The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in North East

We went on my birthday as a family. We had two boys aged 12 and 10 years old and three adults. We opted for a starter each and a main course each. The steak I had was very tender and just right for how I had ordered it. It had a nice salad with it and I had a side of chips to go with it. It was very tasty. The other adults enjoyed their choices and the boys liked their choices too. The food arrived hot and tasty in a reasonable time. Great experience.

Excellent! I had a lovely time at the establishment. The staff were really warm and friendly. Definitely visiting here again.

Spanish deli, Tapas restaurant and vermuteria all in one - whats not to love. The food is excellent, the vermut is excellent and youll not leave without buying something in the deli.

Highly recommend the food as its hot fresh and delicious. Creamy chicken was lush, mixed grill and lamb casserole also out of this world. Sweet treats were moreish.

Visited and bought veg parcels or samosas I think they are called they were fantastic and bought little chocolate sweet cakes which were to die for. I have ordered some flavoured rum for my next visit

Amazing food there parmos are amazing and so so tasty. Chicken perfectly cooked and well worth a look. The price is very resonable for the portion size and the tatste is amazing Staff friendly and helpfull

AND THE NEW. best Sunday dinner in Newcastle, followed closely by Osters (same people). Food and service impeccable.

I love the sandwiches here - a real treat! And so kind to me when I was having the worst day, thank you for making it a bit brighter xx

Why haven't we been here before now?! First time at Stalida - we ordered 9 varied meze dishes and a side between us - everything was excellent - beautifully cooked and full of flavour - easily some of the best food we've had in Hexham. Also fast & friendly service. Highly recommended!

One of our favourite Turkish restaurants. Our go-to orders are to Turkish bread, hummus, Adana.

Great food and a cozy environment with friendly staff

We made a last min booking and managed to get an earlyish dinner. Highly recommend booking as it is very popular. Food was really good. Service could have been a bit more helpful. We had a young child with us, wouldn’t recommend it for families, it’s too cramped and their chairs are low and didn’t seem to have any high chairs. I’d definitely return but only if I had a babysitter.
