The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in England

The royal breakfast was much better than the Shakshouka. The coffee was normal, nothing too worthy to note. The person at the cashdesk taking orders was cheerful and fun to have a conversation with. Unfortunately, someone scratched my parked car with a key or a sharp object outside this place, and we could do nothing about it. So, one tip to customers would be to park somewhere you can see the car from the shop or off road. I'd not park outside the convenience store again.

Great service, well made cocktails and the food was excellent. We had booked for 20 people and Losh were very flexible. The table was well managed. Thanks for a great night. The chicken shish was delicious. They also provide the best birthday celebrations.

Ordered Americano and orange cake. Both tasted good and nice vibe. However there were 2 maggots crawling on the chair next to me. It just made me very uncomfortable and couldn’t wait to finish my drink and leave. Change seating, and notice that on the chair there were leftover food crumbs too. Drink and food is good, but a major health and safety concern when there’s a few maggots on different chairs. Later realised that the maggots were falling down from the ceiling, packed my food and just left.

We received a warm and friendly welcome on arrival at Exo Poli and felt very much at home in the restaurant with its lovely ambience and nice Greek music. There was a choice of Greek and non-Greek wines and the menu can be found on a blackboard. We liked the fact that, just like in Greece, the menu is not endless but gives you a choice of 4 or 5 main course meals from beef to pork and from chicken to a vegetarian option. Everything we ordered was delicious, but the Baklava dessert was outstanding!! Beautiful Baklava – not too sweet and with a lovely honey taste – as well as Greek yoghurt to die for – creamy, soft and moreish. Add to this the fact that the price structure is very affordable, and we certainly were very happy customers. We felt like we could be sitting in a little family restaurant in Crete and we are sure that we will be back there very soon.

Food court has a good variety to choose from to satisfy all tastes buds. Food arrived in no time which means items must have been precooked although still good and tasty. Great place for a casual outing

We were visiting friends and we went here for breakfast. What a lovely place, the attention to detail was fantastic, the service was 1st class and the food, plentiful, delicious and beautiful quality. Highly recommend and we will be returning to try the evening tapas on our next visit for sure. Thank you.

Had an absolutely wonderful Sunday lunch today! Delicious and fantastic portion sizes, just the right amount. For mains we had roast beef, lamb and cauliflower. And desserts we had rhubarb posset, affogato, sticky pudding and sticky sundae. The service and staff were excellent and attentive. It's very cosy and personal too. Highly recommend going to Eight!

Beautiful Turkish restaurant in the centre of Cheltenham. We went for a late lunch when it wasn't very busy and received excellent service from the moment we arrived. We opted for the Turkish Breakfast Sharing Platter which came with an amazing variety of foods, tastes and textures at a very reasonable price. For a spontaneous first visit it was a great experience and we certainly recommend The Istanbul Kitchen to anyone looking for for a special dining experience in Cheltenham.

Fantastic restaurant!! Comprehensive menu with lots of vegetarian options. We had stuffed vine leaves to start (best we've ever tasted) and halloumi souvlaki .We finished with baklava. The food is delicious, the service is efficient and friendly and it is well priced.
