The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Daventry East Midlands

I visited Culaccino on Saturday the same day as Daventry xmas market and was extremely disappointed with the service. We were greeted by 2 young girls,neither of which said hello or anything. We sat down and weren't sure if anyone would bring a menu over to us or not. I tried to get the attention of the girls but they blatantly ignored us. After finding our own menu and ordering we waited 35 mins for 2 waffles only to get them chucked on the table and when I asked for cutlery one of the young girls gave the biggest sigh as If I had just massively inconvenienced her. Would also like to point out there were only 3 other tables at the time. There was another table but they were so fed up with waiting they left. Most of the tables had dirty plates or cups on and out of the 3 girls not one of them decided to clear them. We waited about 20 mins for someone to clear out table of dirty cups. In fact a gentleman on the table next to us went up to order (his table had leftover plates on not yet cleared) He asked at the till how big a large latte was to which the girl responded with 'if you look at the dirty cup on your table its the same size as that'. There was also a lack of hygiene. I was watching the girls make toasties and after touching the Ham and meat to go into the toasties they both then proceeded to touch and make the waffles which were then served to us... without washing their hands after handling meat! As someone who works in hospitality this was by far the most shocking thing I saw. It was evident the manager wasn't there, but I suggest that you make sure your staff are fully trained in customer service and especially food hygiene before leaving them to run the shop.One of the girls had long blonde hair which was tied up but most of it was dangling down the front. As we were finishing up another girl arrived to work and tied her hair up being the counter right over the food that another girl was preparing. One table complained that a small side plate was dirty, the girl with blonde hair took it into the pot wash area... I could see form where I was sat that she didn't put it in the dishwasher but instead wiped it with blue roll and gave it back to the man! I am sure when the manager/owner Is here things are different but I certainly will not be returning and have told others to avoid unless they want unhygienic and rude service. I never even write trip advisor reviews but in this case I felt it was essential.

We went in for lunch as a 4 and were seated quickly - Lovely food and really quick service! Great value for money. Shall be returning

Perfect full English breakfast, great fresh food with friendly staff. Another reviewer said " Best breakfast in Daventry" and I have to agree!

Lovely veggie and vegan food, friendly service in a beautiful tranquil setting. Great for short walks around lake and woodland too.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch with Friends. The food was delicious and the portions very generous. We were served by Alistair who was an excellent host. We will definitely be returning soon.

Exspensive food is cheaper in tescos ,but staff are friendly costas is cheaper in other Costa shops why so exspensive here

My partner and I went for a meal tonight, first time visiting , and it was probably one of the best meals we’ve had. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was exceptional! I didn’t quite catch the names of people that were waiting on us but the young lad with curly blonde hair was super friendly and lovely. We thought it was excellent how the specials board was bought over and spoke through with us too! Overall we had a brilliant time and would definitely visit again!

Went here for some food after a mornings work, they didn’t disappoint. Amazing food and amazing service. 100% recommend

It's always a pleasant experience when we go to Kunis anytime of the year. The value for money here always amazes me! The kids love it, I love it. What's not to love?! Ice-cream, coffee, comics, trading cards, funko pops... Daventry's little gem.
