The New Anchor Inn in Boston

Been here several times for food which was amazing however when visited last week was very disappointed to hear the chef had left.however we gave it the benefit and still ate here.i can say i honestly wished we had stayed at home food was horrendous.bar staff just passable and as for the gentleman who owns it.he is crude and vulgar.what comes out is mouth no family wants to hear.i really hope they get another good cook soon as it hasnt got alot more going for it.

The backyard garden is very nice with a huge owl in a cage. The food was passable and the drinks good. The staff very nice and friendly.

This pub is a "must visit" if you are nearby or passing through. The food is of a very high standard, the staff, and especially the Landlord, are extremely friendly and very helpful, nothing is too much trouble and they always put the customer first. The child and dog friendly beer garden is amazing.

Faultess. Been here before for a quick visit and really liked the atmosphere. Went back today for a meal, which we really enjoyed ( Friday fish & chips). Best ive had in a good while, perfectly cooked. Will be going regularly now. Highly recommend .

A lovely village pub just off A52, freshly cooked food and plenty of it, very friendly helpful staff, a typical country pub, definitely a great find, will certainly make a return visit

We visited the new anchor Inn on the 11th of June and can easily say it is one of the best meals we have had in a long time! Service was great, very welcoming. Food was outstanding and all at a very reasonable price. Will definitely be coming again and recommending to others! Thank you.

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch. Delicious home cooked dinner. Plenty of meat and a good selection of vegetables. Hubby went for the fish pie which he said was most enjoyable. Even ventured to finish off with a pudding. I had raspberry pavlova which was perfect. Hubby had treacle sponge. Nice light modern decor. Very friendly staff. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Had a lovely meal this Sunday. The best Sunday Roast I’ve had out for a very long time, normally a disappointment elsewhere but the Roast Dinner at The New Anchor Inn was top class, tasty, hot and lots of lovely food! Friendly staff as well, thank you very much.

We found this place on TripAdvisor after looking for somewhere to have dinner whilst staying nearby. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was served in a reasonable time. The food was lovely and the portions were large. All very reasonable priced. Unfortunately, the location on TripAdvisor does seem to be a bit out of place, we found the pub in Friskney, so I hope this doesn't take away from those who are able to find this gem of a pub!

This pub was recommended to us by friends so we tried it for lunch. We should have paid more attention to the menu as we selected the double anchor burgers and this is what turned up! Two of them! We were eventually defeated and the chef happily gave us the rest in a takeaway parcel. Great pub - highly recommended.
