Great to see this lovely small cafe reopened with authentic Spanish cuisine, even if its now more limited to morning and lunchtime. All the food is freshly prepared and home made. The bread and Spanish pasties as well as the sweet treats were all delicious. I would highly recommend popping in!

Ordered a take away to pick up as reviews looked really good and is local to where we live. All the food was very salty so much so we couldn't eat it.Cod and potato fish balls tasted just like potatoes croquettes, very dry. .Home made chips were thin and soggy, ribs, chicken ,paella just tasted of salt . Garlic bread looked as though it had been deep fried and rock hard ,all went into the bin . Phoned and the guy was very apologetic and offered to put money back on my card, which he did.

Lovely little restaurant and friendly staff. But the food was very dissapointing. In fact probably one of the worst Tapas we have ever had unfortunately. Really disappointed as it's on our doorstep and was really looking forward to the night as it was a Birthday celebration. Food tasted like it was frozen and very bland! Cold garlic bread! Chicken skewers had a funny taste and tiny little prawns! I could go on and on.. .Won't be going again.

Visited Sabrosa on Wednesday night with another couple. Not the first time we’ve been as it’s only a few minutes walk away from our home. Lovely food and a nice atmosphere. It’s also a plus that you can bring your own booze so not being charged inflated prices. Eduardo is also a very nice guy and is on hand to advise what to have if never visited a tapas restaurant before. I don’t normally leave reviews but if you don’t like a place people are quick to leave a negative review so it’s important to balance with a positive experience. Will definitely be back

Sadly my friend and I were very disappointed with the tapas served to us. The prawns were tasteless and served in the smallest tapas dish I've ever seen, probably due to it being such a an under-sized portion. Considering the garlic bread cost nearly £4, we were served about 5 slices of un-toasted french stick drizzled in garlic oil. A whole french stick only costs about 50p in the supermarket so how about 5 small slices could have cost us nearly £4 at Sabrosa was outrageous! The battered aubergine slices were well over battered, thick, soggy and greasy which drowned out any taste of aubergine. Our wine was brought to our table whilst the waitress was on the telephone! There was only 1 toilet but it was clean. There was wallpaper peeling off the walls where we were sat. Overall very disappointing for us as locals to the restaurant. We hoped that we'd come across a hidden gem within walking distance from our home.

We had heard through word of mouth that this place was a hidden gem and we weren’t disappointed. Tucked away between a few shops and being the only resturant around we had never noticed it before. We had overheard the young waitress that they were fully booked for the night which is always a good sign. There are only 7-9 tables in the resturant itself and it isn’t very big inside, the decor being quite rustic. We were welcomed by a friendly young waitress who was through out the night single handedly waiting on all of the tables on her own, she didn’t stop! Even though this was the case when the resturant was full we didn’t have a wait for any of our food or drinks and were very impressed by the professional service. We were advised to order around 3 plates each. I ordered the Patatas bravas, goats cheese, Serrano ham croquettes, lamb skewers and the pork medallions to share between myself and my partner. We couldn’t actually say which was our favourite dish because we loved all of them. My father in law said the patatas braves was the best he had ever had.

Ordered meatballs, squid, padron peppers, pork with whisky and aubergine with honey. Pork dish could have been warmer but was tasty nevertheless. Alhambra beer was a bonus, rose for the lady. This is one of my favourite restaurants to eat at for a straightforward, tasty meal. I have spent time living in Spain and one of the great joys of the country is the food. We had a really lovely meal at Sabrosa, great atmosphere and fab food! Even better was the fact it was half price on the night we went there. Lovely staff , young lady who served us Libby was very attentive and helped us to chose how many tapas to have! Over all a lovely evening will definitely go back and recommend to our friends.

This place is not to be missed. Authentic Spanish tapas in a hidden location. The environment is basic, but everything else is spot on. Warm and welcoming owner enthusiastically talked us through the menu. The quality and value were both incredible.

I really enjoy eating at Sabrosa. Having visited four times, three of which were sitting in, I have yet to be disappointed by any aspect of either food or service. Truly outstanding and well worth a visit. Tapas menu is varied and food is fresh. Highly recommended.

Food was cool and the service excellent. We both enjoyed the Tapas options and the waiter rocked. Bring your own really lowers the price so very economical.

Our neighbours recommended a visit to this small local Spanish restaurant near to Woolton village at the bottom of Manor Road. It is a family run business which specialises in tapas made from freshly sourced meat, fish, and vegetables. An added bonus is that you can take your own alcoholic drinks so this reduces the overall cost of your night out. Excellent service and value for money.

Read the reviews so popped along to try. Empty on arrival but greeted by a friendly waiter called Alex. He recommended the amount of tapas we should have which was 6 between us. Food was fab with decent size portions. They don t serve alcohol but you can take your own. Really nice and will be back. Started to fill up with people who had booked so it must get busy. Good value for money too.

Little gem. This place tastes as though it’s genuinely authentic, and straight out of Murcia or Valencia. . Excellent food and great staff. Take your own alcohol.

One of my favourite restaurants in Liverpool.I have been to the one in Heswell a few times as well and both offer the best service The food is amazing, and so are the cocktails. I visited last year when I was pregnant and the bar man made me any mocktail I wanted. It wasn’t any bother to him at all.The croquettes are my favourite Please, if you ever visit Liverpool then come hereYou won’t be disappointed
