had the basic breakfast which included eggs, bacon, chorizo, mushrooms, sausage and toast. This is not your average cafe...this is exceptionally amazing!

Went out for breakfast Saturday morning with my partner and had a delightful time. I had the Habis Vegetarian and my partner had the Eggs Florentine. Both were extremely delish and big portions! A small independent restaurant with absolutely beautiful Tapas. Possibly the best I have ever had and I have eaten all over Spain and in dozens of restaurants in the UK. The staff are all very friendly and they are very reasonably priced. If you are ever in Littleport I would highly recommend popping into Habis. However, you may need to book a table as they have a limited amount of tables.

Called in today for the first time and was extremely impressed. We tried the tapas which was very tasty, generous portion and great value for money. Would definitely recommend to come in and try it out. We will be back and soon, hopefully to try out more of the menu.

So happy to have discovered Habis. Having Coeliac Disease eating out can be stressful. These guys totally got it and adapted their Tapas dishes to be gluten free. So yummy, generous portions and the chef and waiting staff were absolute sweethearts. Totally recommend. 😁😁😁

So good, recommend 100% 😁 My Mum and I have Coeliac Disease so eating out can be stressful especially if the chefs/waiters do not take it seriously and see being gluten free as just a faddy thing! Well at Habis they totally got it. We had an amazing selection of tapas, ordered every dish which the chef was able to adapt to make gluten free. Went here for a late breakfast a few days ago. I'd never been before but I'll definitely be going again. So clean and friendly and the food was yummy. We're lucky to have this in our village.

We visited last night, we were a party of eight and had everything off the Tapas menu between us. It was fabulous. The surroundings may be a bit basic but the guy who served us was really friendly and the food amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Been in the village a year and been in several times. First few visits were great, food was good and service was great. We went to the live music night which was fun. It was the only decent place in the village. Recently seems to have gone downhill and food has gotten worse. Have been told apparently owner has fired the chef? Real shame and hope it picks back up as was really nice.

totally dissapointed. I am vegeterian and I ordered vegie burger but in my order I got tomatoes sous with pieces of chorizo. Also take attention at receipt as diffrend price is in menu and at the bill.

Not recommended, offer of this beers is 4 for £10, on the bill they're charge like you can see normal. Owner say this is only for take away but is any sign on that ???? Nope... Plus appetizer bottle in menu cost £2.50 and on the bill ?? Hahaha really not nice service. Two different stories between owner and service guys....

Myself & my partner visited habis today for lunch. We are fairly new to littleport & were looking for a nice independent restaurant. Food was superb! The tapas was authentic & full of flavour & the homemade ice cream was delicious. Owner & front of house staff were extremely friendly. I'm a chef myself so I tend to be a bit fussy but this was a very pleasant surprise. Great to find quirky independent restaurants like this doing things differently. We will definitely be back!

Great food and great atmosphere, the service can sometimes be a little lacking (slow or incorrect orders) but this is largely due to inexperienced staff. Would highly recommend the Habis burger, the chips are exceptional. This is a great restaurant and worth visiting. Two things to note, it's not great for vegetarians (most things are meat based) and always call ahead as opening hours vary greatly during the pandemic.

Wonderful addition to a growing village - Habis has been my go to since opening. Wonderful food, friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced, large sized portions. Javier and team are always happy to adjust my orders to accommodate my food intolerances and dislikes. Since COVID lockdown, Habis has done an amazing job adapting and their burgers and chips have become an almost weekly treat!

Had takeaway a few times from here, customer service is great, food made fresh. Burger and chips was amazing. Paella was a little overpriced and not great, had to add our own seasoning and some of rice was burnt. Would let it stop us going again, as all other times we have been it has been amazing food.

As always our takeaway meal was delicious. I ordered two days in advance to ensure that Habis were able to take our order and the food was ready at the time that we had booked. The paella, Kalahari burger and assorted tapas were really well packaged and were piping hot when we got home.Many thanks, Javier. We will definitely be back.
