Food (breakfast) tasted funny and we both commented on it. My friend thought she tasted vinegar and I thought it had a metallic taste. 20 mins after eating we both had tummy pains and diarrhoea (we are not a couple so live separately). Not sure if this has changed ownership but things have declined from when we last visited a few months ago. We will not be returning.

Aggressively decorated in Gingham coverings and set in a delightful ,quiet place(appears to be a small farmyard courtyard next to an old farmhouse) yet alongside the main road to Lincoln and actually about 15 mins drive to the A1 .It is an unexpected find, has a simple but effective menu interspaced with a multitude of cake offerings selection of teas and noteworthy coffee ( .The pricing seems on par with current trends .My breakfast was the Full main (with vegetarian option) on this occasion i had asked for well cooked bacon and easy eggs which came alongside generous toast and butter black pudding and sausages .Staff were polite ambience and atmosphere could lend itself to a small business lunch of family gathering. No pretence here .The tea was served with a wooden sugar crystal cone dispensing device which worked extremely well. You dunked it to diffuse more or less to suit you sweetness. Id recommend it as i has a certain charm.

We were taken to this tearoom by a dear friend of ours and were treated to a delicious lunch. The portions were just right for a light lunch and the salad dressing was perfect. The tearooms had a lovely atmosphere and the acoustics in the building were ideal for hearing impaired people. Thank you for a lovely lunch. Recommend.

I have visited this cafe a few times and it has always been fantastic. The food is always excellent and their selection of cakes are so yummy. A big plus for me is all the cakes are covered. They are very dog friendly. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming.

My sister told me about this place. I had seen the signs for it but never visited. My sister suggested lunch here and booked for us. Lovely walk through some gardens once the car was parked. Little building that didn’t give away what lay behind its doors. A lovely shabby chic cafe. Cosy and welcoming, as are the staff. Very accommodating and efficient service. Food was tasty and we enjoyed our lunch. Will definitely visit again

This lovely tea room is part of Hall Farm, and we nearly missed it altogether - even though we'd been told that it was close to the junction of the A57 and A1133. Fortunately, we backtracked and found it - and what a find it was. The tea rooms are cosy and welcoming. Everything is home made and absolutely delicious, with tea served on lovely, assorted china which makes it feel less formal and more like you've dropped in to have tea with friends. We were there for afternoon tea, but see that they do lunches too. We're told that booking is advised, which is understandable if they're of a similar quality to the cakes. Alas, we didn't have time to book a lunch on this short trip to Lincoln, but it's on our list for next time....

Called for a coffee and cake on my way home from a family visit. I’ve driven past a number of times but this was my first visit and wow. It’s a lovely place, very spacious and the staff were so friendly. There is seating indoors and out. Listening to other customers, who were obviously regulars, saying how nice their food had been. One lady had enjoyed a toasted sandwich. I had home made cake which was beautiful, I even took a piece home for the old man and he was very impressed. There were lots to chose from when I arrived but they disappeared very quickly. Impressed with how they were cleaning tables after each customer and the toilets were immaculate. COVID restrictions were being observed. Definitely one to go back to, thank you to Karen and the staff for a pleasant visit.

My friend and I met here today, initially for a cup of tea and a catch up but ended up eating a meal and then cake too! I live very locally and did not even know it existed. We were taken through to the Barn which is brilliant. It is cozy and warm - we were not rushed at any point and would highly recommend although it may be wise to pre book. I am a medically diagnosed coeliac and had not telephoned before hand so was not expecting them to cater for me but I had a delicious well filled omelette and gluten free fruit cake too. All covid precautions were in place and the toilet was immaculate too. We will return. Thank you.

We popped in this afternoon for something to eat and had the most amazing lunch of halloumi avocado and bacon bagel and a sausage, scrambled egg special, followed by two incredible cakes. The service was fantastic and the interior of the cafe is beautiful. They have plans to extend into the cow shed that is just through the little courtyard. To top it off the staff are lovely and the cafe is also dog friendly. I highly reccomend a visit.

The tearoom was amazing. The staff where really friendly and very welcoming. We turned up to the tearoom whilst it was pouring with rain 19 minutes before they where due to shut (not realising there opening times and how late in the day it was, which was our mistake) and they kindly allowed us to order and where extremely kind and did not rush us even though we left after they had officially closed. Their cakes where amazing. I can their carrot cake which was the best I’ve ever had and my husband and son had their millionaires shortbread (which I tried a little of my sons as well) which where also amazing. The tearoom itself is lovely decorated and very clean and welcoming. I would recommend to anyone in the area to visit and enjoy their amazing food. Their menu was quite extensive and included lovely sounding lunches as well as afternoon tea. I can not praise this tearoom highly enough and wish I lived closer to become a regular (although I think my waist line wouldn’t like me very much 🤣)

We were desperate to find somewhere for a cup of tea in an area we didn't know. We came across the tearooms and decided to give it a go. What a find! A real gem and we only wished that we lived nearer as the specials menu looked so interesting. The staff could not have been more friendly, the tea was a very good price and the toilet was spotless. If we are in the area again, we will time things so that we can have something to eat.
