Ordered take away. Will not repeat. Cedar mixed grill was very disappointing. Meat was over salty, kebabs made of low quality meet and so salty I binned them. Other meat was below average. I am regular customer of Lebanese restaurants. This is not what I expect. Sorry guys. Won’t order again.

I've been going to the Cedar for 15 years and its always been consistently good, with great food, with a warm family-run atmosphere. When the previous owner told me that he was selling up I was so disappointed. But then found out that one of the chefs was taking over so it stayed 'in the family' and happy to say its still as good as ever, and the staff/service is as warm and friendly as ever. It is one of those places that feel part of the community. I highly recommend paying this restaurant a visit.

This is perhaps the most authentic lebanese food that you can find in London. We have been coming here for many years and it has never disappointed.

Honestly one of the best Middle Eastern food I’ve ever had in a while, the food is so fresh and delicious, service was outstanding and very quick I highly recommend taking your friends or family there 10/10!

Went yesterday for lunch and were very pleasantly surprised by the quality and generous quantity of the food, the friendly waitress and the general ambience of the place. We were three, one of us vegetarian. We shared most dishes, hummus, fattoush, tabbouleh, malfouf (stuffed cabbage), kellaj and mixed grill. All very delicious! We were even given kibbeh on the house which was one of the best we have had in a long time. Two of us had the yoghurt drink (Ayran) and one a Lebanese beer (Almaza). We also shared the baklava with ice cream which was yummy. Thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

The food was great with good portions. The staff were friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend eating there.

Just visited yesterday for the first time and it’s safe to say that it was the best Lebanese food i have ever had. I highly recommend the mixed grill the meat was very succulent. Amazing

That said, for a small, family-run restaurant, it delivers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and with some attention to the main courses, it has great potential. On the bright side, the starters were truly standout and set a promising tone for future visits.

I love this place. The food is outstanding. It’s fresh and the flavours are amazing. I always go for the shawarma and my children love the chicken shish. Excellent selection of Mezze too. The service is also really nice which is a big bonus when eating out for us. Really enjoyed it. Thank you to the amazing chefs! You make me feel like I’m in Beirut.

One of the best lebanese restaurants I have ever visited and bear in mind that I am lebanese and am so picky with food I know my stuff. The soujouk are juicy and well marinated, the tabuleh is amazing my mum has been searching for a restaurant that serves good tabuleh for a long time when she had it at this restaurant she kept telling us all night long how good the tabuleh is to the point we had to return the next morning to order more. Wraps and grills are beautifully put together simply succulent, dips are creamy and mouthwatering. I can’t recommend enough, I can’t remember the last time I had a good meal since the quality of food and service have really dropped. I am glad I found this restaurant the chef certainly knows what he’s doing! 5/5 Dietary restrictions are catered for even the tabuleh is made without burghul (wheat) which demonstrates how knowledgeable the chef is.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of dining at a Lebanese restaurant that truly exceeded our expectations. The vegetarian plate, priced at £13, offered such generous portions that one would have sufficed for two. Each dish was a culinary delight, far surpassing mediocrity. The hummus, moutabel, sambousek, falafel, and batata harra were all exceptional, and even the salad was a standout. Additionally, we indulged in a plate of warak enab rolls, which included six scrumptious pieces. The staff’s kindness and engaging conversation further enhanced our experience, and the restaurant’s atmosphere felt like a hidden gem. Coupled with the reasonable prices, our visit was an excellent experience that we highly recommend. Sorry for the photo. We’ve been mesmerized and too late to take a photo before we finish it all.

We were warmly welcomed. Traditional music added to the lovely ambience . We ordered 8 starters between the 2 of us. All were piping hot apart from the hummous. Food was tasty and delicious. Service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

Great Lebanese restaurant with good food and great service

Cedar Lebanese One of the best Lebanese restaurants in and around Wimbledon. Lovely food. Amazing ambience and the service is very warm. We tried sheekh kabab and lamb kibbeh for mains. I added a bread basket on the side. And of course a serving of baklava for desert. . Lebanese food is quite close to Indian cuisine. So the aromatic spices and the heat went right with my palette. The kibbeb was just mouth watering. I would have them anytime anywhere 😁 😁. . . A must try if you are a fan of Lebanese food.

Just finished eating our takeaway order. We had 3 mixed schwarma wraps and two portions of chips. It was plenty for 3 big eaters. My 17 year old son was stuffed. It was delicious. The wraps were full with meat and salad. The skin on chips were the best we have had from a takeaway. Really friendly staff. This is my second time having a takeaway and we're so impressed we are going to eat in next time as it looks lovely. Thank you

Absolutely brilliant staff, we took over the restaurant with two new horns and a toddler and they couldn't be more accommodating. The service was quick and the food was lovely I am definitely returning. The rice with chicken shawarma was delicious I highly recommend it, and the portions are massive, well for me.

We have been regular customer for over four years. This evening we ordered our usual takeaway and after over an hour of waiting for a driver to become available, we called to enquire if the restaurant could provide us with an update. The man who answered was extremely rude. Beyond rude. He shouted at us, provided no apology or any information, whatsoever, shouted some more and said if we are unhappy then we should go somewhere else…and hung up. Worst customer service ever. We will never return.

This Jordanian family was very happy - authentic, fresh and very tasty Lebanese food - definitely the best we’ve had outside of the Middle East. We will be back :)

A group of 10 of us happened to come across this place as we were staying nearby. My wife and I shared the cedar mixed grill, fattoush salad and halloumi bread. Everything was utter delicious, special shout-out to that halloumi bread. The staff were all lovely and it was all great value for money.

Have been to Cedar restaurant several times, one of the best Lebanese experience you could have. The food is amazing and home made, quantity are huge and quality is great. People there are welcoming and really focus on your experience before anything else. Could not recommend more!
