Visited at the weekend with friends, had tomato and basil soup, with garlic, seasalt and tomato flat bread, it wa so good, that I took my hubby there yesterday for lunch, and had the same! Lovely staff, decor is fab. Definitely recommended 👌

Lovely set up , looks inviting and warm cosy , seemed a bit soulless though , anyways we had roast beef I’ve been a few times in the past and enjoyed the roasts every time so I thought hey good spot great food let’s do it ! Stops there great spot food was rubbish tbh , the roast beef had little and no taste the gravy no taste the veg well you can’t get that wrong so it was a pass , the Yorkshires were spot on but the roast potatoes were probably the worst I’ve ever eaten, awful , tbh I can make them better using my air fryer really dissatisfied with them to the point I told the waiter politely how bad they were , they looked dried out the outside was hard as hell with no colour and the inside was like a husk ! So disappointing ! I will try it again in a few months to see if there a change if there’s not I will take my business elsewhere , oh staff were polite and friendly just a shame about the roast ! I feel hard done by and had better from a Toby carvery not what I expected at all !

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The waiter, who appeared to be of Indian origin, was very unprofessional and lacked proper communication skills. When I mentioned that the food was cold and not delicious, he completely ignored my feedback and did not make any effort to address the issue. The overall experience was frustrating, and I hope the management takes steps to improve both the quality of food and customer service.

I find it quite unbelievable that, after claiming to be a vegetarian restaurant for years, they’re still selling non-vegetarian Parmesan on their menu - they even mention this on the website (calf rennet is made from dead calves). The Vegetarian Society contacted them about this in 2014, but they don’t appear to have taken it on board. There are so many vegetarian cheeses these days (I don’t mean vegan cheese, I mean dairy cheese made without animal rennet), it’s a shame they couldn’t accept this feedback. I wonder how many unsuspecting people have eaten here believing their food to be vegetarian, when it isn’t.
