Elif in Liverpool

I recently visited this restaurant with my friends, intending to place an order for just one person since we’re vegetarian. Despite that, the service was incredibly disappointing. They outright ignored my order, simply because it was only for a £30 bill. It’s frustrating to be treated like that as a customer. In the end, we decided to leave without ordering anything. The service was terrible, and the restaurant definitely isn’t worth the hype. I wouldn't recommend it.

We stopped there by chance and, without a doubt, it was the best place we ate in Liverpool. In fact, after our flight was canceled two days in a row, we went back and ate there again. The quality of the food is excellent, everything was delicious and you can tell that the ingredients are fresh and well selected. The staff was super fast and very friendly, which made the experience even better. However, something to keep in mind: the portions are huge! So make sure you order carefully, because the quantities are quite generous. Without a doubt, we will return.

Absolutely fantastic meal. Called in for lunch, greeted by a gentleman wearing a Santa hat, he was extremely helpful and showed us straight to our table. Lovely food, great quality and plenty of it. Thank you very much, we will definitely be going back.

Food is great, really good two course for £15 lunch deal.

My husband and I went here after Christmas shopping and were seated straight away despite it being super busy. Excellent service and very good food (I had salmon and he had mixed grill) we both enjoyed. I loved the flatbread though and could have eaten basket loads of it. Friendly and cosy atmosphere, perfect for casual dining - would highly recommend.

Gorgeous authentic Turkish food. Everything is made fresh in front of your eyes in their open plan kitchen. I feel like the rice was packeted microwaved rubbish but the chicken, veg and salad was all freshly prepared. I'm knocking down one star for adding a mandatory service charge... why? It's a restaurant.. why am I paying you a charge just to take my order and lay a plate on my table? Sorry but extortionate rip-off considering they BAN takeaways!!! Knocking down another star as although the customer service was pleasant they refused to treat my disabled friend with respect, empathy and affection.

The food was really nice and the service was good. Cosey place! The only disappointing thing was that the garlic mushrooms didn't have any taste of garlic.

Very tasty. The wait is worth it. They are the best.

So rude! No prams allowed apparently and was told to leave the pram outside on the street. We didn’t even bother and left!

Myself and my partner stumbled across this place last Sunday evening and we had such a fantastic meal! Absolutely delicious food, large portions, great service and a lovely friendly atmosphere. Will definitely go back!

The staff are very nice, the service is excellent, and the food is excellent. The doneness of the meat and spices was a wonderful addition.

Really great food but clearly needs more staff. Avoid sitting near the door as it gets cold when the door is left open. Recommend booking in advance.

Avoid Avoid Avoid, Never come back again, They robbing you with expensive foods and charge for everything, jug of ayran was £13, i have been reffered from a friend for their delicious food, but their service and food they taken is just for a street resturant but their prices are for luxury restaurant, never never coming back again. Spend your money for what deserve it not these guys.

Food was very good. Portions were exceptional. Service was fast with staff exceptionally polite. Service was not intrusive at all. Prices good.

The food is good here but the only thing I would say is do not go on a Saturday night. We were sat with some EXTREMELY loud drunk people shouting and when asking one of the staff if they could tell them to keep it down they said they couldn’t do that! That’s crazy because it’s not a bar, so should not be like this and they moved us instead. There are more quieter restaurants to go to where the food is comparable. I also saw tiny flies crawl in my lettuce but just didn’t eat the salad as it was served separately. The lamb was really good though. I don’t think I’d come here again.

🚨🚨🚨This is bomb!! Arguably the best Turkish food I’ve ever had and with huge portions. The kebabs were cooked and seasoned to perfection, the breads(!!!!!) had so much flavor from the kebabs, and it was a very nice environment too (saw the staff DJ to someone’s birthday and it was wholesome)

I must have been to this restaurant 10+ times. The food has always been top notch. Great taste and consistent quality. Highly recommend their acili tavuk (grilled chicken breast).

Went with 3 friends, last minute on a busy Saturday night. They found us a table within 10 minutes. We were treated to the most amazing food. Everything we tasted was outstanding. The food was cooked perfectly and seasoned so well that it needed nothing other than a beer and good company. Will definitely be going back and would highly recommend 👌

It was nice food, but be careful of the invoice. They're adding extra for no reason. We had a meal of around 50£ but had to pay 84£ without me noticing, trusting that they'd be trustworthy. Unfortunately, I found out later when I traveled out of Liverpool.

Walked in here with a party of 6 on bold street liverpool with mum in wheelchair Got a space at back. but mum at walk upto seats at theback. Once seated manager said we at to leave wheelchair outside which is too risky. Am sorry but noway. It a £200 wheelchair and lots of thieves about. They werenot very accommodating to mum who is disabled. Will not be going thete again. Went to crust who were so accommodating for mum. .

One of the best restaurants in Bold Street. Very good value for money with their two course meal deal and hence always busy. Other restaurants along Bold Street have similar offers but my experience was that the portions tended to be on the small side. The service was excellent. Friendly, attentive staff who coped admirably with a full restaurant. We were brought a selection of bread with two dips, one a chilli sauce and the other mayo to enjoy while we waited for our starters. We have tried Arnavut gigeri (lamb Liver dish) and Tavuk kanadi (chicken wings) in starters and Acili Tavuk (chicken thighs), Lamb Guvec and Salmon in their main course. All came with rice and salad and the meat was cooked to perfection with nice spices. We were also given a complimentary Turkish delight to end with.

Food was terrible. Probably one of the worst Turkish restaurants I have tried. Dolma was canned. Hummus tasted like straight up garlic. Kebab tasted bad, just terrible experience. Save your money and go somewhere else. We waited 35 minutes for this.

Nice food nice service ! I had ordered a dish for 2. Very big proportion we can finish at all. I like the yougurt drink. Taste funny and good match. BTW, the free salad starter really stimulate my appetite.

Although it was busy but they brought main course and starters very soon and all of them were delicious and fresh .

The best Turkish restaurant in Town and one of my favourite.

The food was very nice and had a lot of flavour. We ordered the platter for two and the portions were very generous. The chicken wings and meat were very well flavoured. However the Adana kebab we had was very dry. I was disappointed with this as the kebab is something I look forward to. In addition the calamari was nice and crispy and the borek was also delicious. Unfortunately the borek filling was very thin. The bread they brought was delicious. Nicely flavoured with herbs and it was a little bit crispy which went really well with the hummus. The hummus was flavoured well and I could taste the chickpeas but it was very grainy. The sitting was compact so be aware if you're in big groups and another thing to remember is, there was a sign that said they don't do take out on left overs. But we never had any issues. Over all, very nice experience and the staff were very helpful.

My first time eating here last night. All I can say is wow. The smell of the food from the street was amazing. Our friends had pre-booked the table as they have eaten here many times and it’s always busy. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was fun and the food was like nothing I had eaten before totally amazing. Will definitely be returning on our next visit.

Always our go to restaurant to eat in, the food and service is always amazing. They always have a good team; helped us celebrate a birthday, bringing out a cake with candles and singing happy birthday, was a lovely surprise. Highly recommend

What a nice restaurant and loved sitting outside in the street watching the hustle and bustle of the high street passing by. The service was amazing and they kept bringing us more sauces and water etc without us even asking. There was a queue for a table the whole time we were there which is a good sign that this is a top restaurant. The food was amazing, cooked perfectly and full of flavour... Plenty of it too! I definitely recommend this place and I will definitely return next time I'm working in the area.

They prepare a spectacular beyti and amazing combo, probably the best I have ever tried in my life. Being Spanish and loving Mediterranean food, this is one of the best you can find in the city. The Karisik is well worth considering as a meal if you and your partner are hungry. It’s packed full of rice,peppers and a a variety of succulent meats. If you’re still peckish after you can’t have eaten it all.

The food from this restaurant was the best food I've ever had while at a restaurant! Nothing was from frozen, everything was made fresh, the taste was sensational! We had 3 hot meses and 2 mains, a lot of food for 2 people but we wanted to try dishes. Came to £70 including 2 drinks and service charge. I think for dinning out and the level of the food we had I think this is reasonable compared with other restaurants. Give this place a try! I will definitely be coming back!
