The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in East Midlands

Heard good reports about the breakfast, absolutely awful, under cooked cheap sausage, bacon never seen a pan, no butter on toast, asked waitress, took another 10mins to bring me fresh buttered toast, brought white, but I ordered brown. No hand towel or wipes in bathroom, asked waitress she said they font have them. Rude owner who replied to a review I made on Google. Yes u do get shiity reviews when ya food and service are crap!!!

Friendly staff, nice cocktails and good food. We had a couple of platters, which were nice, and a couple of cocktails. Staff were attentive and polite.

Yes, this was an excellent cafe at the entrance to Belvoir Castle. It served a wide variety of savoury snacks, sandwiches, bauguettes etc. and a great choice of cakes!! As previously mentioned the coffee was excellent! Unfortunately they had to close early in 2022 due to no renewal of their lease. A sad loss!

Came up from the south, most welcoming and friendly pub, would recommend highly to anyone, felt so safe and secure and the owner made sure that we were looked after and left safely. I felt like we were part of the family.

we are regular visitors and always welcomed in a very friendly manner and always feel welcome, however busy the cafe is. there is always a good selection of food and drink available and is always served at a high quality from the friendly staff. Would recommend calling in if you are in the area

Been here twice recently and the food and service is fab. Working our way through the galette menu - just like being in France.

Super cosy jewel in the centre of Higham Ferrers. Very busy and great staff made me welcome. Ordered an omelette and was I impressed. Best I've eaten in many years. Taste buds were going crazy

Great coffee and light bites, incredibly convenient for M1, just 1 mile from J27, so much nicer and cheaper than service stations. Friendly staff, great coffee and cakes.

Exceptionally tasty food, would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back to try other menu choices. Excellent variety of meals, snacks and drinks. Fantastic friendly staff, made to feel very welcome. Thank you very much 😊

This is an absolute gem of a pub. They have a wide and constantly changing range of beers. All beautifully kept and served by a friendly and extremely knowledgeable landlord and staff. Certain worth a detour to visit. There is a wide range of whiskeys behind the bar as well. And they host music events in a function room.

Been here several times for food which was amazing however when visited last week was very disappointed to hear the chef had left.however we gave it the benefit and still ate here.i can say i honestly wished we had stayed at home food was horrendous.bar staff just passable and as for the gentleman who owns it.he is crude and vulgar.what comes out is mouth no family wants to hear.i really hope they get another good cook soon as it hasnt got alot more going for it.

Based just outside the beach gate at Butlins. Perfect spot for breakfast whilst looking at the sea. Also had a lovely burger lunch too. Much better than anything similar being offered inside Butlins

Called in yesterday for coffee and cake. I remembered the lady from being there last time. She was busy prepping for a birthday party but squeezed us in. The level of service she provides is off the scale, the best for miles around! She is SO lovely and friendly, and made everyone feel so welcome. I don't come to Alfreton that often, but would always have at least a coffee. She reminded me not to bother with anywhere else, when the Pottery is just the best.
