Everything is very good with some exceptions. The staff is friendly and helpful, the food and drinks are served relatively quickly, even though the place was full. Seating for large groups is hard to find, unless you have a reservation. The food is quite overpriced, and on top of that, they charge a 10% service.

Great restaurant with different dishes fresh naan bread and the fish add with veg it s a beautiful meal.

Highly disappointed, bad customer service. Portions are very small, not worth of paying that high priced items. Service charge on top of bill which is a joke. Not recommended at all.

Perfect place...very nice food!

Being our anniversary my wife and I planned a much needed night out starting with a meal. We'd heard a lot of good things about Elif and a family member told us we needed to try it out, and we were not disappointed. Firstly the service was exceptional, ALL the waiters were extremely welcoming and helpful. Then the food, 😋😋😋 it was simple with big flavours (the garlic mushrooms are out of this world) and finally the price..... We don't go out to eat cheap, but the price was exceptional value - we will be going back, I'd advise booking in advance, we did and the line outside the door probably would have sent us elsewhere. Which is only a testament to this great little gem of a restaurant. Thanks for a lovely start to a lovely night Elif

Amazing food as always. Best Bread and Best Kebabs in the city. New changed tables are slippery to hold ceramic plates. Loved the previous wooden ones...felt more authentic. Thank you.

I’m really disappointed to say that the quality of the food here has changed, unfortunately. The meat was not fresh—it was hard, overly salty, and lacked the flavour I used to enjoy. This used to be one of my favourite places to eat in Liverpool, but sadly, I won’t be coming back.

Amazing little place that we happened on by chance. Arrived 6pm a d the place was almost full. Great service, food was incredible and the price was also good. Would definitely recommend and will return when next in Liverpool.

The Best Turkish Food Restaurant in Liverpool without a doubt. Fantastic staff (Erdal greeted us and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. What a great guy and great manners) Remarkable and delicious food Great location Cosy dining experience If you ever in Liverpool, it’s a “must try” option. Highly recommended. Prices: similar to other restaurants but food is a lot nicer than anywhere else I’ve tried. Parking: there is a multi story car park within a short walking distance.

Amazing food, excellent service

The food was very nice, however I was disappointed with the portion size of the chargrilled king prawns and the fact that there wasn’t complimentary bread given, which is pretty standard at most Turkish restaurants.

Food was very nice had chicken and lamb kebabs. Very busy place. Not somewhere for quiet conversation but we enjoyed food and atmosphere. Only negative one ladies toilet, not great for amount of people restaurant caters for.

I went to this restaurant on my own and I’m telling you the atmosphere and food was really good the only thing that was inconvenient was that I had to wait about 10 minutes to enter because the restaurant was filled with people. There was literally no space to sit and you only get to eat when another person leaves. Asides that the food was so nice the proteins were so soft and literally will fall off the bone and the atmosphere was a bit noisy but it was a good experience all round.

Food and service were fantastic. Can’t wait to go back again.

The kebab was excellent (chicken and lamb) it just melted in my mouth. My wife, who is gluten-free, had a great choice off their GF menu. Again, the meal was fantastic, and the staff explained any alternative in detail. We will definitely be going there again.

Second visit and went for a veggie option (no60) after the Meat Feast I had the first time visiting & wasn't disappointed. So much flavour, staff were friendly, vibrant and made you feel at home straight on entering until you stepped out the door. Would highly recommend.

One of the best bbq dishes I’ve tried. Visited here twice already and check photos below. Definitely worth trying especially if you want to try Turkish foods. The lamb chops and seabass💯 flavourful 🤤 They also have a fantastic deals during lunchtime where you can choose 2 courses for just only 15£ which is more than worth it. If you’re planning to go during busy hours, it’s a good idea to book ahead as it can fill up quickly. The staff are super friendly and helpful and I really enjoy the Turkish delight Highly recommended!

Wonderful restaurant with lovely staff and quick service. Superb price for the quality you get. We had two lunch specials with a starter and a main each and free Turkish delights. For starters we had the calamari and the Turkish sausage. For mains we had the chicken and a special dish I'd never had with great tomato sauce, all with rice and salad included. Thoroughly recommend. Dogs not allowed but you can sit outside and have table service as you would in the restaurant. Seemed pretty busy constantly so perhaps book in advance. No takeaway.

Everyone knows you can’t go wrong with Elif, authentic, fresh and absolutely delicious!! Good service, good vibes, and amazing food.

The initial server male was in a rush and not bothered about us. But the woman who delivered the food was lovely the food was nice and place was clean bit crammed but was good I got a window seat.

The staff is amazing and great, but the food was mediocre to a huge extent. The meat was bland and the chicken was crisp inside and burnt outside. The salad was chunks of carrot chunks of onions and chunks of tomato. Its not a salad thats veggies cut in a bowl. The price compared to the quality was very expensive. For 2 people might be hey okay still though too expensive for the quality. Verdict is 3 stars just because of the staff otherwise id give 2 stars.

Amazing authentic food. Very different from other Turkish / Kebab places and I recommend you try some new things. Lamb livers, Tarator and Mixed platter (Although the portion felt smaller compared to a year ago) were all brilliant. Must go.

I was invited on the evening of Sat. 29 March 2025 by a colleague to meet him in the Bold Street restaurant. The food itself was very nice, and I didn't mind having to wait a while outside, before being admitted. But what I did mind - in fact, what I found rather unpleasant and embarrassing - was being asked (in effect) to hurry up and go, when we had still got nowhere near to finishing the (admittedly large) meal. The way this was conveyed was rather indirect: it began "I'm sorry, would you mind moving tables, we have a party of ten coming?" but when I responded "Of course, that's fine", it became clear that the waitress really just wanted us gone, because I was too slow eating! The waitress, possibly perceiving my (unenunciated) surprise at this added: "Your friend usually eats so quickly" which, being approx. one third my age, may well be true. My friend was mortified. I told him not to worry. But looking at the reviews now (the next morning), I see that our experience of poor service, though not the norm, is by no means isolated. Given how we were treated, might I suggest that a stop-clock be positioned on each table, so that patrons might know when their time is up?!

I have nothing but positive things to say! The food was amazing, and they even asked if we were fasting so they could offer us dates to break our fast. The service was flawless—everyone was incredibly kind and attentive. I’d definitely go back and highly recommend it to everyone!

Great value for lunch menu served till late and very tasty food 👌

The food is a 10, the lamb is phenomenal. The portions are very generous especially the portions to share for 2 or 3, 4 people. The prices are a bit above average but the quality and quantity are on par. The waiters are very well trained and help you make the right choice.

My friends say it's a must try restaurant, I shall be visiting soon. According to them food,atmosphere and service was great.

Great food and a good deal on weekdays lunch. Big meals available and big portion. Just make sure you ask for the lunch menu if you go on the weekdays. Great amount of seating inside and food serves fast.

I made a reservation and visited, and they told me to wait a bit, but they gave me a good seat by the window. Usually, they tell me to sit anywhere for two people, but this place has seats for four, but since I made a reservation, they said they would give it to me. Thanks to that, I was able to eat comfortably and spaciously at the only window seat, rather than the slightly crowded interior. The portions were really generous and large, so I ate until I was full. The fried rice spread out on the floor felt a bit oily, but it had a strange taste that made me want to keep eating. The grilled bell peppers were amazing, and the meat had a meaty flavor that wasn't overpowering, so I ate well.

Listen, I don’t know what kind of wizardry is happening in Elif’s kitchen, but it needs to be studied. The food here is outrageously good—so good, in fact, that I found myself getting stressed about how I was supposed to go back to eating regular food after this. How am I supposed to just carry on with my life, knowing that not every meal will taste like this? It’s unreasonable. I’ve eaten here a few times now, and they never miss. Every dish is a masterpiece. Every time I leave, I feel like I need a moment of silence to process what just happened. If you haven’t been yet, what are you doing? Go. Now. Your taste buds will thank you. Your future meals will feel inadequate. And honestly, that’s a sacrifice worth making.

We asked 3 separate people where we should go for dinner on our last night. They all said Elif. They were correct. The food, service, and atmosphere were great. We had the olives, grape leaves, and the dinner for 2. Highly recommend. If I get the chance to come back to Liverpool, I will be eating here again.

Absolutely exemplary. Lunch deal is great value with a wide choice. If the bread is good in a restaurant it's a good sign there is hope for the starter and main and oh boy was the bread good! The Tavuk Sis I had was a large portion and cooked to perfection. Service was fast, starter, main and drinks came promptly and in the correct order. Highly recommend - other restaurants in the area take note

Great value lunch time deal for two courses. Food was really tasty. Everything felt fresh. Portions were generous. Staff were very friendly and service was very quick, but we didn’t feel rushed to leave, even though it was really busy. Will definitely come back.

We were told about this place two years ago, but every time we passed there was a queue out of the door. So we didn't bother . But yesterday we managed to get a table ..the food was excellent ,the staff were very friendly and attentive, everything was even better than what we were expecting even though we were told that it is very good we didn't expect it to be that good ...I tried to practise my Turkish language with a guy who I think was the owner (dead funny ,coz I hadn't practised for ages) would I reccomend it to friends ,YES I WOULD...the problem is that I'm scared now of never being able to get a table coz I have highly reccomended it .😆😆..,its well worth a visit coz its excellent food and the prices are brilliant ,ten out of ten Elif 👍👍👍

What a fabulous experience. The food and prompt service was delivered with care and attention. We ordered the meat platter for two and it was both spectacular and delicious. We were just sad we couldn't finish it all. The Turkish coffee and complementary Turkish delight finished off the feast perfectly. Thank you Elif. Can't recommend you enough. Food was delicious, freshly prepared and well presented. The service was a little slow, it took around 45 mins for our starter to arrive. I would definitely return and recommend.

Stunning quality of food and lovely staff. Our favourite restaurant on Bold Street, we never book but they are always so friendly and warm. My calamari was delicious followed by scrummy lamb chops and ribs. Prices are just right.

The drinks taste like they have tap water in them—I can definitely tell!

When I entered I tried to sit at any table but I was taken back and waited a few minutes for a table. I ordered mixed kebab. I wanted to get meat instead of chicken but my request was turned down by the chef.

Great little find this place. Highly recommend. We went for lunch, and there's a special deal that was a bargain at £15 for 2 courses. It was a no-brainer, really. It's not a huge venue but it's very busy in here which speaks volumes. You don't have to wait too long for food and it's delicious. There's complimentary freshly made bread, dips and salad. I promise you'll leave stuffed and very happy. The staff are fab. Very friendly and attentive. Will be back.

My friend and I ate here for the 1st time on my birthday and it was the perfect choice, it was busy as it was a Saturday and the queue for a table was out of the door, so that says everything, But worth the wait, the food was beautiful, the service was faultless, and the prices are very reasonable, Would I eat here again ....ABSOLUTELY

Great Atmosphere and service, good value from the dishes and we left with a full stomach feeling good after a nice meal, that’s all you can ask for. Will be coming back again and would recommend to anyone who likes Turkish food.

Great meal here- had the lunch deal. Soup and lamb shank £14.99. Both superb. Good service all round- a special mention to the young waitress who was knowledgeable and polite and put up with me asking about her experience at the local university that my son might go to! The lamb shank was really great, melt in the mouth. The restaurant doesn't look great from the outside- not as much 'kerb appeal' as some of the other eateries on Bold street, once inside its smart and clean and atmospheric. 100% will return, can't fault it at all.

By God Almighty, they are thieves.. The Arab Brotherhood, beware of them, they take advantage of you, and in manipulating prices and adding fees or service fees, they deceive you.. Beware!!!!

Very welcoming staff. Very clean place. Quick service. Good quality food. Elif KNOW how to make tasty Turkish food. I had the four hot starters as a main late afternoon meal. This was the lentil soup, falafel, grilled obergine with roasted onions chickpeas, and lamb mince pastry called borek. It was very very tasty and large portions. But it is a heavy meal so I didn't have much else to eat for the rest of the day. This is one place to visit in Liverpool if you are a foodie.
