Hatay Restaurant in Merton

Un restaurante de primer nivel con un amplio menú que sirve tanto verduras como carnívoros. Muy buena relación calidad-precio vinos turcos para acompañar algunos platos bastante diferentes de la norma de Wimbledon. Comidas muy bien cocinadas y un servicio excelente y amable. Generosas porciones. Un gran hallazgo en SW 20. Vamos a hacer una fiesta familiar de 12 en el Día del Boxeo.

Comida muy sabrosa, grandes porciones, personal amable, súper limpio y una gran relación calidad-precio. No estamos en la zona todo el tiempo, pero sin duda volveremos cuando estemos aquí - no hay necesidad de buscar en ningún otro lugar.

Tuve una cena con mi esposa después de un largo viaje. Encontramos este gran restaurante a la vuelta de la esquina de nuestro hotel. El servicio fue puntual y muy amable, la comida deliciosa y los precios competitivos. Lo recomendaría a otros y volvería si nos encontramos en la zona de nuevo.

Gran comida degustación y porciones de entrada de buen tamaño para compartir mientras se sienta en la terraza con una muy buena botella de vino, seguido de un excelente plato principal de degustación no dejó espacio para un desierto, el servicio del excelente personal siempre está en el lugar.

Deliciosa y auténtica comida, que probé junto con una copa de vino tinto turco. El servicio fue amable y atento. En general, fue una experiencia encantadora. Es una pena que no viva más cerca. Sin duda volveré 😊

My flatmate and I had the most incredible meal at Hatay last night. The food was delicious, great quality, service was perfect and after having the baklava we both went home and had baklava themed dreams! 10/10 will definitely be back!

We , family of three enjoyed a lovely dinner here at Wimbledon branch n Wednesday. The food was served with a smile , the staff helping with the selection of menu. The mezze display was decorative, delicious and flavoursome. The mixed grill along with Turkish boat pizza was amazing and filling.

Very tasty food friendly staff. They were a bit enthusiastic, as clearing our plates before we’d all finished. But the food was generous and very tasty. Good quality meat. Would go again as had a lovely atmosphere.

Fantastic food, great service and atmosphere. I love this modern Turkish restaurant, they have a great selection of food, fresh ingredients, great wines and the staff are always friendly.

Hatay is one of our favourite restaurants. We haven’t been in a while, but as always we received a very warm welcome. The staff are lovely and always look after us very well. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and are thinking it won’t be too long before we visit again.

Absolutely disgusted with the manager here tonight! We had made a booking for 14 people tonight but one had to cancel for personal reasons. Nothing was mentioned about deposit being penalised against anyone not showing, it was to be paid beforehand and deducted off the bill. The food, drink and service was amazing!!When presented with the bill they still kept the extra £10 deposit for the person that couldn’t make it. When we questioned this the manager came over and said it’s policy that they keep the £10, even though as a group we had spent well over £600! After refusing to deduct the £10 I told the manager to remove the service charge for the whole bill instead. He proceeded to inform me he would call the police and that the service charge was compulsory. After explaining this was not a legality he eventually deducted the £10 but started to moan about having other customers cancel on his business tonight. Whilst I sympathised with this that’s not my nor my friends concern especially after spending so much. Honestly this manager is an embarrassment to the business.

It is getting a bit of a common occurrence, this is one of our go to places to enjoy some of their fabulous food, this time we decided just to go with a selection of their starters and they did not disappoint. Great tasting food and good portion size to share with excellent service as usual.

We have been visiting Hatay about once every 6 weeks for most of the year. We love Turkish food so was keen to find somewhere local and Hatay is one of the best Turkish restaurants we've been to in the Country. The staff are all absolutely lovely, they remember regular faces and even orders, and they give such a warm greeting and great service. The food is delicious. Massive portions, perfectly cooked and reasonably priced. It is often very busy as it is understandably popular but even then the food and service is prompt. Highly recommended.

We had enjoyed our visit very much, really authentic good from Hatay kitchen was served..also very helpful staff too...we will go back there for sure.. the olive salad was exceptional!!

Had an amazing experience at Haytay. Food was excellent and the staff were very attentive. I suffer from a walnut allergy and they were very thorough going through the menu with me and swapping items so that we could enjoy a sharing platter together. Thank you Haytay for the wonderful food and drinks. We will be returning!!

I dined here for the first time with friends yesterday evening off the back of a recommendation and was super impressed. My friends and I shared hot and cold starter platters - the restaurant staff were really accommodating with an allergy within our party and offered suggestions of dishes we could swap in the platters and when everything came, it was delicious! Our mains also did not disappoint, my Adana Kofta was superb. We also enjoyed cocktails and shared baklava for dessert. Incredibly tasty food and lovely friendly service. I would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Yet another fabulous evening for a meal in popular Hatay, well laid out, spotlessly clean with excellent attentive service from the staff. Food is very well presented and melt in the mouth good, what more do you want for an evening out.

First time experience. Visited for my wife’s 40th birthday. Everything including the food, service and spacious and clean restaurant was exquisite. I have visited many Turkish restaurants in the UK but this one was head and shoulders above the rest. If you are looking for a 6* quality meal at a reasonable price I would highly recommend Hatay. You definitely won’t be disappointed. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
